I can't take this post seriously. There is a difference between a nice guy and a clingy guy. Also, assholes are, well, assholes. Reading this: "Assholes know how to make a girl miss them" that's because they're leaving all the time probably to go screw whores or get wasted with pals. I'm passionate about this because I knew several girls with this POV, and you know what happened? They were abused. Broken arm, brused head, the works. I couldn't say "I told you so" because I'm not that guy, and I don't want to remind them of the asshole they dated. If someone treats you like that, controls you all the time and leaves you, you better find another guy. I've seen too many lives ruined by this, and I'm only 17. And everyone wonders why the hell I hate so many damn people. THIS is exactly why. People wonder why I don't talk to people at school. THIS IS WHY. Don't want to deal with assholes, and don't want to deal with girls who don't see what they're in for until they're abused, dead, or raped. -rant over-

For what it's worth, there are plenty of women out there who are substantial enough to not date assholes or "nice guys," neither of whom have any worthwhile substance of their own.

 

Unfortunately, most of them are out of high school/college by this point, so it's no surprise you haven't met a lot of them yet.  Why do I get the feeling that post was written by a bitter frat boy?

Well, unfortunately this happens a lot, I mean assholes being chosen over nice guys. And what's worse, after breaking up with one asshole, most will go after another asshole, while there's that nice guy who is just to shy to admit his feelings. Oh well, woman should search more for nice guys, and these shouldn't be so shy. Nice girls should date nice guys. Unfortunately most of the time that isn't exactly what happens. There's nothing we can do, though. They choose the wrong guys and suffer for their choice... that cycle has to end, yet I don't see a solution, unless they think more carefully about the guys they should have as boyfriend. 

 

Note: I do not agree with the last part, I thought nice guys didn't give that much freedom because they do care about their girlfriends so they try to spend a lot of time with them and stuff.

IMO, anyone who is better at women for not liking him even though he's a nice guy isn't all that nice. A real nice guy wouldn't be complaining that girls only go for "bad-boys" and nice guys like him get left out.

I'm not complaining that the bad-boys get the girls, I couldn't care less. What I care about is when people get abused or raped or killed because of this. I've known too many people who have broken an arm due to a relationship with this point of view.

My aunt had an asshole husband and yes, she stayed with him but it only drained on her emotional well-being. She finally ended it with him and is starting to feel better about herself.

I didn't finish it, but this article is basically telling us that lying to seem cool is perfectly okay. (at least the beginning)But I'm glad to hear your aunt is better.

Every girl was taught that when they are young that, if he is mean to me, then he likes me. 

 

I liked girls who treated me like a "friend" because I was toooo nice to them, You got to give girls something to chase . Us guys  also feel like that if we are nice to girls, then they well like us back

How to handle chicks depends on the girl, but 90% of girls like assholes, 5% don't because they are the controlling type, and the other 5% don't like assholes because they are the desperate type.

 

another thing that kills nice guy's chance with getting with the girl he wants is, because he might not have that much confidence ( at least with girls), which is more important then how your face looks or money or how sexy you are IMO.This goes back to the beginning of the human race where the male with the most confidence in the tribe (usually the Alpha male) is the leader of the tribe and gets the most girls due to that.  

 

I am not saying hurting, beating or killing a girlfriend/wife is acceptable.

 

Girls are like Wi-Fi they see all available options then they pick the strongest ones. The strongest ones are usually the assholes. Us guys are the opposite, we want a girl that are nurturing, nice, and loving due to the fact that in the beginning of human species men have chosen the women who are best at nurturing babies and children,while the men go hunting for food.

2.when did I say if it was ok or not for a girl to date a asshole. I just explained WHY she does if she choose to. Girls can't help it, they love assholes or the jerks. they are not as shallow as guys, they care more about how confident a guy is then how he looks.
