Well, Now that we saw to Eraqus when he was younger, now I have a question about Yen Sid, according to the story, he, Eraqus and Xehanort were partners to become Keyblade Masters but he retired his Mastery, Do we have a possibility to see a Young Yen Sid in Kingdom Hearts III? Maybe that couldn't be part of the Disney Canon but maybe for the Kingdom Hearts Story...

That's honestly a tricky one... I'm going to play it safe and say no. That's only because Yen Sid is such an iconic Disney character that they wouldn't have another form of him just for Kingdom Hearts. I love the idea but I honestly think that this just may not happen.

I think that would be pretty neat, actually I'd like for that to happen, but I'm also doubtful it will because I can't see Disney changing up a character as iconic as Yen Sid just for Kingdom Hearts. Maybe at best we'll get references to him when he was training alongside Eraqus and Xehanort, but I don't think we'd actually see him as his younger self, sadly. 

I think the X on his chest is misplaced as he hasn't been 'chosen' by Xehanort. I like the picture, though.

I saw it on Tumblr! And I honestly think that it'd be pretty awesome and funny to see them together. I mean, the backstory of Xehanort, Eraqus and Yen Sid is some good material down there for some cool cutscene in KH3 or for an entire new game lmao

Nah. He probably was kicking butt when those 2 were younger, because we all know he retired at some point.

That was a really sick picture, I would really like to see all three of them training together, I'm pretty sure kingdom hearts has gotten so big that Disney would let them have some creative freedom to make a younger version. Also who is their master? Any ideas?

I can't see it happening . Yen Sid is a little bit of an iconic Disney figure . He's known as an old, experienced magician , not a kid that grew up just to become a Keyblade Master .

Honestly, I personally believe they would not make Yen Sid younger.

 

They may have done that with Zack, Tidus, Seifer, Wakka and Selphie, but they are originally square's property but when it comes to stuff that originally belongs to Disney, they generally stick to the ages they were in the movie.

 

I think the only reason they showed Herc when he was younger was because of the fact that in his movie it does show him younger.

That makes me curious, how much of an influence would the female member be to Xehanort's ambitions?

If young Yen Sid is in it he needs to have some stubble on his face where that glorious beard will one day be.
