I had a thought. What if the final battle is a lot like the Showdown at Hollow Bastion in Kingdom Hearts II where you switch party members? For example, one second you'd fight with Aqua, then Terra, then Riku, and so on. (And kairi.) then, the battle between Sora and Master Xehanort would be a solo fight? It would make sense since in the KH3 trailer, the chess pieces for Sora and MX are head to head while the other pieces are standing nearby, facing others.

Many on this site would disagree with you, even saying that Sora shouldn't get the last hit. 

I really like the idea of switching members, but not just party member, I would also love switching playing other characters in one big fight.But like @Sorarocks93 said; I rather see someone else giving the finale slap then Sora.

I want Sora to deal the final blow to Xehanort. I swear to God however, if SE pull an Avatar: The Last Airbender.... 

i liked the way the Hollow Bastion sequence played out for the most part so I wouldn't mind something inspired by that for KH3.

i typically imagine the fight would go down inside Kingdom Hearts with the fight starting out as a 1 on 1 between Sora and Xehanort. As the battle progresses and you wear down Xehanort's health to certain points, important characters like the seven Guardians of Light will join in the fray. It wouldn't really be them, but I guess you could say that through their connections with Sora they are able to project themselves to his side and aid him in the final fight. 

They'd do this one by one (maybe a few come in pairs for the sake of not dragging things out) and after a while Sora and whoever is with him could do some sort of finisher move that initiates the next phase of the fight. Maybe have the background change around a bit to resemble locations that are iconic with the memories of whoever is fighting alongside Sora too.

After all that it comes back down to a 1 on 1 between Sora and Xehanort. As the player is about to deliver the final blow, Sora calls upon the bonds he shares with those tied to his heart, summoning their keyblades which manifest around him (in a pattern similar to Ventus' WingBlade command style from BBS I guess). He charges at Xehanort, followed by the keyblades of those connected to him and together they all deliver the final blow. 

How about every character will participate constantly in one big, awesome fight against Xehanort and he kicks everyone's ass until Sora is left alone in desperation.

Well, Ventus, Terra, and Aqua are going to deliver the final blow since they were the first ones to fight him and sacrificed themselves for the light's protection. Sora will wear him down before hand.

I know Sora is our boy and everything, but I seriously hope the final battle isn't just Sora defeating every single seeker of darkness, otherwise the other 6 seem redundant. In order for a realistic sense, allow each member to fight their own ' personal fight' or if people find the idea of Ven vs Vanitus dull again, have Ven vs Riku Replica etc to spices a few things up. I believe everybody should shine ( pun not intended) and the worst case scenario would be seeing battles in cut scenes and not being able to actively participate

That could be a really cool concept!  Like the Hollow Bastion Battle, but beefed up by 10 times, and with even more epic proportions!  I gotta say though, each of the 7 and 13 battling each other will be obvious worthy battles to fight, so I'm guessing that we could get a boss fight for each guardian, ya know? As for Xehanort, I really don't know if Sora will be the one to end it all.  I feel Terra should be the one to deal the final blow, but at the same time, I want Sora to be the one! Ugh, I'm so conflicted! X_X

Wht i really want to see is sora , riku and terra defeating xehanort seperated from everybody else possibly in another dimension.

Sora vs. Xehanort. That's how I want it to end.
