So, I'm sure we're all aware of all the glitches that are in 1.5 and ESPECIALLY 2.5. But KH 2.5 needs a PS4 port more than KH 1.5 for loads of reasons. Those reasons being the crappy loading times, missing sound affects, random game crashes, and good fights getting completely ruined because of said issues. Because of these reasons, KH 2.5 (and 1.5) in my opinion needs to be ported to PS4 to fix these issues that have only seemed to be aparent in HD KH2FM since there doesn't seem to be any issues with HD BBSFM (unless someone wants to prove me wrong) like with Final Fantasy X/X-2 HD Remaster that got ported to PS4. Just look at this video to see what I'm talking about.

 

 

 

Now I know that people are getting tired of all these ports that this generation of gaming is on. But KH 1.5 and 2.5 needs a PS4 badly to fix these issues since Square-Enix has shown no interest in patching their HD games. So porting them to a new next-gen system would be the next best thing for SE. But what are your thoughts to a KH 1.5 and 2.5 PS4 port?

I'm pretty sure that ports for the ReMixes will be announced by Square at this year's E3, because think about it.  It would be somewhat odd for KHIII to be the only KH game available for the PS4.  I'm pretty sure that the ReMixes will be ported, and if it's not done this year, then they'll probably release them next year.

Honestly, due to all these problems that both 1.5 and 2.5 has, they NEED a PS4 port so that the issues on the PS3 version can be fixed. It's due to these reasons why speedrunners highly prefer to speedrun PS2 KH2FM to the HD version. So if SE were smart, they'd announce one and say let fans know that they will fix the issues on PS3 version. Like with what they did with the FF XV episode duscae demo.

They will probably also include Dream Drop Distance in some kind of form if they do port it to the PS4 and most likely the XBox One as well.  I never personally ran across any of these glitches or bugs besides how long it takes to get into a drive form if you don't pause the game (and a few small ones in 1.5 but thank god it wasn't when I was recording it for my Let's Play).  But I wouldn't want to get them again even if it was for the PS4 but if that is going to be the only way to get Dream Drop Distance as a fully playable game I probably will get it then, but if Dream Drop Distance is only going to be cutscenes then I will probably not get it, hopefully at E3 we get something

Almost none of these issues would be addressed in a PS4 port. Especially not the loading times, that jsut comes with the technology

I really need PS4 ports. With no PS3, I'm struggling to keep myself from spoiling myself to the amazingness of the HD Remakes. As SpongeBob would say...

I'm not really concerned with the glitches (because I rarely even get them on my end), I just want to play the ReMixes alongside KH3. lol

I know this probably won't happen, but if 1.5 and 2.5 were to be ported on the PS4, I would want RE:Coded and 358/2 Days remade into actual games. This was supposed to happen in 1.5 with Days, but it didn't happen due to time constraints.

I agree. They need to fix those issues and a port would be great. As much as I love the remixes they disappointed me in a few areas. The glitches were one of them but what really bothered me was that they kept the puppet face cutscenes. I mean come on, they could have totally made all the cutscenes the standard ones. In khfm in 1.5 there is a scene where Kairi in the background is talking but her mouth is closed and not moving.... Some of the textures weren't updated as well. Against Darkside in khfm his attack where he fires beams from his chest, the energy in his chest is totally pixelated! So I hope by getting a ps4 upgrade they address these issues though I sort of doubt it.

 

One of the things I think they will do is announce a kh3d remix as part of the 1.5 and 2.5 ports. It wouldn't make sense to release it as a standalone so I'm guessing they'd probably bundle it in. But that's just my hope anyway.....

I'm believing they will do that, seeing some of their recent remasters are getting ported over.

All glitches could have been fixed if SE patched the games but I don't think they ever made a single patch. 

Also the loading times would be much shorter if the games had an install option.

I honestly never experienced any of these issues and the load times never bothered me.

So there is something wrong with the Xemnas final fight after all.I knew it wasn't that hard in the original,I died so many times during that fight,I though I was doing something wrong,but turns out its a glitch.

Alright smart alec, Traverse Towns, Country of Musketeers and the Fantasia world can work fine. The rest as you said do need a screen to do the shift but that doesn't mean Square is incapable of adjusting it for a HDTV + the PS4. I mean if you just want boring cutscenes, the feature is gonna have to be implanted someway...

I don't know. Square did have the audacity to release Type-0 HD as a $60 game. The standard is there now. They might just do up DDD with DX11 effects and call it a day

I have my doubts if KH3 really is going to be released in 2016 then PS4 ports will have a small chance.

And 3D need to come as well on PS4.

They really need to rid of the censorship. Rid of the glitches and bring back everything uncensored that was present in the original Jap KH2 and BBS

For the people who are on the boat of 'I don't have a PS3 anymore so I can't play the KH remix' I would seriously look into emulating the game. Mid range computers could easily pull off K2 (i5) and even lower can pull off BBS. The settings then can be changed to achieve PS3 graphics... And if your PC can handle it... even better. You don't even need a full blown gaming PC
