OH! I saw it as gold and white when I first clicked the link Deadpool posted... But now I see it as black and blue again...

Dammit I was just about to post this lol! It has to do with color constancy our eyes will perceive it a certain color based on the lighting.

To me that is clearly black and blue. I'm straining my eyes to see how anyone could see it as white and gold, and I'm not seeing it.

Like blue is kind of understandable because of lighting but where is black coming from?

It's black and blue. Personally, I really don't see how it can be seen as white and gold anyway

I saw this image a short while ago. I saw it as black and blue and could absolutely NOT see the white. Now I look at it as a larger image and I can see the white and gold. I dunno, is it the fact that it's bigger and I can see more detail? 

I think this dress was made by wizards who like to mess with people's minds...

I did the color check, and it was a light blue based on what pixlr's editor says.

 

Eyes lie, yes. I doubt the computers lying.

I just did some checking on the trims color, and pixlr is saying it's a light grey in the yellow/orange area of the color spectrum. Contrast 40 gives me a darker grey, or really just black.

 

But either way, color checking says it's neither white, or gold, but is close to both.

EDIT: ALSO. I turned off all the lights where I am. Blue and black. Lights on, screen at max brightness - light blue and grey.

I used to see white and gold, but checking the picture three hours later I now see blue and black.Also the dress is blue and black on Amazon, they also have it in red, pink, and white... though they all have black trim
