Hell yeah :D

Sure, I'll keep an eye on it, but if I don't like what I see or if I feel the series is overstaying its welcome (something that tends to happen with many long-lasting franchises, and an absolute killer for story-heavy ones), then I probably won't feel obligated to stay. I already have doubts for the post-KH3 games. One saga took, what, seven games so far? (Twice that if you count the remakes and Final Mixes.) I don't think Nomura planned to stretch it out across so many games, but I don't have much faith he learned from some of the mistakes he made during this saga -- mainly how he wrote by the seat of his pants, coupled with developmental-decision-things-I-don't-know-business-gaiz throwing a wrench into his plans. Who's to say the next saga won't be a repeat of this?

Buuut if it's interesting enough, sure, I'll stick around.

It's really going to depend on how well KH3 works for me. BBS and DDD kind of broke a lot of my faith as far as the direction that the series was heading in, but if KH3 can get things back on track, I'd be willing to forgive and forget.

It depends on what end they give to KH3, it's relation with the older KH games... But I doubt I will stop playing KH games.

I feel the exact way. When i found out kh3 gameplay is suppose to be similar to DDD gameplay i cringed. :/

As one of 3 people who say I'm not going to follow the series after 3, here's why: I'm tired of waiting for KH III. My guess is they're gonna take a LOOOONG break after 3 and KH IV will go down the same unfortunate road Duke Nukem did. Shit, I'm scared KH 3 is gonna be a disappointment thanks to my high expectations that have been getting higher with each passing second.

Of course! I shall follow the Kingdom Hearts series forever!

Kingdom Hearts will be like Pokemon for me, I will stand by it until the day it all ends, and even if I die I will come back as a ghost to keep up with the series! Kingdom Hearts will not end for me until it has reached its true end! :)

I'm not sure since it takes a million years to make a core Kingdom Hearts game, so I might stop after kingdom hearts 3 is out.

I'll probably try KHIV by the time it comes out, but if I don't like that, then I'll be done. :/ I'm already starting to lose interest in the storyline of the series (I love DDD's gameplay, which is enough for me to say it's one of my favorites, but the story was plain ridiculous), and it's getting to the point where I'm not as interested in newer games. I don't even care about III that much at the moment. So, if I end up not liking III or IV, I'll probably be done with the series right there.

It depends on what happens in KH3. If Sora and Kairi don't at least get their guts up and confess their feelings for and to each other, I'm done*is dead serious*

Romance between original characters would possibly make me quit the series.

As much as i love Kingdom Hearts, im not sure if i would keep up with the series after KH3. It would depend on what the story after KH3 has in store and how the series is evolving in gameplay.

But if Sora stops being the maincharacter in core Kingdom Hearts titles im definitely done with post-KH3 titles.

'til the day I die

ah who am I kidding, I'll still be playing KH in the afterlife

Welp, I've been a fan of this series for 10+ years, I don't see the harm in giving it another decade. X3

Oh don't worry, Nomura will die long before you... Hopefully... Unless you're in your fifties.

I got caught up in the moment. I apologize. I should've said, "till the very end", but I meant what I said.

Heck yeah!

Kingdom Hearts has been an important part of my childhood, and pretty much my current life right now, and I just love the series to death, so of course I'll keep being a loyal follower after the Xehanort Saga ends!  After all, for every end, there's a new beginning!  There's no way I'm going to stop being a Kingdom Hearts fan!  I'll support this amazing video game series until the very end! :')

Even when that romance has been implied since the beginning of the series?

Just because it's been implied doesn't mean I have to like it. Since it's never gone very far in past games, it didn't bother me... too much. I wouldn't enjoy seeing the romance actually become official at all. I personally believe that Kingdom Hearts isn't the sort of series that needs romance. Despite those few hints that have been made throughout the series, it's never been prominent. I wouldn't like it becoming prominent. Of course, people feel a need to make a big deal out of me simply not wanting romance in a series that's never been about romance outside of the Disney characters.

It seems like it would fit to me. I mean the first game was basically Every Disney Movie Ever. Sure later games focused more on action, but it's Disney.

And I don't think it would fit at all. Sora suddenly acting super romantic would feel really out of place.

He doesn't have to get all mushy, just at least admit how he feels to her face.

Which would require him to act romantic, which I would not like to see.

I guess it wouldn't be as bad if it happened at the end of the game. Then I wouldn't need to have a romance subplot shoved down my throat as I play an action game.

That all we need. All the set up is already done.
