Like seriously. Why would they announce the release date to the English version of Unchained X at a Japanese event? First of all, the game is already out in Japan in case anybody hasn't noticed. Second of all, the majority of the people in Japan don't speak English. So why would they announce a US release date there? If anything, SE will probably announce the release date of Unchained X English at some random time.

They didn't mean they were going to, it's just they were going to 'attempt' to do it, but they couldn't make any promises if it didn't happen.

 

My point is, using the goal excuse is literally old and people should stop trying to say "KHUX has to release this year because Square said 1 KH game a year!!!".

regardless, i honestly don't care what they say, all i want is to play Un:x before Un:x and X end which is i think around March or April i can't remember.  

Honestly? In my case? It's because I'm so desperate and frustrated that they haven't announced it yet that at this point I'm looking at any sort of event with a KH presence as an opportunity for some hypothetical release. If anything we should have gotten a date by now, but now things are looking more and more like it won't kick off until early or mid 2016, leaving English speaking countries a whole 2 year's gap between releases. I know the one game a year thing isn't a rule that they necessarily have to stick to, but it is a standard that they have given themselves at this point, a predictable pattern to keep us comfortable and occupied while they work diligently to complete Kingdom Hearts 3. So to have a whole 2 years' gap separating major KH releases in one set of countries while another get's one release (of a game that they've already had all to themselves for nearly 3 years mind you) in a time that is consistent with everything else kind of further demonstrates the frustration I have with a suspenseful wait like this. So yeah, it's unlikely and pathetic, but at this point, if Kingdom Hearts is showing up in some shape or form somewhere, I'm going to look to it as an opportunity to find out if we have any such hope of seeing the game on our phones (legitly) before New Years.

 

Also, it just really pisses me off that of all the questions that were asked regarding Kingdom Hearts at the last English press event, our own D23 in Anaheim, not a single question was asked regarding Unchained X's official English release. I mean, if an ENGLISH speaking press isn't going to bother to ask the damn question that's on every English player's mind, then what other hope do we have?

 

Of course, there's also always the chance that being a mobile phone game they just randomly drop the release date over social media or something, I believe that was done before with the Japanese version, am I correct (if I'm not, please correct me)? There's always a chance that it could just happen to coincide with the time of the D23 event, or it could just be randomly put out there at any point from now till late December.

 

But yeah, basically just frustration and desperation, that's my main reasons for hoping to see this announced at D23. Doesn't guarantee anything though. This says a lot though, considering how optimistic and positive I try to be most of the time.

Someone speaks the truth. I was thinking somewhere in next month or after that, but not that day.

Because people have the right to be impatient with this game so any release window seems viable. Truth be told, I don't see the difficulty of translating Unchained X to English... there's no voice acting so that predicament is sorted out.

Lol you think translating a game is just as easy as deleting the original text and pasting in the translation?

I hope however to d23 say something even if it is an event ... Why Japanese are already almost two months that was released in Japan the game so I think we are entitled to at least a date that you say?

What the being impatient have to do with this? People just need to realize that a US release date will not be revealed at a Japanese event. Sure, there will be new KH news but that doesn't mean the a Japanese speaking country will give out an game  that's in English. That seems dumb.

You aren't getting a "US release date". You might get a little notice of when the game is coming out internationally but SE could easily drop it one day and then tell you at the time.
