I've been hearing that Cindy,the female "Cid" for FFXV,is the daughter of the actual Cid. Can someone please explain that to me? Because we have a lot of Cids and I don't know which one is the father of that fine lady

I'm gonna go with.... Cid from XII.

Which also makes her Balthier's brother.

 

There is probably two "Cids" in the game.

Cindy/Cidney (the female mechanic) and Cid (the father of Cindy, possibly a male mechanic).

So definitely Cid from VII.

I wonder why they changed her name for the English versions. Cidney is a perfectly reasonable name, just usually spelled differently.

Maybe because Cidney would be close to Kidney?

I thought they replaced Cid until she said "Paw-paw" and Ignis mentioned Cid.

No wonder why the devs were sketchy.

Hope it's the Cid from FF7...because then we might see Cindy in Kingdom Hearts 3
