I know that Pete is working with Maleficent because he has a debt to pay and also because he has nothing else to do with his life then to cause trouble. But I can't take this out of my head... they way they sometiems talk... seems kind different? Maleficent does often insults Pete for his bad job, but instead of actually harming him she just keeps on annoying him. Pete gets all sad when he fails and all. I mean, there's moments when Maleficent wants Pete to join up on her new "castle". I can totally see something goin' on when you see the cutscenes of Pete in the 30s World -- the black and white level.

I dunno.

I'm not pairing them for Kingdom Heart's sake xD

It's just something random that popped in my head xD

I absolutely believe that the only reason Maleficent keeps Pete around is because he's great in bed.

OMG xD

Well if anyone reads the manga of Kingdom Hearts II, you'll notice that they are a bit more "intimate" somehow xD

Definitely more hints than in the game, but it's all for funs, I couldn't imagine a Maleficent/Pete pairing xD

Really? o.O

Like what?

This is like the most impossible pairing in existence

They seem to care more for each other than the game shows :)

Especially in the 1000 Heartless Saga, Pete saves her life, even after Maleficent fired him, saying something in the lines of "I'm not much withouth her" xD

You really have to read the manga to understand this, it's only in about 2 to 3 chapters though, so it won't take long to read xD

They should make babies!

Thatd would be... a nightmare. Kitties mixed with a green human-like horned woman...

It would be magical ;)

Well, he's got a very wide tongue, I'm sure that will come in handy...

I'm gonna stop thinking about this.

Hah. Reading that sure was fun. I love how well Pete and any characters are drawn. They really match their original style.

And did Maleficent said "oh shit"? Wut...

I'm glad I have a cold.. I can't think straight enough to imagine a BDSM relationship.

The "Oh s***" part must have been a translating issue :/

In the original version (JPN), she must have said the exact same thing, but the translators probably didn't find the right word to replace it, so they went with the litteral translation :/

I guess. There's lots of spelling mistakes. Also, do you read it from left - right or right- left?

All Kingdom Hearts manga (With the exception of Kingdom Hearts I) are read in the original format of manga: from right to left :)

Maleficent and Pete's relationship is a bit of a strange one. Maleficent keeps Pete around primarily because she needs someone to lord over. One of her main motivations in life is to be feared and respected by all, but, as we see in KH2, none of the other villains even bothered to show up to greet her when she was revived. The only person she really has in the world is Pete, and even though she keeps threatening to fire him, she ultimately needs to have him around if only to have someone she can claim superiority over, and have them worship her. For Pete, he wants to get back that same kind of respect and admiration he had when he was still a steam boat captain, and having failed to get it with his own bullying, he's put his stock in someone with great power in hopes that, if only by association, people will think of him as something to be taken seriously again. Which, in fact, it has: in BBS, Pete's appearances in Disney Town are shrugged off and ignored. After joining with Maleficent, even if he doesn't cause a lot of long term damage, Pete is still treated as a threat again, and someone to be taken seriously.

So the two of them both get what they want out of the other, lending itself to why their relationship has lasted as long as it has.

Jeez... they should take some vacations and rest up. That's what they really need.

I wonder if Maleficent really got what she wanted... a castle xD

Lol, I thought I was the only one who noticed how close they were in the manga. xD. And quite frankly, I think they're adorable together! <3
