BBS: Would you have preferred multiplayer in 2.5 ReMIX?

Posted

I've been seeing some people complain about the lack of multiplayer features in BBS, and I want to know what everyone thinks. Would you have preferred if both Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX and Kingdom Hearts III be delayed to incorporate multiplayer, or do you prefer how things have turned out, not getting multiplayer but getting the 2.5 collection early and (hopefully) getting KH3 sooner too?

  1. 1. Would you have preferred BBS to have multiplayer in the HD 2.5 ReMIX?

    • Yes, even if it causes KHIII and 2.5 ReMIX to be delayed.

    • Yes, but not if it delays KHIII and 2.5 ReMIX.

    • No. I want to get 2.5 ReMIX and KHIII as soon as possible and/or I don't like multiplayer.

I would have liked to play the game with groups of people in big online matches, but I guess this is fine. They left out a lot of the stuff I wanted actually(and then revealed it was going to be in but didn't make it)

I think everyone will say they would have preferred multiplayer.

I also think everyone that's complaining about it needs some perspective. They've given their fair reason which was not to delay them, so we have closure on why. We're still getting Mirage Arena, we're getting the game remastered in HD. Gotta be happy with all that.

And for all the people who go on about that "One game a year" crap, it wouldn't have came out this year if they did include it.

I don't have real-life friends who play Kingdom Hearts, so I don't really care. Playing with people from this site may have been fun, though. :P

Not really. I like this change better. Smarter enemies in single-player Mirage Arena is more fun to me than a multiplayer that has a limited timeframe on it's usability before Square eventually shuts down its server and then it's completely useless after then. At least with single-player, you can play to your heart's content.

Split-screen multiplayer would have been awesome (: but that would have likely caused even more delays...

Game developers don't believe in split-screen multiplayer anymore. (Other than 343 Industries. I think Halo 4 had split-screen.) Upsetting, but more often than not, true.

I'd love to get a PS KH game with non-online multiplayer, but many games don't have that so i'm not disappointed in not having it and i'm just glad if that means the games will take less time to develop.

Too bad. I love that kind of multiplayer but all the games seem to only have online multiplayers. I'd like to play with my sister but i'm not gonna buy a new PS and game just for that.

Eh hit or miss for me really I'm just happy that we are finally getting KH2 Final Mix and in HD! Roxas boss battle!

I wanted to play with friends on the only game I'm better at them. firetruck me for wanting a feature for a game on a console I have and that also has a release date. Sorry for not having enough "perspective".

I understand why they didn't include it, and it's a shame.  I'm hoping that the large disappointment of not having this feature will make them consider a multiplayer mode in KH3.

Haha, it's alright Dolan :P it seems like many people share your opinion..

I think the only thing that made me VERY disappointed with Square was the lack of Multiplayer, for real. I was very excited to play with my girlfriend and my friends... Not anymore.

I like to play with friends but I don't like delays so that is my vote, KH3 with multiplayer sounds nice but delays... Nah

I would have liked for them to keep multiplayer, but I'm happy as long as we get the game.

Kingdom hearts birth by sleep had the best multiplayer system I think, and yet I never got to use it! So yes I would've wanted it even if it delayed the games!

The only reason why I would have wanted it is because I'd have a better chance of finding other payers on PS3 as opposed to PSP.

I like MP, but not at the sacrifice of SP. I would not want the entire experience to be delayed for something that's admittedly a small part of it.

I really don't mind, playing BbS in the PS3 is good enough already, and since it includes the final mix content I have no complaints
