After KH3, I want 3 years to be the bare minimum amount of time skipped from KH3 to KH4. I want them all to be considered an adult (18-20 years old), especially because their voices would be MUCH deeper that far into the future so it would be even more awkward for them trying to voice young teens at such an old age.

 

Also, it would be amazing for us veterans of the series to feel like we've literally experienced Sora and the gang grow up with us throughout time, and to think back, "wow, he was just a kid when we first started playing."

THIS. exactly my point, I was going to mention that in my first post but forgot

I've been saying this for years. Sora needs to age. The Kingdom Hearts series needs to grow up with us. No, I'm not saying it need to be 'darkier and edgierr', but it needs to be on the level of the FF games. It's getting there, but I think aging the main characters could really push it in that direction.

 

KHI was Rated E and KHII was E 10 and up. Let's make KHIII the first game to be Rated T.

Sora's character needs to match the voice actor...Have you heard how deep his voice was as vanitas? Just think how deep it'll be 8 years from now for KH4. 

 

And 3 years is almost nothing. Just something to make him look a tad bit more mature.

I think the ages are fine the way they are. Think of it like SMT and Persona, SMT usually focuses on adult characters while Persona characters tend to be high-school age, I would be fine if FF and KH were like that.

 

Sora already looks older in the trailers, I'm guess in him and Kairi will be 16, making Riku 17, which is considered "legal" in certain places if still not technically an adult

 

As for the voices, the main Eng. cast (Haley, David, Hayden) are all adults, their voices aren't going to change much from now on. If they ever do it won't be until they're in their 60s.
