Should it? Most games today allows players to play through the entire game as a different character. Should KH3 have that option?

don't really care either way, but time spent on making Roxas is time not spent making Sora good. I'll settle for a Roxas costume

On the topic of playing as multiple characters, I'm gonna have to disagree with it. Numbered titles of the Kingdom Hearts series have only had Sora as a playable character and I want that trend to stay. But Nomura can pull anything out of his arse so we'll wait and see.

 

Although, I personally want to play as Kairi for the tutorial part of the game, similarly to how we played as Roxas in Kingdom Hearts II.

They should make Dual Wield Roxas playable, if not then at least have him Triple-wield or Quad-wield Roxas :biggrin:

Roxas already had his limelight in 358/2 days and though parts of his story are left mysterious, I feel Sora needs to take the reigns in KH3 and do some self....er, heart reflecting/discovery or whatever and figure out a way to overcome the dark and doubtful parts within himself and save Roxas and the rest of the crew. Maybe a Roxas story can be a DLC or something along with some others, but, honestly, I'd be happy with just a costume. 

Gimme the best character in the series

I'd rather a Riku mode... Kind of how Reverse rebirth was.... Roxas may play a huge role in the series but he still does not really need a full other story or "mode" for KH3... In my opinion.

Instead of having a Roxas mode, I'd rather have the normal mode, with multiple playable characters, including Roxas. Kingdom Hearts 3 people! Come on!

No. I don't think this would work. While many of the characters have their parts to play in the story, I think it would end up distracting us from the main story involving Sora and would create too many loose ends. The story is already so complicated, having it follow multiple characters would cause more problems and many of the characters aren't as important to the story as they used to be.

you mean as in have you play as Roxas during the beginning of the game? sure, but you'd just be walking around in Sora's insides for a few hours

 

you mean as a tutorial thing? I'm kind of expecting it, whether it be in the form of a prologue-ish thing with Xehanort and Eraqus as kids or in present day with Kairi. though there's always the chance they could just jump into the action with Sora.

Square Enix and Disney could feel money hungry and implement DLC quests for Roxas, Riku, Aqua and Lea (kind of like the secret episodes in Birth By sleep).
