Kingdom Hearts III Has Increased Volume Material?

Featured Replies

yea i'd imagine with all the loose ends nomura has to tie up we should be getting a fairly huge game. sounds good, sure.

but the question is will we be able to make sense of any of it or will we be left scratching our heads so much that we break the skin and begin to lose large amounts of blood

It'd have to be pretty long because there's searching to be done, lost people to recover, and a war to fight. Basically Sora and co. have ALOT on their plate to accomplish. xD

Peace!

This is seriously going to be the game of the year when it's released, can't wait for this, we are going to have so much fun!

The faster I am able to play as Sora in Kingdom Hearts III, the better. Plus Aqua deserves her only little side game after BBS, so this is perfect for that.

Well, it being the longest in the series is pretty much a given considering it being on a new console and just another numbered and much expected game in the franchise. Now if it's just one world longer or 5 than KH2 remains to be seen.

This "increased content" better confirm second world returns.

I was thinking about this concept, but there are many ways I could go about responding to your post xD

If the worlds are giant, I'm just going to estimate 1 hr 30 minutes each for the story alone on standard mode, should we really need to re-visit?

Say we have 20 worlds (7+13, SE always do these types of cheeky things) and each is around 1.5 hours, that's 30 hours approximately (of course everyones play time will differ).

SO 30 hours for just doing the story of 20 Disney worlds.

The beginning of the game is supposedly a Xehanort and Eraqus prequel kind of. Nomura said recently, the 0.1 is going to be in KH3. 0 is CHI or Unchained X.

(In the trailer, Xehanort referred to the Keyblade War as 'ancient' so of course Xehanort was born after it. That's obvious)

We still have to find Aqua in the ROD (We're almost guaranteed to play as Riku, even if its only a short segment) this isn't going to be smooth sailing, the SOD are going to try to interrupt.

Then go to Castle Oblivion, find Ventus, this isn't going to be a walk in the park either, there's gonna be SOD here trying to mess things up.

Then the final battle, plus there's going to be a ton of other events that may surprise us and throw us off task.

Secret bosses, we're going to want to visit the worlds for treasures again also will take up time.

The fact the game is a numbered title and the Linkedn leak justify how gummi ship missions are going to return. The Linkden leak also hinted that multiplayer may be included in KH3, so that's going to add even more time.

2.8 was true, so its safe to say the leak was fairly legit.

Plus a lot more we don't know about... KH3 doesn't need re-visits. It's going to be at least 45 hours on standard mode if you just want to complete the story.

If it adds to extra development time, I am not exactly in bed with the extra material, seeing as it's already moved to 2016 at the earliest.

If it needs to be polished, take all the time you need, SE, but please, do not let KH3 come out in 2018 and later.

It was probably to help factor in all this Chi stuff since it's supposed to very important in the storyline for KH3.

It's not surprising that KH3 would be the longest title of them all (as well as the fairest). The left over 0.1 that is not covered in 2.8 will be covered in 3. No that does not mean it should be called Kingdom Hearts 3.1 for anyone who is getting any ideas. KH3 will have a ton of material to cover. I mean for goodness sake, the Foretellers have a role in KH3 which means everything that is affiliated with them will be covered. This game will be very, very long.

I hope so! The longer, the better!

Amen to that, brother! :D

Haha, well, we can only hope that Kingdom Hearts III will give us more answers than questions! :3

This was inevitable and the more the merrier!

Hell yeah!  That's the spirit of things! :D

That is true, and I'm sure all the characters are gonna get some good development, so that's gonna be good to see, too! :D

Oh hell yes, it'll be the game of the year...no, the game of the generation!  Square's gonna make serious cash with this game! X_X

Gahhh, yes, and we'll finally have Donald and Goofy as party members again!  I've missed that so much! D:

Well, we can only hope that the game is jaw droppingly amazingly long, and I got a good feeling that's gonna be the case! :3

OH YES PLEASE, THIS HAS TO BE A DEFINITE YES!!!! X_X

Holy crud, you make such a good point!  And it all makes me that much more hyped to have Kingdom Hearts III!  I still want second world visits though, lol. X3

There is so much left over to explain of the story.  Of course it has to be increased.

And hopefully, we'll see everything concerning this saga resolved! :)

I'm pretty sure that the game will come out in 2017, since that's when the KH series reaches it's 15th Anniversary, and I'm pretty sure Square's gonna celebrate said Anniversary with the release of KHIII! :D

Ah yes, the Foretellers and Book Of Prophecies are indeed important elements to the story of KHIII! :O

YES, AND WE SHALL LOVE EVERY SINGLE BIT OF THE GAME TO ITS FULLEST! :D

THE HYPE IS REAL, PEOPLE!!!! :D

I loved second world visits. Sure, usually the second visit is nothing more than filler, however, it make the Disney worlds more relevant to visit. Nomura did state that he would try and make the Disney worlds more relevant to the plot, so I suppose, in order for that to happen, second world visits are a huge possibility.

Regardless, I do see, understand and respect the reasoning behind the conclusion that you've come up with.

I am with you, man.  I really want to see second world visits make a return!  It's part of what I loved about Kingdom Hearts II! X_X
