For some messed up reason, people, are comparing Japan's Collector's Pack to the English version's Limited Edition release.
Let's get this straight. Japan doesn't get a Limited Edition, and the only pre-order bonus they get is a PS3 theme and only if they pre-order from Amazon.co.jp.
They do however get a Collector's Pack which costs ¥14,000 (approximately US$136.79) + tax. Other than some shiny packing, what do they get?
A Blu-ray Music Disc containing tracks from the series.
And Kingdom Hearts Visual Art Collection, a 30 page artbook.
Now let's get this straight as well. Remember that artbook we got with HD 1.5 ReMIX? Japan did NOT get it.
Also, Square Enix NA are still working on how they will have the HD 2.5 ReMIX Limited Edition packaged. They can still always announce another artbook if they wanted too. Especially since they want it to have a pretty much identical case style to 1.5.
And another thing. North America got an 80-page. Yes 80-page, artbook for Lightning Returns: Final Fantasy XIII and a Blu-ray Music Disc for Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster. Did anyone else get it? No. Did we go crying about it and start movements? No.
So in conclusion. Be grateful for what you have. You're finally getting the Final Mixes, you're getting these games fully remastered in HD. And as I said there could still be an artbook. And North America has gotten plenty of amazing things the rest of the world hasn't from Square Enix. So just be grateful, please.
