Why Do You All Want KH3D On A Console So Badly?

Featured Replies

Nintendo said in the new legend of Zelda game there would be a hint to whether they are or are not going to remake majora's mask.

Well Majora's actual Mask is on the wall of a house in the game, if that's meant to be a hint for yeah all good, but they've been toying with my hopes for that since I got way into Zelda ):

True so it can be anything.

It is not like I'm against people that want DDD on a console like the PS3/PS4 so badly, but making a DDD remake/remaster is just wasting time since they should focus on KH3 after they finished KH2.5 in my opinion. I don't want to wait longer just because some people want a DDD remake/remaster so bad.

This is only the 2nd time I've heard about wanting KH3D remade for consoles so.. :/

BbS was released in 2010, it'll be coming out for PS3 4 years later. Re:Coded released in 2011, it'll be coming out for PS3 3 years later *albeit in cutscene form*.

Nomura is hoping for a KH game every year right? Let's say KH3 isn't ready by 2015, what better game to fill in that spot than a KH3D remaster/make? By then the game will have been old enough for a PS3 update.

I guess what I'm saying is, I don't see the big deal? I mean unless it gets to unbearable whining levels *that I see with my own eyes* IDGAF.

Yeah it confuses me too. I would understand it if it was a DS title but the 3DS is a current gen system, the game is new and the graphics look fine. That's why it won't happen.

So stop whining about it please.

First of all, it's totally wrong to compare KH3D with Coded. Simply because most of Coded playthrough are not that important as KH3D which has an important things in every single world.Second, about the (no reason ) part. It is enough to say that not having a 3D screen is a reason and if your willing to say that it is the people's problem to not have a 3D TV then I would reflect the same on you because it is also your problem for not having a 3DS or at least a 2DS if you don't care for the 3D feature as I can see from your words.Third, for the (it's been done before) part, not every 3DS game that was remade or remastered to PS3 was successful. Example for that is Resident Evil Revelations, it got lower rates than its original game. So having KH3D remastered would be dangerous and could end up in bad rates and reputations comparing it with its original console.Fourth, Re:Coded and 358/2 Days were excluded because of the time, not because of their nature gameplay. Finally, like you saved money for having a DS and PSP. You could also save money to buy at least a 2DS especially since the sales are becoming lower with these two. And having your consoles being broke got nothing to do with the whole subject, it's your own mistake.

No, it isn't wrong to compare the two. Not in this instance when one gets shafted over the other. It's totally right to compare the two when Coded didn't NEED to be put on the 3DS to understand the story while DDD is a vital piece to the tale. Coded could have been a cliffnote put in a collection that said 'Also this happened' and everything would be gained exactly the same.

Who said we needed a 3D TV? If DDD can be played on a 2DS, why can't it be played on a simple normal TV? I don't own a 3D TV myself and don't plan on it.

Again, but it HAS been done before AND successfully. Such as Metal Gear Solid: Peacewalker, which got ported from the PSP to the HD collection (within a year of it's release, might I add) and it's been universally welcomed to consoles. When it's a big piece of the story, yes it deserves to be included in a collection like this. You can't deny that DDD is important.

I recognize that Days and Coded were excluded due to time, but do you really see anyone up in arms over it? The worst I've seen is a resounding 'Aww...oh well.' Why? Because the gameplay of Days and Coded wasn't the best part of those games. Who seriously wants to go through and hit data blocks again in Coded? DDD, however, is like BBS in that there's new worlds, the gameplay is different, and it FEELS like a sequel instead of dumbing it down to handhelds. The only problem is that it IS on handhelds.

For the record, this thread is about why I, personally, want it on console. My opinion was given, and my own experiences with doing this exact same thing twice are valid to that question. I could save up money for a 3DS and buy DDD. The kicker is: I don't want to. I'm not going to. I don't expect DDD to be put in the HD collection, but I'm not going to buy a 3DS for that game. I admire that you're willing to go that far, but I've had enough of buying entire systems for one or two games.

TWEWY can suck it. I don't really care, but it'd be nice to all the games on a console & not just exclude one. I'm satisfied that BBS is getting remastered, because it's my favorite.

Seriously? Why Are you all so bent on having the game on a PS3/PS4? What would be the point of making it on an HD console? In case you all haven't noticed, It recently came out last year. Plus, the 3DS is now at a cheap price (this goes especially for the 2DS) and not to mention that the 3DS is selling like hotcakes, especially in Japan.

So how about instead of whining and asking for a remake/port of KH3D we all ask Square for a TWEWY sequel? Sound good to you guys?

Because then  can record it through hdpvr2 and it will b better quality; i know that u can record a ads albeit not very well, but thats just it, i want all kh games (yes i know bout III and xchi and online) to be on same console too

For the same reason people want 1.5 and 2.5 to be on 360

or the same reason people want KH3 to be ported to the Wii U or PC

people want to play their favorite series on their platforms of their choosing

but the world does not cater to everybody all the time

No matter how much sense it would make to port 1.5/2.5 to Xbox 360 and to port KH3 to the Wii U, that does not mean it will happen

for your first two points, those are not identical reasons. that's because people out there are begging for kh 3D  to be REMADE. the first two reasons you put are to just port a game to a different console.

well, the game can play the game on their favorite platforms, if they wait. or they can just play it on an emulator.

Kh3D is a game that need the 3D feature, and having it remastered without a 3D feature would be a wrong move for Square Enix and since your defending about the 2DS by yourself then head and take one instead of losing the most important part of the story by wishing for something that will never happen. Also, remastering a 3DS game is way harder than remastering a PSP game. So your example here is totally wrong from the first place and if your taking a PSP game as an example then I could say that BBS is coming to the PS3 too and KH3D got nothing to do with PSP games. I also didn't deny that KH3D is important, but having it in handled consoles doesn't mean that it is not important (and this is sadly the thinking of a lot of people. Handled Game= Spin off, which is totally wrong)

I said it once and I'll say it again.. KH3D is a travesty. It's basically on the same filler level as Coded. Doesn't have any replay value as far as I'm concerned.. I'm happy with what we're getting for the KH2.5 remix but just leave 3D alone.

No, it doesn't. True, 3DS hardware is harder to implement than a PSP's, but I'd hardly say DDD NEEDS the 3D function. Again, if it did, it wouldn't be playable on 2DS.

It's a weak link when only ONE game in the series isn't on consoles. It's stupid to have all the other games' stories in their individual HD collections (including KHIII later on) and then there's DDD sitting on a completely different handheld platform. It's stupid to have to either buy the system and game to see it or watch the (low-res, not very good) cutscenes on Youtube compared to the HD cutscenes of every other game.

And again, this is a thread about why I, the reader, want it in the HD collections. I'm not wishing or hoping, I'm aware it most likely will never be in an HD collection. I'd like it to be so, but you can't get everything you want. And Nintendo/Square isn't going to get my hard-earned money on this.

People want KH358/2 days, coded, and 3D to be remade for the Wii U

people want KH 3D to be ported/remade to ps3/ps4

people want KH1.5 and KH 2.5 to be ported to Xbox 360

people want KH3 to be ported to Wii U or PC

ported, remade, same thing different name.

Lol, every 3DS game can be played on the 2DS, but that doesn't mean that the 3D feature is not important. What Nomura did was enough, he is saving money for the fans who don't want to buy handheld games but that's enough. Now he is just giving you the option to buy PS3,PS4 and 3DS, although the fans should've bought more handheld consoles instead. And again I state that having a game on a handheld console doesn't mean that is weak or not important. And if you find it stupid that all of them are in the PS3 except 3D, then buy all the games on its original consoles lol.

How is the 3D feature important in KH3D? It's just a gimmick. It's cool during cutscenes but some people would argue that watching cutscenes at a higher res on tvs is more important. And I think you're missing his point: he's not saying the handheld games are unimportant, just that it's impacting the story and people's understanding of the story by keeping only one installment on handhelds. And why should he buy all the original consoles when he wants them on ps3? That makes no sense.
