23 Signs You're A Grown-Up Gamer

Featured Replies

I would assume you're a grown up gamer when you're over 18 and play games.  But according to this even though I'm 19, I like long games, I only buy what I'll play, I'll play on the hardest difficulty unless trophies don't stack, I like making new characters, etc

....pretty sure I have a duck tape pattern the same as the penguin pajammas.

I have NEVER heard someone say they're content with a 4 to 6 hour single player. I always hear how pissed people are that they paid a ton of money for a 6 hour game.

This is so stupid with a few valid points.

Exactly

IGN don't know shit aside from their own ego and their own bribed reviews for shit like Call of Duty

Like seriously this video is stupid

I'm 24 year old and I STILL love RPG as my favorite genre and every RPG I play takes at least between 15 to 30 or even 40+ hours to complete

I don't know how's someone is content for a 3 hour game without any worthwhile collectibles

Would rather that than the nerds at GameSpot who's design looks garbage now.

Nerds? You got a long way to go...I mean, I'm no fan of either, I let the game decide for me, not some bs gaming site. But I would never call people nerds on something gaming related.

I don't take notice of reviews, I use IGN for news.

I just watch trailers and conferences on youtube, no need for ign. News isn't that important unless it's KH or Zelda, in which I have here and ZeldaDungeon/Zeldainformer to get that from. I can see why you'd use ign though, being in charge of the news and all. My point though was that you dun call gamers nerds. That's a big no no, in the community.

That's how I mostly use IGN, through their YouTube channel and Social Media accounts. We don't get our news from IGN. We get it straight from Square Enix.

Sure they're the biggest game sites but they're also the biggest gaming morons on the planet......until DSPGaming came to existence

Both Gamespot and IGN are garbage

How are IGN garbage? Because you don't like their opinions? Lol. Always remember that, they're only opinions.

Not because of their opinions

But because they barely know anything about either the news they're reporting or the articles they write or the reviews they do

Well you can't be expected to know about everything, IGN covers more than just video games. If you don't like it, just ignore it.

I'll just say ....whatever your age is ,you are a gamer . And that means that you play games ,online or not, you have fun and you also "kill your time" .....
