Why do people have to complain about characters in a fighting game, anyway? Especially DLC? Don't buy them or don't play them, Smash has a roster of over 50 characters! This stuff pisses me off about the smash fanbase

In what world is Bartz a more logical choice than Cloud?  If you are going to pick a character from another franchise you have to pick the most iconic one.  Even if they were just picking characters that appeared on Nintendo systems: Warrior of Light, Black Mage, Cecil, even Terra would be more recognizable choices than Bartz.

I would accept Gilgamesh before Bartz if they needed a Final Fantasy V entry, especially because he's probably the most recognized and recognizable character from that game.  That, and he's bloody awesome

Whoa, that was a long list of reactions from the Japanese community!  Haha, so like everyone else in the world, there's mixed feelings regarding Cloud's inclusion in Smash! Honestly, I'm frackin happy he's in Smash!  It was totally unexpected, but it was quite the pleasant surprise!

I got a quarter of the way through the list... then... oh my head.

Honestly, seems about like the westerner reactions I've seen. Pretty much mixed between yay, meh, and boo.
