At the end of Dream Drop Distance, Young Xehanort told Riku that they were looking for a new vessel to take over. Their first pick was Riku, then Roxas, and Sora. But before Xehanort took over Sora body, Lea saved Sora from being a vessel. Organization of Xehanorts told Riku and Mickey that they will fight each other in the battle of darkness and light, while looking for a new vessel. Who's gonna be Xehanort brand new vessel? We know that Final Fantasy and Disney characters aren't gonna be vessels since FF characters are just there for fan service. While Disney aren't gonna let their characters be a cold blooded villain. Most logical vessel would be a original character from the Kingdom Hearts franchise. But who? For a logical vessel, the character must be close to Sora or his friends. It mostly likely not Hayner, Pence, and Olette. They're barely friends with Roxas or Sora. The only time they ever help the main character was to lead the newly awaken Sora out of the virtual Twilight Town. They weren't even the real Hayner, Pence, and Olette. They were fake virtual copies sent by DiZ to help Sora out. The most likely vessel would be Lea or Kairi. Why? While Lea is a keyblade wielder, we know that Lea would do anything to bring his best friend, Isa, from the darkness. Even if becoming a vessel for Xehanort to take over. (Which I believe that might happen if Xehanort and Lea made a trade where, Lea has to take Isa place so Isa would be free.) And the other mostly likely vessel would be Kairi. Xehanort knows how much Sora loves Kairi. Making Kairi a vessel is a great idea since we know that Sora wouldn't hurt Kairi at all. (Even if she's Xehanort vessel.) Xehanort would see this as a chance to kill Sora once and all. Of course, unless Riku drops in and defeat her. (Because Riku doesn't give a care about Kairi at all.)

Who do you think will become Xehanort new vessel?

One thing's fore sure, you can always count on Flaming Lea.

The answer to Xehanort's problems would be the Gigai, developed by Soul Society's research team. An artificial soulless body that can take the form of the soul that inhabits it. Think of it as an empty shell with no soul but when you 'plug' a soul or a heart into it...Xehanort would be thrilled to use those I'd imagine

1. Can't be Kairi bc you pretty much need the person consumed by darkness to involuntarily nort them.

 

2. Riku doesn't care about Kairi what ? That doesn't make sense.

 

3. Why would Lea need to trade himself to save Isa? That also makes no sense. He became a wielder to help save his friends and that serves no purpose whatsoever and makes no sense. Isa has his heart being consumed by Xehanort. Norty can't just be like "Here Isa/Saix good boy go home now I can use someone else who has already proven to plan against me on numerous occasions and is out to destroy me and my evil plans" lolz There was a reason Axel wasn't a good choice and a failed vessel for the org the first time around..Isa/Saix can be saved other more successful ways.

I presume it'll be Luxord. Why? because he was not norted in Kingdom Hearts (from what we've seen) and yet his supposed dice are revealed to be one of the pieces. Luxord does gamble on his fate so I guess there's that to consider as-well (alongside the fact that he apparently has powers of time).

I'm starting to think more and more that Luxord might actually be one of the 'norts. However, I'm still not convinced. It would make more sense for him to use cards as his symbol, since that's his weapon. Only thing I can remember that involved him and dice was during his fight with Sora.

You know, this is a very interesting topic you pose here, and I hadn't given thought to this!  It is true that Xehanort is one vessel short!  Hmm, well, for all we know, the remaining vessel could be a completely new character, or, for all we know, Xehanort could probably take another crack at trying to make Sora a vessel! There's no telling what might happen!

Well, in argument, the somebody symbol and the nobody symbol may be different for each character. For instance, Saix is represented by his Claymore symbol whilst Isa is represented by a crescent moon on his chess piece.

Vanitas may have already been a revived member before Xehanort chose Sora (remember Vanitas reacting to Ventus in Dream Drop Distance?).

That is still in Sora's memory from Ventus heart. Yeh he might probably revive when Ventus will wake up.

What about Eraqus him self?.I see him joining as a darkness. If Eraqus will revive probably only Xehanort can do that with Terranort.

Eraqus is light obsessed and his soul remains in Terra. Eraqus himself wouldn't be a worthy candidate because Xehanort wiped him out.

That is what I'm saying. His soul may probably be in Terranort.

I would say anything can happen when Xehanort revives Eraqus.
