What will the introductory world in Kh3 be? Will you play as Sora?

Posted

Of course there will be an introductory world, or stage where combat is scarce and we're learning the controls, do you think they'll pull a KH2 and start us off as a new character or anyone other than Sora? And in which world will we start? I'm thinking probably Destiny Islands, playing as Sora.

I thought of Destiny Islands or Yen Sid's Tower, but...

Possibly Yen Sid's Tower.

Though, to be completely frank, I can see there being some sort of mini tutorial set in the past where you play as either Xehanort or Eraqus before the main game starts.

I really liked this idea, I think it can be possible.

Actually that's pretty brilliant. In my opinion! Especially depending on how the opening scene is the conversation between the two.

Well, I don't know who it will really go down but I would like it to go straight into the action. Like I dunno, the first world could be like a tutorial world as you go through it and what happened before could be in flashbacks similar to KH3D. Cause you know...Sora learns bout stuff in Yen Sids tower in 0.2 so I dont really want to stay put much further. Just an opinion

It'll either be land of departure with xehanort and eraqus, or it'll be olympus coliseum where sora still has his old clothes for a mark of mastery exam.

There is a high chance that they will pull off a POV introduction with either Young Eraqus or Young Xehanort or even both. We know already that the latest trailer where we see them at the chess board is the opening sequence so this backs it up a little bit. After that we will probably have Sora either starting at Destiny Islands, Traverse Town or at Yen Sids tower where Sora gets his new clothes. The first world we will be able to visit could be Olympus Coliseum or the Tangled world.

The game starts off with the conversation between young Eraqus and Xehanort. That will probably be a bit of a long scene. Then we might move on to now where Sora is somewhere on his journey after Mickey told him the truth in the secret episode in HD2.8FCP.

It could be like BBS, where it alternates between baby Eraqus and Xehanort. I'm totally riding this train btw 8)

To be honest, since 2.8 was just announced, I think that the 0.2 BBS should be counted as the "intro" or "prologue" to the game. And I think when KH3 comes out, I believe that you will continue as Aqua and maybe then play as sora when you get to the point when Aqua reaches the beach at the end of BBS when she talks to Ansem the Wise. I think she will then end up in destiny islands from there because we know that some how the two beaches are connected somehow. Being that Kiaris message in the bottle reached sora at the end of KH2 and Riku and Sora walked through that "door of light" to get back home. And that will lead and switch to sora when he picks up the Master Keeper Keyblade on Destiny islands. It's too early to tell, but that's what I predict happening.

Pretty unanimous that we don't want much of an introductory sequence, especially since we're gladly accepting waiting for 0.2.
