Yes, I might be in the minority of this opinion but I think Kingdom Hearts should try to have worlds based on some of their shorts. Kinda of like Timeless River but a specific short.

My best pick would have to be Pluto's Judgement Day. In the story Pluto has a nightmare of going to a Hell like domain ran by cats and trialed for all of his crimes against cats and found guilty. What if instead of a dream this was it's own world and someone like Pete, Maleficent or even Xehanort got them aware of other worlds and decided to use the Heartless to take Pluto instead of listening to Pete Maleficent or Xehanort's intentions. Sora comes in and tries to help Pluto like he did with Alice in Wonderland.

But in the end the Kitten (that Pluto chased in the beginning of "Pluto's Judgement Day") would save Pluto? Idk, I just feel like the Kitten needs to be in the story so that not all cats are shown as such. Not like in a "offensive" way because it wouldn't be offensive but a balanced way.

Instead of calling it "Hell" we could it either "Prosecutor's Fiery Domain" or "The Cat's Judgement" or maybe even "The Pur-fect Punishment"

The World itself would be a fiery plain with platforming lava segments and of course be both Hell and Cat themed. The Heartless might take on a Demonic look while in this world or some will be Cat, Lion or Tigers based. Or some past fire based Heartless. The Ice spell would be your greatest asset in this world. (As I would expect the Fire spell to be in a Frozen world)

Characters

-Pluto

-The Kitten

-Cat Prosecutor

-Cat Judge

-Cat Devil's (as random enemies like the soldiers in The Grid from 3D)

The Boss would either be Pete, the Cat Prosecutor or some Heartless Boss.

However; I'm not sure if Pluto would be a party member. But then again, if they could make Bambi, Dumbo & Chicken Little summons then I guess all it takes is a little imagination.

So what do you guys think? Would this be going a bit too far? Or would it be "pur-fect" ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°)  .....I'll see myself out.

You lost me when you started mentioning about Pluto going to hell and coming across some villains. That is, I immediately started thinking "uh no". That won't ever happen,

Is Pluto's Judgement Day is some kind of old Disney cartoon like Timeless River?

That definitely was one of the spookier of the shorts (and they had some pretty scary shorts!) I do like the idea of doing quick worlds based around some of the older cartoons. One of the things that worked well in Epic Mickey was the nods to the cartoons that made the mouse famous, and I think it would work in Kingdom Hearts as well.

that'd be quite a 180 for pluto in terms of story involvement and tone. somehow i don't see them putting in a world where Pluto goes to hell. you may say, "Oh but the Underworld is basically hell and it was in KH," but then it's not like the characters are being sent there for punishment. In KH2 Sora and co. only end up there because they took a wrong turn.

It happens to all of us, of course. Head out to the mall then "whoops" i'm in hell.

This is actually the most hilarious KH parody thing I have ever seen

Yeah, but during the later years when they entered the early years of colored animation

I remember the short, but it's not really in the same style as the rest of KH. I'd like to see what a world based on this would look like, but there's no way something like it would be in KH3. Maybe when this saga is over, we get to see some of the more interesting shorts in KH.

Ah ok.

I could see another world based off of the shorts similar to Timeless River, but I'm unsure of Pluto's Judgement Day. Timeless Rivever was used because it was Mickeys introduction, but I could see it being expanded upon since when we first went there the castle, and the town was being developed.  I would actually like to see the classic Phantom Blot introduced into the game, but not the one from Epic Mickey just the one from the old shorts, and comics where he's just a criminal in a hood. I think it would make sense because he's a villain from Mickeys past, and we could see his past self before seeing what he develops into in the future.

Maybe a secret boss like Julius

How about the "Der Fuehrer's Face" Short. Y'now when Donald was a Nazi.

How about the "Der Fuehrer's Face" Short. Y'now when Donald was a Nazi.

Keep in mind that it was a nightmare about living in Nazi Germany, so you would have the level be breaking Donald out of the munitions factory.

So THAT'S where they got that one Tom & Jerry episode from! xD I never seen "Pluto's Judgement Day" but there was one episode of Tom & Jerry similar to that! Cept Tom only went to Hell at the near end of the dream. But seriously (Not seriously), Pluto going to Hell? Why? xD He's barely IN KH to begin with, so how would he "commit crimes" to even end up in Dog Hell? Did he maul a child or something?! ...And now I somehow want An American Tail in KH... Even though it's a Don Bluth's movie... >> << It sounds cooler in my head! D:
