I really enjoyed the flowmotion controls in DDD and it adds a whole new mechanics in gameplay.

Now I know that time travel will very well be incorporated in KH3, but sleep has been used frequently in the series.

Post-CoM, Sora is required to SLEEP in order to retain his memories back. Then after the events of BBS, Ventus' body is in deep slumber and later we found out that his heart went into Sora. Again, SLEEP. Lastly, in DDD, Sora and Riku went to partake the Mark of Mastery Exam and they were put into SLEEP to unlock the SLEEPing keyholes and later Riku obtained Data-DiZ's data what could be either Tome of Prophecy or Key of Returning Hearts with the help of  the DREAM WORLD.

And also in order to time travel, you must leave your body behind and a version of yourself waiting in that time, meaning you have to be asleep. So it means DREAM WORLD (could be) A FACTOR!!!!!!.

Take note: Sora was sleeping in the very beginning of the series "Gimme a break, Kairi"...."Sora, you lazy bum"!!!!!!!

So what'd you all think? Will dream world make its return in KH3? Plus who wouldn't want this as a companion: Posted Image

Nah, the only thing well get closest to a dream state is Dive into the Heart...

Ugh but the Meow Wow is soooo Wuvable *u*

I had enough Dream Eaters in KH3D, they almost conquered the whole game. We couldn't have awesome tournaments because of Flick Rush (Dream Eaters), we didn't have awesome partners like Neku because of Dream Eaters, part of the game turned into Pokemon + Nintendogs because of Dream Eaters, command styles and trinity attacks depend on Dream Eaters, some rare command deck attacks are only available by Dream Eaters. I do understand that only Dream Eaters are available in dream worlds but still it doesn't mean to give them that much of care.Personally, I don't want to have Dream Eaters at all, they took their turn on 3D and even more. In addition, the purpose of going to dream worlds was to free these sleeping worlds from the deep darkness and this was already done. I don't see any point in going there again except as optional worlds or stories.

Ehhhhhhhhhhh

nah. No. Just nah.

I wonder if Nomura knows that quite alot of people don't find them interesting. I'm with those people.

I will be genuinely surprised if it isn't.

You know, you pose an actual good point here.  The series has dealt with a lot of sleeping, now that you mention it!  I'm guessing that if the dream world does appear in Kingdom Hearts III, it'll only be slightly, or perhaps for a small quarter of the game.  Whether the dream world will return or not is up to Nomura.  I'd be happy to have the dream world back, as long as it plays well into the story. :)

If any dream Worlds returned, they'd be active worlds this time I'd imagine. Even if there are new dream Worlds for some reason, i don't think Dream Eaters would be the partners in them.

I think you're looking into this WAAAAAAAY too deeply...  -.-

Anyway, The Realm of Sleep probably won't have much of anything to do with Kingdom Hearts III, but you never know. Who knows what crazy plans that Nomura's got cooking in his head right now?  :P
