Vox 94 Posted March 13, 2015 Getting straight into the topic, it was stated Sora will be the most mobile he's ever been in KH3 - correct? Now most of us probably just assumed that meant improved and tweaked flowmotion. And of course there's been small evidence drive forms would return in the 2.5 Launch Event footage. However I think just mixing together growth abilities and flowmotion into one big thing isn't enough to put Sora at his full potential. You know how Valor Form and Master Form had Sora run faster? How Wisdom and Final Form had Sora float at easy with the ability named "Mobile Action?" I believe to have Sora be the most mobile he can be in KH3, those abilities should be allowed to be unlocked and equipped onto Sora. That's right, when leveling up all his drive forms and flowmotion to the max and the player reaches level 99, Sora should be an unstoppable beast. Here's the thing though, Sora should be mobile in both movement and combat. Now I don't know if Square would go as far to give base Sora dual wielding, but his combos should be expanded upon where he's dealing some drive-reminsicent finishers onto enemies. Now what was the one Drive form Sora did this without two keyblades? That's right, Anti Form. Now keep anti form an accidental trigger like in KH2 except this time add a level up system. It's ability will be an offensive move that allows Sora to release a sphere like attack around surrounding enemies, like his Anti Form finisher. Now obtaining things like the Valor/Master Run or Mobile Action should be obtained through growth abilities. In addition to the growth abilities from the forms like High Jump, Quick Run, Dodge Roll, Aerial Dodge and of course, Glide, leveling up your drive will also give you a second ability once you hit a certain level. Example: Leveling up Wisdom form to level 5 will get you Level 2 Quick Run and Level 1 Mobile Action. To get the maximum Mobile action you'd have to max out both Wisdom and Final Form. Same concept with the Jog/Run for Valor/Master. That's all I really have for now, but what do you guys think? Would you enjoy seeing a fully mobile Sora you earned in KH3 after leveling up to 99 that can get from point a to point B in seconds? That can wipe out Heartless enemies without breaking a sweat? Of course this would mean Drive forms would be even greater than they were in KH2 to keep some incentive in using them. 2 The_eternal_nothing and Deadpool reacted to this
Forever 3,550 Posted March 13, 2015 I think by mobile, they meant more skateboards.
hatok 6,413 Posted March 13, 2015 just give Sora parkour instead 3 PillowHead, Silent and Kittenz reacted to this

Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted March 13, 2015 I still find it amazing that they manage to reduce Sora to LV 1 in every game, but with a bit more mobility each time. I mean, LV 1 KHII Sora would kick LV 100 KH Sora's arse just because he's really slow in that one. Peace!

Yuya Sakaki 5,212 Posted March 13, 2015 DDD Sora was a step backwards thoughI haven't played DDD, but that Flowmotion mechanic is way too OP for its own good.Peace!
Isamu Kuno 2,512 Posted March 13, 2015 (edited) I'm not worried, at one point they said that his mobility was so high that he was nearly untouchable so they actually had to nerf his mobility going forward. Edited March 13, 2015 by Isamu_Kuno

Hero of Light XIV 2,381 Posted March 13, 2015 Hmmm, not bad not bad. But that's not nearly enough! He should also have the ability to run up, down, and along walls like in Deep Dive and the Xemnas battle as well as some more parkour-esqe scaling moves to scale walls. Maybe those kinds of moves can be activated when using either of those secondary growth abilities you mentioned. Also more unique moves and commands like those seen in Birth by Sleep and Dream Drop Distance, like Riku's Dark Barrier and Sora's Slide Roll. Not to mention the practically confirmed Flowmotion, and I would love to see the Reaction Commands make a comeback. Basically, I'm hoping that this game will be the equivalent of an overly stuffed sausage threatening to burst at the seams, without ever bursting. And no, I'm actually being serious here. I'm not like the other guys here, I'm not being sarcastic either. I'm just seriously that over-hyped, which as far as I care, is a good thing. And for the record, OP IS FUN! WHOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!! outbackjim21 83 Posted March 13, 2015 OP can still be good, but flowmotion is a combination of OP and not very fun to useAs much as I hate flowmotion, DDD's sora would probably wreck KH2 sora. Flowmotion being as OP as it is giving sora enhanced speed,d evasiveness, and power in extremely short burst, combined with the fact that DDD's sora can use deck commands which are,in my opinion, signs that you are using the keyblade the way a master would. even final form probably wouldn't be able to stand up to it....limit form on the other hand...maybe
