...Gaaaahhh.

it would be alright.... BUT THEN NO UNCUT GOODIES.

Wait, do you mean if they bought the whole style in general, or a certain show or movie?... :

I believe it's been said the "Godfather of Anime" Osamu Tezuka (the creator of Astro Boy) was influenced by Disney's art style

If true then Disney already helped inspire the anime art style in some small part- but you can't just BUY anime, that would be like purchasing live-action or comedy

Disney's style itself is meant to take aspiration from anime (big doey eyes and all) already.  I don't really see a need for them to make anime, considering somewhere along the line there is a anime version of it made, inspired by it or already an anime similar enough to it.  Like Kimba the White Lion/Lion King, Atlatis/Nadia, Frozen/Saint Seiya, Lupid 3/The Great Mouse Detective etc.

I was about to mention that.  His early works included anime versions of things like Bambi, he took inspiration and created Kimba the White Lion, and Disney in turn took inspiration from that and created The Lion King.  He's also referenced as the Walt Disney of Japan/on the other side of the world.

Yeah I've heard Astro Boy is Japan's Mickey Mouse- which I mean technically they both kinda have the same costumes (shorts and shoes) xD

Uhhmmm.......

No.

Anime is a style of art,not a style of region.Which means,Disney can just make them instead of bought them anyways...

Ponyo is distributed by Disney and it has the anime style...and Disney does mangas too like Kilala Princess.

I saw Ariel and I was like "It'd be alright I guess..."

then I saw Mickey.

No .. just.. no... please...

It would be fine with me. Just saying.

Okay, I had to come back and post something to this, Anime is not a style, anime is just to distinguish Japanese animation from other countries animation. Manga came first and the first uses of anime was to describe manga being presented in an animated form for television or movie. Yes there are some anime that do not have a manga, but the first was manga a form of book with multiple pictures to tell a story. It is not a style for multiple artist have different depictions to the human body, animals, world, life all the above, whether they decide to idealize or not the representative meaning is still there.

Thank you and I apologize to sound rude/hateful whatever, I am a manga enthusiast, and I have great respects for the arts and media.

Oh , Good Lord ....
