Just as the title states, what is a true kh fan to you ? does it involve buying all the games including Japanese ones or knowing what goes on in the story ?

edit: im not saying anything about being a true fan but i know people who think they are more of a fan cuz they go out of their way to buy all the games and call themselves "true fans." Also they claim to know more about the game than alot of fans -.-

If you've played a KH game, read a KH manga, watched the cutscenes, or listened to the soundtrack, and you enjoyed it, then you are a fan, and that's all that matters.

There is no "True" way to be a fan of something: there is no "Right" or "Wrong" way to enjoy something, be it video game, movie series, book series, or anime.

Someone who is passionate about Kingdom Hearts. It doesn't matter how many games they own or buy; what matters is the message they get from playing Kingdom Hearts.

A true Kingdom Hearts fan is someone who has a love for the series.  It doesn't matter what skill level you are, and it doesn't matter how much or how little you know of the story, just the fact that you have a passion for these games is enough to label you a fan of the series.  True fans are the ones who get excited with each Kingdom Hearts game that comes out.  Heck, even just playing the games for the sake of reliving childhood Disney memories is enough to make you a fan.  And when we come down to it, the label "true fan" really doesn't hold much significance.  It's like being a "true Keyblade Master."  It's just a title, nothing more.  Look at Sora!  The guy has the skill of ten masters, and he doesn't have the title, and yet that doesn't make him a lesser Keyblade Wielder, no sir!  So yeah, in short, if you have even the slightest affection for this game series, that alone makes you a fan.  You don't have to be a "true fan" to appreciate a good video game series such as Kingdom Hearts. :)

Someone who wants the franchise to ditch the Disney, go edgy and be mature with lots and lots of death. Because apparently, that's what Kingdom Hearts should really be.

There is no such thing as a "true fan." No need to bring elitism into it.

Of course that's what it should be. It's what I think would be cool therefore everyone needs to agree that KH needs to be edgy and dark.
