Posted August 7, 201411 yr Back in Kingdom Hearts 1 we had Trinities which were different colours, do you think we could have them back in Kingdom Hearts 3?
August 7, 201411 yr So long as they don't pull that stunt where if you miss one it will disappear along with the terrain like the Red Trinity at Oogie's Manor in the original PS2 version I don't wanna wait for Kingdom Hearts III Final Mix for them to remedy that (though they'd probably make a free DLC patch)
August 7, 201411 yr It had it's time in KH where they prove how much teamwork works but now we knew what is teamwork through the story and I don't think we need such thing, especially in pressured game with many other priorities and directions.
August 7, 201411 yr Don't really see the point. They were basically treasure chests, except with multiple items instead of one, and some you can't get before others.
August 7, 201411 yr Maybe. As long as they're better constructed, because let's be honest, most of the ones in KHI were kinda meh.
August 7, 201411 yr Fool. If they can make it where you can have anyone in your party for it to work, that'd be great.
August 8, 201411 yr Fool. If they can make it where you can have anyone in your party for it to work, that'd be great. Apple. In kh2 you can switch out party members basically anywhere without needing to go back to the save point, making that old inconvenience invalid.

An element that was only in KH2. It hasn't been in the game since. And since we're talking about game mechanics from KH1, the only game with trinities, I'd say the inconvenience is valid. Until it is fixed, really, the inconvenience will continue to be valid. It doesn't really matter what happened in KH2 since it didn't have trinities.
August 8, 201411 yr I hope so. If nothing else, it gives you a good reason to explore and revisit worlds.
August 8, 201411 yr They most likely will but not in the same way as KH1 had them. The trinity limit will most likely make a return in KH3 since it was in KH2 and Birth by Sleep. Instead of Sora Donald and Goofy it could be Sora Riku and Kairi who could preform it as well
August 8, 201411 yr That would be sweet. It would actually give a reason to go back and explore worlds you've already finished.

If Trinities return in KHIII, I don't think it'll be possible to lose them.

They have been used to experiment with different game mechanics for the series, to check and see what works and what they liked enough to incorporate in bigger title. Of course its still in an inconvenience in KH1, but I'm talking about KH3, assuming that if they decided to incorporate trinities again, that they would include the easy party switch, making it unnecessary to allow party members aside from goody and dogald to join in on the trinity.

Fool. We don't know if they would. They might change it, like they already did. The side games do count, because they've been experimenting for Kingdom Hearts 3.
