The Legend of Zelda for the Wii U has officially been revealed. It's due for release in 2015 for now, and what we've seen already is official gameplay.

Link's face looks more cartoony than the environment.  I love cartoony graphics!

I like the fact that there is some sort of futuristic technology in this, but that they didn't go so far with it.

Hmm. Maybe it's just me but I'm noticing a trend here. If you look at the rear cover of ALBW you'll see that Link looks slightly older than the typical kid Link, closer to 12 then 10. Now this Link looks to be about 14. maybe Nintendo are trying to fill in the age gap between kid Link and adult Link, or maybe I'm just off my rocker and over analyzing things.

 

I personally prefer adult Link but I really want this game. But I has no Wii U and I don't know when I'll be able to get one because I'm focused on upgrading my computer and getting a PS4

I think that this is what we get for waited for so long for the trailer of zelda U. 

Now I can't wait to see where it takes place in the zelda timeline.

Looks like it'll be Adult Timeline, at least a few hundred years for the kind of technology being used.  That's just my speculation, but it looks like a totally new land of Hyrule and the only noticeable buildings are in a small village at the bottom of the hill. Looks like a small castle wall is there too.

An open-world Zelda is something I can definitely get behind. This looks just amazing.
