When the first poll asked if people were okay with someone other than Squeenix doing KH, I'm pretty sure the people who voted no were referring to the main games. As for the first poll, I never took it, but I'm guessing that many people didn't even bother to memorize the names of each company in the choices, and merely thought that any game developed outside of Square Enix would be a bad idea.
