He thinks he's better than everyone because he's a liberal dumbass and thinks people enjoy his shitty classical music that no one cares about at all. Nearly all of his jokes are pop culture references, and what aren't pop culture references are immature toilet humor. I've enjoyed American Dad on occasion but that's about it. I enjoy Family Guy and American Dad, Ted was pretty good, but that Western parody movie was horrible. I'm looking forward to the Family Guy/Simpsons crossover episode though.
