Comparing FFVI and FFVII is like comparing fine wines, they are both fantastic and deserve praise. But nowadays I find far too many people calling FFVII and overrated pile of shit.
FF7 is overrated? Oh, yes, I'm sure. Many people call FFVII the best game ever, and that's fine for them. Many people also call FFVI the best game ever, so it seems pretty hypocritical to hate one for being overrated and then calling the other the best game ever.Isn't hating FFVII overrated at this point? These days I find WAY more people bitching about how bad FFVII is than I find fans of it. That is sad. FFVII deserves its praise because it was not only incredibly important in the Western popularity of RPG games, but because of how massive it was in scale. FFVII was one of the main factors in the Playstation's success, its graphics were fantastic for its time, its story was epic and interesting full of twists and turns, and it was just great fun. Opinions will be opinions and if YOU didn't think it was fun then that's fine, but trying to deny its deserving of its praise is just downright unintelligent. I sometimes even see people who go so far as to say that FFVII is the worst FF game/Worst game ever. Really guys?
Kefka and Sephiroth are both equally insane and the fact that Kefka destroyed the world whereas Sephiroth didn't is an awful excuse. Completely different universes and circumstances. Please stop using the Kefka vs. Sephiroth argument -_-.
