has anyone else struggled with not playing kingdom hearts 2 to wait for 2.5?

ever since i heard kingdom hearts 2.5 would happen after 1.5 I've been eagerly waiting for 2 years to play my favorite game ever. i swore to myself i wouldn't play, watch , look at or even smell the case because of the temptation (don't judge me  it's been quite difficult to hold myself back since i beat kh1.5  so in order to keep myself from thinking about kh2 I've gone back to 1.5 for the trophies but Mr.Feel , Feelku and Feelgeta have been quite relentless as of late O.o have you guys had a similar experience?

Eh, I've been avoiding playing any of the included games (but I do plan on playing Re:Coded since the gameplay will be abscent), but I wouldn't say I've been suffering. If anything, I've been suffering not being able to play any PS3 games because my 60 GB PS3 is out of commission until I get a new one. So I'm more sad about that than anything else.

I've struggled with not playing it, but I haven't really.  I did play my completed file for about 5-10 minutes or something like that, but what I'm really craving is to start a new game.  I'm avoiding doing so because I want 2.5 to feel like a fresh experience.

You know something?  Last year I played Kingdom Hearts I, Re:Chain Of Memories and Days before 1.5 came out, and then I proceeded to play Birth By Sleep and Re:Coded when 2.5 was announced.  I was going to play Kingdom Hearts II, but since I lent it to a friend of mine, I haven't been able to do so.  And given that there's only about 40 or so days left for 2.5 to come out, I won't bother playing Kingdom Hearts II at this point.  I'll just wait for 2.5!

me too i'm doing the best for not reinstal the ps2 and play KH2.....even if i haven't resisted to do a play on BBS  but is some time i didn't play it (i finished aqua story and arrived at the keyblade graveyard with ven)

i try to not think too much of it and focus on try to get the platinum COM, do some progress on KH1FM play at lv1 or play others games

Sorta. I used to always boot up a new game every year or so at the end of summer vacation, just so I could synchronize my feels with Roxas' feels. I didn't do it last year because I was waiting for 1.5 (would have felt out of place to play 2 again before playing 1, which I hadn't in a while) although thanks to a move, I didn't get to that until December anyway.

 

Now I'm graduated and in-between jobs, so I'm in sort of a nebulous position where the feels wouldn't be quite as relatable. So I'm looking forward to playing 2.5 in December, where I think it will be most appropriate. I recently just went through and Platinum'd all of 1.5, so that helped take the edge off too.
