Okay, am I the only one whose favorite world is Deep Jungle? I'm so mad they lost the rights to the world. It was filled with lush green environments as well as rocky terrains. You could swing on vines leading to a massive tree house overlooking the South African coast. The back drops were stunning. I would go to the top of the tree house just to gaze out into the atmosphere.

I see that a lot of people hate on this world, for what reason I don't know. The boss battle was fun and challenging. You can slide on trees with Tarzan...TARZAN!!! What else do you want?? He was also super helpful in combat.

That world to be in DDD. Deep Jungle + Flowmotion=super happy me

OH GAWD! That would be pretty awesome. I really wish they would try to acquire the rights again. I want to explore more of the jungle.

I dunno if it's my favorite, but I am super disappointed they lost the rights after KHI. Tarzan is my favorite film of the Disney Renaissance and it sucks that we can't go back to it now.

I really wished that they could have added Tantor and Mr Porter but now it's too late :/

I too miss Tarzan, but to inform on why people hate it is because they thought (and I can understand that, it's just I don't mind it) the story made you go back and forth through areas and that they were really confused on where to go as the story doesn't tell you your next destination most of the times.

tell the truth deep jungle is, together with agrabah, the world i most dislike.... but for a little of nostalgia i would liked to see it again...

the reason is because i don't really like the place, neither the minigame.... but yes the boss where cool xD  (sabor was really cool....a little annoying clayton and the other dude, but still good) so is just personal taste ;)

You are not alone, my friend: I myself have had a sweet spot for Deep Jungle and I too expressed how much I missed it not too long ago. Of course, I think only about five people remember that...

I liked everything but Jane: she seemed very... well..nothing. She was just there. And it could be confusing, but fun to explore, but that world takes up a lot of time, and if you fall of those stupid vines, you have to go through the climbing process all over again.

Not the best, not the worst.

Too bad they lost the rights.

There's just so much more they could've utilized with the world. They could've focused more on Kerchek and his wife mate...? (Can't think of her name...Kala?) Anyway, it sucks they rehash worlds like Agrabah and Halloween Town over and over, yet this was lost.

Dude...let's start a petition. Lol kidding. But I feel ya. The world was great to traverse through.

Yeah, the characters of Kerchak and Kala were basically reduced to wordless plot conveniences. I get why they did it, but it still sucks. I wouldn't mind as much if they continued it. I always wanted to see an episode of the amazing animated series adapted to Kingdom Hearts, but I guess it's just not to be.

I know! There's a few characters they forgot to use! It's not fair, the world had more potential.

Wonderland was far more confusing. And you go back and forth pretty much in all the worlds in KH1 xD. But I see where you're coming from with the lack of clues. I had to use my strategy book a few times.

But they were certainly challenging. At least Deep Jungle wasn't used OVER AND OVER like Agrabah, you know? It was fresh.

True. The vines were a little glitchy especially in the original PS2 game when you actually had to scroll down the command menu, Jane is probably the most bland character besides Santa Clause.

Hey, never say never. Did you think the 8 bit blocks of Final Fantasy 7 would have a two hour animated movie with beautiful graphics? None of us did. Maybe Nomura will consider a mini movie after the Xehanort Saga? Just a thought. You should start a topic on that...

Don't get me started on Santa Claus.....

It wasn't that the back and froth was so much confusing for me, that I recall, i just hated having to go back and forth. It felt tedious. Plus the swinging around and the mini-game just aren't my cup of tea really. Other than that, nothing super rememberable..it probably doesn't help that I had so much trouble with Stealth Sneak oto, xDD. If you love the world though, I respect that. -smiles-

well it was flesh 'cause on the lost copyright....or probablty it could appear in COM (there are some image about it too) and coded ;)

but maybe is for this long absence i would like to sya it again. and more then jungle , rock part, etc.... i would prefer a forest place for a "world full of green" (like the forest in twilight town, before reach the mansion :D ) anyway everyone their taste, i'm not gonna insult you 'cause of deep jungle xD

Don't think they didn't forget. I is just the style of creativity.

True but in its defence it's Wonderland, it's meant to be confusing. lol  xD

It's not tedious if you know the shortcuts ;) and you get "Cure" in that world. The key is to do that world last (within the four available) so the stealth sneak doesn't fart on ya.

I wouldn't hope you'd insult me for my personal tastes haha. But yeah I agree. i would hate the world in CoM, but we could've returned in KH2 to meet new characters and places.

Which was very limited :/

Exactly hahaha. Deep Jungle isn't supposed to be. It's really not that hard to figure out the different areas. People just have to remember.
