Yet if it was a Final Fantasy spin-off, you'd probably care. Also, I'm pretty sure the fanbase for TWEWY proves it isn't just a "silly" standalone game.

In fact Live Remix was never translated in English. The userbase never expanded due to no English influence. Solo Remix was the actual TWEWY reborn with the extra secret ending that truly hinted at a sequel. You better think twice before you proudly praise Square, Sora. They're not disbanding TWEWY, just their social network flop. In fact news of the network flop has pulled in questions of the sequel being realized now.
