Yeah Nintendo. This is TOTALLY not reinforcing stereotypes of female gamers. Not at all (sarcasm)

Well... That exists.

Fool. What's wrong Tails? You don't think females should be able to have their own video game club? This is a good thing.

well, thats enough life for one day

Tails The Fox, his mind is blown, he'll kick you right in your special zone.

Sorry MIles, but you're kinda in the red here.

Not seeing much of a stereotype. Those games are universal. You're acting like it's all Nintendo Style Boutique or girls fawning over how cute Pikachu is or whatever.

Then go do that. Meanwhile, all the girls who like Nintendo will join this club.

I don't see what's wrong with it, really.

It's a vain attempt on Nintendo UK's part though. Everyone knows there's no such thing as girl gamers. :P

No, they exist. Girls on the internet on the other hand...

Yay Girl Power!!!!!! Girls can be better than if not just as good as any male gamer but that chick seems kinda fake she just doesn't seem as natural or give off that cool, chill, and laid-back vibe I get from most female gamers I meet

My only problem with this is the girl talking, as she's very much the stereotypical girl. I mean, it's not a big deal to me, but just her room and stuff... Not all us girls are like that. To quote something from Tumblr, why can't we have a thing where a girl's sitting around drinking tea, and thinking she's smarter than everyone else because she watches Doctor Who?

Edit: I do give them points for effort, though. And appreciate that they do realize there are girl gamers out there. It could be worse: it could be FFX-2. (Don't get me wrong: I liked X-2 for the most part, but could that game have had anymore girl stereotypes in it?)

Mixed feelings about this. I see what Nintendo is trying to do, but the execution so far I've seen isn't all that great. Even more that goes through my mind is "is this an effective way to grab the female audience?"

Also, anyone else notice Mario stalking them all? xD

I realize they're trying to recognize girls as gamers, but by doing this, they're only growing the Gamer Girl label. Honestly that's just pathetic. Gamers are gamers, gender doesn't matter. If you want the labels I can't really consider you one...
