Square Enix have announced a new compilation album by Yoko Shimomura, the composer of the Kingdom Hearts series. The album is called Memória, and will contain tracks from the Kingdom Hearts series, along with other Square Enix games that she has composed for. Memória will release on March 26, 2014.

Spiritual successor to Drammatica? Count me in.

When I see the name of the album is in portuguese I can't help but feel puzzled.

Yoko Shimomura is a master composer, so all her songs are in high regard.  In addition to the KH tracks, I hope to hear some of the more recent Final Fantasy tracks implemented, like Saber's Edge or Blinded by Light.  Either way, knowing this is a Yoko album, it's pretty much a guaranteed success!  Oh, and here's hoping The Mysterious Figure's theme, Dark Impetus, is in the album as well!
