Arya Stark 1,337 Posted January 7, 2016 Cobica -- Seraphim Order Cobica looked to Yev. Well, he had certainly anticipated an interruption. Regardless, it seemed like things would still work out in the end. But he wouldn't get his fight... That was the true shame of the matter. Cobica smiled towards both of the other men as he walked closer to them. He clapped Jynn on the back. Hard. "Oh come now Your Grace. Surely you can put me down if I get out of hand, like a rabid animal. You are after all, a king. And a king who can't protect his people from a single man is probably worthless anyway." He said, his words harsh, but his tone light and mocking. The sarcasm present showed that he still did not believe Jynn's claims of royalty. Then again, that plane had come awful quick... No, any man with a heavy enough purse could do that. Hell, if anything it poked more holes in Jynn's story. If he was from so far away, then how did the plane come so quick? "Well my friends, it has been delightful, but I must be going. A first class ride awaits me, and I have a membership in the Mile High Club I've been waiting to cash in for a while. Tell Vort hi for me Yev. Ask him how Ava's treating him. Damn, I'd give a lot to have a beauty like that servicing me, I mean sleeping with me, I mean, in love with me. Of course. And Your Grace," Cobica was walking away now, but turned, and bowed to Jynn theatrically. "I certainly hope you are not lying. Horse heads don't look good on my wall." The Half-Breed glowed yellow for a second, then vanished from sight. Vortludo -- Seraphim Order "Why, that may be truthful." Vortludo began. "And quite complimentary as well, thank you my dear. But I'm afraid I'm not cut out for the higher up positions. There is something Cobica and Yevgeni have always had that I simply do not." Vortludo looked to the window, watching the world move. "The strength to make the right decision no matter the cost. My compassion, as you so put it, will always get in the way of that." He said. The airship rocked as it touched down. Vortludo looked again to Ava with a smile. "My lady, it would appear that we have landed." Vortludo stood from his seat, and walked over to his darling. He held out his arm for her to grab as the entrance ramp descended again. "Shall we be going now?" The Doctor -- Messiah The Doctor stood from his cot, brushing off the prison dust from his clothing. He walked out the cell, and over to Yltriss'. "Perhaps they will. But even if they don't, I'm sure you can recognize a simple fact about us right now. I am on the outside of my cell, whilst you sit on the inside of yours. You certainly appear and act smart, but this particular encounter has torn off your mask. You're pathetic my dear." He turned sharply to the left and began to walk to the Science Deck as he had been assigned. Before he rounded the corner, the Doctor shot some last words to the Elf. "I'll bring you something to curb your symptoms once I get a batch done. It should be of some assistance, though it won't cure you of all your afflictions." And then he was gone, a free man. He had some other ideas that would help out this small Rebellion, but he would share them another time, after he had earned himself a bit more influence. The Unversed 168 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) - Zane - New Empire - currently outside of Hylvania As Zane remained motionless or deep in thought sitting on a rock a soldier ran up to him & quickly whispered in his ear "Hm!..." said Zane as he listened to the soldier. Zane then stood up form sitting & slammed his fan to the ground "CHANGE OF PLANS MEN! WE'RE ATTACKING THEM RIGHT NOW!" shouted Zane "B-but what about your recovering? & why now?" said a soldier "Did I ask you to question me soldier?" said Zane as the soldier then went silent. "YOU ARE TO COMMENCE THE ATTACK NOW!!" shouted Zane as his soldiers begun to charge towards the town Hylvania weapons waving in the air. "Now to take out any outposts around the town" said Zane as he instantly warp'd himself away reappearing on a nearby outpost, The rebels on the outpost quickly saw him firing some arrows & bullets at him but they just passed straight through him "I-is he a ghost!" yelled a scared rebel "Now DIE!" said Zane a he went to grab the rebel by the neck, but Zane quickly jumped back to dodge some arrows that were on fire & caught the last one with his left hand before it hit his mask. Zane dropped the fire arrow & quickly grabbed his fan swinging it around himself sending a massive wave of wind around him that sent all the rebels on the outpost flying off of it. Zane continued to take out each outpost one by one while his soldiers invaded the town. - Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in a massive cave near Pandora Dark Heart & Sahail had made it to their massive cave near the town Pandora. "So it seems that Oryx is planing to overtake more towns to further his new empire rule...hehehe. This is a perfect opportunity to betray those generals he has, hehehe." said Sahail grinning while she walks around the cave with one of her guns tapping her lips lightly. Dark Heart was sitting casually on a nearby rock looking at her demon sword in silence "So which town should we interfere with is the question?...well Dark Heart?" said Sahail as she walked over to Dark Heart stopping just in front of her. Dark Heart stabbed her demon blade into the ground next to her before looking at Sahail "Why should I get involved in such meaningless fights?...besides, The people I want to kill aren't the generals." said Dark Heart "But they were once, weren't they Dark Heart?..." said Sahail while Dark Heart said nothing to continue the conversation. Sahail then pointed her gun at Dark Heart's head "Listen Dark Heart either you betray them or I betray you, it's that simple" said Sahail while Dark Heart just closed her eyes in silence. Sahail held her gun at Dark Hearts head for a more than a moment until her hand started to shake "Grr, DARN YOU! I can see your totally against the idea. Fine...I'll simply take it out on some fools in this stupid town then!" yelled Sahail clearly pissed off by Dark Heart's refusal. Dark Heart opened her eyes to see Sahail was nowhere inside the cave "...I must find her soon" said Dark Heart to herself before coughing a bit in the dark cave while Sahail headed into the town of Pandora. - Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in Krile Rei & Yagyu had finished drinking their green tea & after some more rest Yagyu was feeling much better both physically & mentally. Yagyu was in a bedroom removing her bandages while she was changing into her clothes, but after she removed the bandages around her right arm she saw that her arm was covered in strange black markings "Hm...why haven't these markings disappeared yet?..." said Yagyu to herself. Yagyu then put the bandages back on her right arm to cover up the strange markings before she finished dressing herself. Yagyu left the bedroom heading outside the front door to leave "Wait a moment dear!" shouted Rei, Yagyu turned around to see Rei just behind her holding a big bag of medicine "I...I'd like to go with you Yagyu?...if it's okay with you that is?" said Rei a bit nervously. Yagyu was silent for a moment as she was thinking on the idea "I guess you can come with me. It might please Yevgeni if I were to bring a least 1 new recruit to the rebellion. But only Yevgeni has the final say on you joining the rebellion, so don't get your hopes up too high Rei." said Yagyu "O-okay..." said Rei "Then lets get going Rei, I need to give Yevgeni my mission report & tell him the events that happened in Goldolvia as quickly as I can" said Yagyu as she then put one hand on Rei's shoulder. Yagyu then removed her eye patch opening her right eye using it's power to warp the both of them to the city of ruin. Yagyu & Rei reappeared in the city of ruin near Yevgeni, Cobica & Jynn just after Yev stopped Cobica & Jynn's fight. Yagyu quickly covered up her demon eye up with her eye patch feeling a little sting of pain in her right arm but quickly shaking the pain off, Yagyu could see Yev & Cobica talking to a new comer that has the look of royalty. Rei walked quietly up behind Jynn to nervous to speak to him or anyone else while Yagyu walked over to Yev "Leader Yev, How are you today? I'm very sorry to have taken so long on my mission. But I have someone here named Rei who I would recommend adding to our rebellion group. I also must give you my mission report, you won't like what I have to say about my report leader" said Yagyu calmly as a big airship come down. Endless Thundaga 533 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order Jynn, noticing that Yagyu has important information to share to Yevgeni, tells him, "Well, I guess I'll leave you three at it." Jynn whistles to Melstrome to board the plane. Jynn turns towards the craft. A computer starts to welcome Jynn. "Welcome aboard, your majesty. It seems we have a rather spunky guest. Do you approve of his boarding?" Jynn sighs. "Yes, SATURN (Name of the computer). He has permission to come aboard." Jynn leads Mel to the cargo bay where a fresh clean stall awaits. The stall is cubed shaped, and spins and turns to keep Mel balanced in case the flight were to go wild. Jynn walks to the cockpit, but not before noticing Cobica ready for the flight. Jynn walks towards him. "Now Cobica, this ain't your average everyday Boeing 707. This plane is equipped with four supersonic powered engines. When this thing takes off, it will take off. So be sure you're strapped in. Tight." Jynn warns the Half-Blood. When he finally reaches the cockpit, he stops and thinks. Will Cobica do harm to his people? He knew there was only one way to find out. Jynn takes a seat in the captain's chair. SATURN asks for permission to close the entrance to the plane, to which Jynn accepts. After the door closes, Jynn straps himself in. "Alright, prepare for one hell of a ride. SATURN, activate the lift thrusters." The plane suddenly floats off the ground and spins to the direction Jynn wants it to go. After a few moments, Jynn gives the all clear. "Take off at supersonic speed." SATURN powers the engines at full throttle. The engines roar loudly. Jynn finally says, "Go." The aircraft takes off at incredible velocity. Vaude 536 Posted January 7, 2016 - Yltriss Hyulli - New Empire - Prisoner on Oathkeeper - The old elf sneered at the Doctor's words as he turned toward the end of the hall, his rebuke digging under her skin but not scathing. You young fool, she thought, shaking her head, as brilliant as you are, you've unknowingly only replaced one set of shackles for another. However, at the Doctor's last comment she was taken aback, and looked over to where he was to find no one there. "Maybe he does have some good nature in him after all, that Julius . . . and maybe good insight," she muttered, looking down at the tray with a frown. "My mask, keh? I do wonder what he means, and whether it, if it exists, did indeed clatter to the floor." She fell into a long silence, and meditating on this further only soured her appetite, making the beef look gross, the vegetables stale, the water tainted, and the bread that collapsed on the floor seem a week old. Huffing and roughly placing the tray on the floor, she took a sip of water, covered herself in what ragged sheets she had to stem off the cold, and drifted off into a nightmarish sleep. Saber Lily 1,543 Posted January 7, 2016 -Eclaire- She looked at her precious wife, and Jadis...and leaned down to kiss her. Leaving her for a moment. She took the head of the table, turning to her ragtag bunch of soldiers. "For those of you who served under me in Lux, you know my plans. My daring theft of the Korbenic Naval Fleet, my defiant attack on Lysengard. The hairbrained assault on langerdon, undone by Oryx. This one shall take the cake." She tapped the table, a holo map bursting to life. She didn't have a preamble for any of it. All business. "Everyone will deploy from here and find their own way to their objectives. First off." She tapped Godolvia. "Maxis. Intel places at least a Division of New Imperial troops here. Eliminate the entire division however you see fit. If anyone wants to defect, bring them." She tapped Feldspar. "Allitt. Multiple crime bosses are currently residing in Feldspar. Kill them all, and plunge their organizations into chaos. I want the criminal underworld to turn upon itself in bloodbaths of succession." She then tapped Luin. "Mikhail. The trade center of Luin is important to my plans. Go there at once, find all information that you possbily can, acquire from the black market everything useful, and wait in hiding for Ciriel. Who..." She tapped Langerdon. "Is going here. Intel from Chrysalis says that the Dreadnought and the Tanzynite Hater might still be alive in the city. Find them, and recruit them. This is paramount to your advance on Luin to meet up with Mikhail." She turns the map. "Jeremy will deploy in Zero Wing to take out the flagship of the Second Fleet, the Caldwalfen. With the battleship gone, the fleet loses a major source of firepower." She tapped Brenaen. "Chrysalis. An Imperial patrol fleet resides here. Destroy it, and anything else to harm the Empire." She tapped an area outside of Langerdon. "Ryonne. A Sahala mass production model factory lies here. Level it, and everything in a twenty mile radius." She said nothing more about it, and then tapped the Oathkeeper. "Fiora. You will go to the brig with clothes and talk to Yltriss. Gain any information from her you can, then go to Gabriel and the Doctor. You are innocent as can be, and truly believe in your cause. Sway them to use, fully." She looked at Jadis. "Elf. I have a special mission for you." She tapped the greater Godovlia area. "Find the Dwarves. We need them." She then went ahead, and tapped Pasa Beach. "Kusanagi, as well as pilots Kirin and Jazz, will head here. Begin taking the Lux area for Messiah, and recruit as you can." She finally tapped one last place...Shivering Moors. "The Oathkeeper, Razgriz Air Command Squadron, and myself will head into Shivering Moors. If we can take the Elvin City from the Seraphim Order, our liberation of Lux can begin. I expect brainwashed troops of Seraphim, but if they think I am dead only...tell them the truth." She left the map up. "From your positions, begin returning to Lux. Ciriel, you and anyone you get will get on Caladbolg at Luin. Anything of use, anything to build or use to fight, or food, or anything. Load onto that destroyer and get it to Woodarc. Jadis. I need any dwarves who will help us, to Woodarc. That will be our shipyards. If the Elves turn to us, we can have them start the rebuilding of the wrecked Imperial vessels on the border." She looked around the room, at everyone. "If I missed anyone or anything, speak now. Otherwise, to your stations. Everyone here has a vital role to play in this operation - if even one of our missions, even yours Fiora, fails...then our entire existence could end." She was solemn. "I trust every one of your abilities. I trust your skills, your resolve. Go forth, and bring the new message. This age of darkness has remained, the Seraphim Order is a sham, a shadow of what it should be. But keep my life a secret. Let them think you are freedom fighters...unless you are fighting those of the Seraphim Order. Tell them I live, and if they fight for that false leader, they shall die where they stand." Eclaire Tonnerre let the map fade. "If we take Lux, if the Dwarves and Elves help us, and if we find more warriors...then, my friends...then, we have a chance. Our fight resumes immediately. Make your preparations, say your final goodbyes. It shall be a long time before we all see each other...and I say now, the beachhead we shall call Krille will be where we finally reunite. So until that day comes, go. Fight. May the Goddess guide your weapon, and may the Empire tremble in fear when they hear the name, of Messiah."
Atrias 19 Posted January 7, 2016 Deuce, Grim, Jonathan and Nalia: Deuce stood still completely frozen by fear as the cutlass cut through his skin. The supposed hostage situation may have been his idea but the second it became too real for his liking time stopped for him. His breathing became faster and he was shaking. “DEUCE!” shouted his sister. The scream would remind most of a bloodthirsty beast. Her course changed from Keyes to Rufus. It seemed as if she would run them both over if not stopped. Luckily two shots came out of nowhere, each bearing tremendous force, and made Osor scatter in the wind as even the earthen behemoth could not stand with two holes through his torso. The bullets came from none other than Grim. He arrived just in the nick of time glaring down both Nalia and Rufus In random intervals. During this silence the golemlike minions the now berserk sister controlled changed their line of advance to Grim. Jonathan made some hand signs gesturing she drank something then grabbing something and concluded by running his finger in a circle around his neck. His boss gave a puzzled expression while shooting down some of the golems that kept closing in. “Basically … a smoke screen?” the redheaded zombie said out loud making sure Nalia heard him. This made her step back. Not a second later the undead boss kept firing several rounds. Deuce still frozen from the little mishap earlier could only shout:“RUN!” stepping back from the blade closer to Rufus whilst still breathing at the rate of a machine gun. Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 7, 2016 -Yevgeni and Ava - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin "Yes, it does." Yevgeni stole a quick glance over at the airship, blond locks falling over his shoulder. "It's part of our crew that had been away on errand. But listen: I can assure you that my friend will do you no harm. You have my word on the Seraphim Order. Cobica understands his bounds"--he shot Cobica a look, offering him a smile that simply translated to "be nice, or else"--"he will do you no harm. However, do anything to him and I will know immediately, and you will not survive anyhow. Cobica can . . . hold his own, so I suggest you treat him with respect." Finally he took a step in the direction of the airship, turning one final glance back at the duo heading for a kingdom which may or may not exist. "Thank you, your Highness, for gracing us with your presence. I'm truly sorry for all of the caution, but it is a protocol we must not follow with the dire times we've encountered. I greatly look forward to working with you and meeting more of your men." At this point Yevgeni was rather convinced that he was a royal. While the plane could've been an act to escape the City of Ruin to save his own skin, his mannerisms were indeed royal, and it was taking a huge chance to take Cobica to the land if it didn't exist. Things were starting to look interesting, and much more in Yevgeni's favor than before. His attention was diverted from the airship, however, with the sudden appearance of Yagyu and another strange woman in tow. He fixated Yagyu with his emerald gaze, studying her carefully as she spoke. "Very well. I thank you, Yagyu. I will be very much interested to hear what you have to say in Godolvia, though am saddened that the news you bring is heavy. The others have just arrived in Rhasolvich, so if you wouldn't mind meeting with me in private after I have greeted them I would be very grateful. I will evaluate your friend at that time as well. What is her specialty?" The doors to the airship opened, and the exit ramp rooted itself firmly upon the ashen soil. Inside Ava giggled as Vortludo extended his arm out to her. "I would be flattered, my good sir." Her smile was wide. Vortludo's gentlemanly ways continued to surprise and amuse her; he had mannerisms that she didn't commonly see in a soldier, but perhaps that all came from his being a noble. "And, to be honest, I think it's a good thing that you have so much mercy and compassion in your heart. If you didn't, where would I be right now, and many others you've given the benefit of the doubt to?" She fell silent as they approached Yevgeni, who awaited them with a fixated smile. He extended a hand. "Welcome back, Vort, my dear friend, and Ava. It is good to have you return to the kingdom. I'm very eager to hear how things went in Rhasolvich. How is the rebuilding, and the people? Our presence so greatly warms their hearts, you know, and I take such joy in seeing our people rejoice. I have a meal prepared for all of you, especially you two, and I'm sure you must be famished." -Ariana - Neutral - Godolvia- A few good meals and plenty of sleep had done the dark sorceress some good. The morning was still young when she'd decided to bundle up for a walk. She couldn't get enough fresh air after being locked away in a stifling prison cell for nearly a year. The light felt good on her body and the air refreshed her mind. Thankfully she hadn't encountered any negative response from the townsfolk, though she knew how to lay low. There were certainly some people here that would recognize her spot-on and not tolerate her presence, and yet there were likely people that would support her since they were loyal to the old empire. Even if she had the most sour of reputations. Ari hadn't the slightest idea how she was going to attempt finding Chrysalis. The world was massive, even to hear, and without eyes and ears all over the place her knowledge of outside surroundings was limited. She didn't know where anyone or anything was. Heck, if she could even find that accursed Eclaire she could probably find Chrysalis. Her parting words to her was that she would join the rebellion and save her, but what was that supposed to mean? She didn't need saving! In the far distance she saw a group of kids playing out in a field. Their laughter rang across the alley, mesmerizing the woman in place. One of them was a blonde little girl. Certainly not her Chrysalis, but adorable all the same. Her lips parted slightly as she watched. A year ago she'd killed groups of children like this, all for sport, power, and dominance. How could she have been so monstrous? What had she done, all for the sake of glory? It was too much to think about or bear. A demonic, scaly, gray pair of wings sprouted from her back as she spiraled into the air, disappearing into the horizon and doing the one thing she was great at: Running away from what she couldn't face up to. -Jadis - Messiah - Oathkeeper- Elf? Jadis thought irritably to himself. Everyone else had been addressed by name, why not him? And dwarves? Admittedly he'd never met one, but that kind generally kept to themselves. He'd heard tales of the dwarves growing up; a small brawny race that lacked the intelligence of man and elf, generally mining and making a fortune off of selling tanzynite supplies to the empire. Listening to an "elf" like him probably wasn't in their best interests. And again he was being separated from Fiora. He turned a glance on to the kind woman somberly. She'd so greatly wanted to head out into the heart of the action, and here she was being sentenced to the ship again. "With all due respect, commander," said Jadis, his voice even. "Maybe it would be better if Fiora left and I remained here. I'm afraid the dwarves might not listen to me due to my elven lineage, and one of the prisoners you have here is indeed an elf. Maybe she would hear me, if only because of our shared blood." This, however, was only part of the reason. The main reason was to give Fiora some independence and freedom. He didn't want to endanger her, truly, but knew what it was like to feel stifled. He felt the same way himself. Finally he added, "And after that I can join her. It shouldn't take me long to speak with them and sway them to our cause. What do you think, commander, please?" Speaking up was a risky move, especially when everyone else meekly accepted their mission. But Jadis had a tendency to speak out of line, something Eclaire surely was used to by now. Endless Thundaga 533 Posted January 7, 2016 (edited) Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order After the plane keeps up with it's speed, Jynn sits back and starts to become worried. "Something seemed very wrong about Yevgeni. He was friendly and all, but the aura he gave off, seemed rather ominous......" he whispers to himself. "SATURN, shut the cockpit door. And soundproof the walls in here." SATURN complies and closes the door and the walls become silent. Jynn starts to ask the computer on information about the Seraphim Order. "Do you have intel on the group I'm joining?" Jynn asks the computer. "Yes sir, but only from what I've been told. The team that you are currently joining is called the "Seraphim Order". They are a small group of rebels that wish to keep justice, hope, and peace. The leader is Yevgeni Malachite." Jynn rolls his eyes. "Tell me something I don't know." The computer replies, "I'm sorry sir. That's all I have for you. I'm not programmed to hack into records." Jynn leans back and sighs. "I know, I know.........." After an hour, the plane slows down. SATURN starts to speak. "Sir, we have reached the location of the entryway, I set the speed to 150 mph. Should I warn the visitor that we are going underwater?" Jynn shakes his head. "Nah, I need some kind of way to make him pay for attacking me. He attacks me, so I get to scare him." Jynn chuckles and pulls down the microphone to talk to Cobica. "You're now about to find out why my land is so secret. Prepare yourself, we're going for a swim." Jynn smiles and put the microphone away. "SATURN, pressurize the fuselage and activate the propellers." As the fuselage is pressurized and the propellers are activated, the plane comes to a slow halt. Finally it falls into the water below, creating a giant splash. The aircraft has now become a submarine. Edited January 15, 2016 by Khdude

Speaking up was a risky move, especially when everyone else meekly accepted their mission. But Jadis had a tendency to speak out of line, something Eclaire surely was used to by now. -Eclaire- The woman had always been impressed by Jadis and Fiora. Together they had fought Chrysalis and Ariana, had journeyed here...had fought alongside her. But what he wanted, she couldn't deliver. Not this time. "Jadis, I understand. But if you will let me explain." She reached over, and ruffled Fiora's hair. "I need Fiora with me, because we are going to attacking Shivering Moors. With everyone out I need her and her healing magic to keep me intact, and I need her watching my back. We're married, Jadis. And in our vows we swore to protect one another. She will go with me, and protect me, whilst I protect her. Once Shivering Moors is taken, I have other objectives you two can do. But you need to be the one to bring the Dwarves in; the Elves could see a human leading the dwarves as an attack by the Empire. But if they see an Elf leading, they will be cautious, not violent. You are also more stubborn than any dwarf, kid. You can easily outtalk them to our side, and then with your blood you can sway the elves to listen." She looked at them. "After the dwarves are here and Shivering Moors are taken, I need people to lead the troops in taking the Lux Peninsula. With your two's knowledge of this side of the continent, the Empire and Seraphim Order stand no chance. But right now, I need you, Jadis, to bring the Dwarves. Right now, Fiora will watch my back in Shivering Moors after talking to Gabriel." She looked up. "I looked at you all and saw your strengthens. I am playing up to them all." She looked at Ciriel and Ryonne. "You two will meet up after your objectives and head to Mikhail at Luin. If all our objectives are met, then this dreadnought will fly with myself, Fiora, and Jadis to Orience." She let out a breath. "Every single one of you are imperative to our victory. Failure is not an option." Eclaire looked at these warriors. All of them, roles to play. All of them important to victory. "We are Messiah. let us bring salvation to this dying world." She raised her hand, palm down. "May your blades swing true, your arrows fly straight. Your sights remain steady. May your healing be absolute, and may your words be as steadfast as the mountains. I believe in you all, and so does the Goddess." She then smiled. "Let's put the fear of the Goddess into this world once more."
Vaude 536 Posted January 9, 2016 - Rufus Contralto - Neutral - Outside Krile -Rufus glanced down at his young mock captive, Deuce's chest heaving and beads of sweat trickling down his neck, and was certain that Deuce made a phenomenal actor. He most certainly knew how to feign fear and panic, which would be perfect for the play he was working on. Stinkybeard the Timid needs not wait for an audition, Rufus thought. The one man that can flawlessly take the role has graciously arrived at my doorstep! Granted, he lacks the stink and has no beard, but that can easily be remedied. I should ask him about playing the part later. He snapped back to reality as Deuce stepped further backward, nearly toppling the older man over. Assessing the confusing situation, Rufus sheathed his kindjal blade and whispered low to him, "Later shall we come back to this in the protection of an airship. Keep constant charge of your stomach. This would be an . . . unsettling ride for the unprepared."Waiting a few seconds, the dramatist put his hand on the both of them, Deuce on the back first and himself next on the stomach. The back-summoning magic he was churning in his arm earlier transplaced them through time and space back to the airship, where a very angry Lelita lay ready and waiting to pounce upon the captain."Whaddya think you were doing? What do you think that you are doing? You brought back a child with you, the same one that was looking at the egg with us. Don't tell me he is a hostage for that sand-demon-riding lunatic?"Rufus was laboriously breathing this time, four back-to-back reverse summonings over a great distance taking its toll on his stamina, and an unmarked reverse summoning at that for Deuce. It took him a short while to talk, his stomach ceasing to try to twist itself into a knot and his glowing brand fading from a golden white to a regular scar."T'was an escape, and he was a hostage, but hostage he is no longer." He braced himself against the side of the ship. "We need to return Deuce here before we get our bounties up again, and also for another thing.""Getting that space egg?" Harst spoke up, rubbing his tufted chin."For me? Oh, thank you, Cap'n! You're the best!" squealed Lelita. "But don't think that you're off the hook for 'porting me back early.""That," Rufus replied with a mild grimace, "and that I fear for our advanced friend there who came from it."- Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin -A figure in brown descended the exit ramp far behind Vortludo and Ava, glancing up at the four collected persons with his arms folded within his thick, loose, and hempen robes. A wide smile crossed his face as he closed the distance on the floor, yielding a low bow at the end."Forgive me for intruding. Yevgeni Malachite, I presume, the fair leader of the Seraphim Order, though do correct me if I am wrong. I am Kaspar, and I come at summons from Master Vortludo and Lady Ava to aid you in your services to the people through the use of the lost art, because surely the world is in need of its power."A dark grin overtook the man as he glanced between the four, awaiting a response. Kaspar looked young in appearance but older in spirit, and his uncovered head trickled forth black wisps of hair that looked like an overgrowth. With gaunt features and little animation besides the glitter of life in his green eyes, he gave forth the aura that he practiced black magicks, and if any guessed that of him they were quite correct. Shulk 8,623 Posted January 9, 2016 (edited) Fiora - Messiah Fiora's face turned bright red once Eclaire had kissed her. For as long as they'd been together, she still often became a little shy around her, as her awkward entrance had showed. The blush eventually dissipated as Eclaire gave her orders to everyone. She wasn't very surprised that Eclaire had asked her to stay behind again, though she was a little upset that she wouldn't get to go and fight with the others. However, she was happy for Jadis that he would get an important mission. Jadis' suggestion to Eclaire was another outburst that didn't surprise her, and she was happy that Eclaire had responded to it so calmly. Her blush had returned once Eclaire's attention had turned towards Fiora once again, and once she had finished talking, Fiora decided to speak up. "Jadis... thank you for speaking up for me. I'll be fine, though. Eclaire has her reasons for asking me to stay behind for now... I'll trust her judgment. You have your own job to do, and I'm sure that you'll succeed. Once you get back and we have some spare time after the battle, let's train together again. It's been too long since the last time I got to see your strength." She smiled at the young elf, hoping that would put him at ease. She still didn't understand why she'd been chosen for the mission that Eclaire had given her, given that talking wasn't exactly her strong point... She figured that she'd ask Eclaire once they could be alone for a moment. Eclaire would probably want to see her off anyway, so Fiora could find out then. For now, she waited for things to settle. Allitt - Messiah "Taking on some crime lords in Feldspar?" The blonde-haired woman leaned back in her chair a bit, looking slightly bored. "Isn't that a little easy for me...?" She paused for a moment, then flashed a grin. "Heh, just kidding. I'll take care of them, commander. Leave 'em to me, they won't stand a chance." She spoke confidently. Of course, she would have enjoyed a challenge, but it had been a while before she'd gotten a proper fight. Even if this would just be a quick assassination mission, it was better than waiting on an assignment like she had been for a while now. Besides, a good fight might help to shake her out of her recent depression. "So, take them out and head over to Krile? I suppose I should be finished with my job quickly enough to spend a little time on the beach..." She commented, feeling a little happy that she got to show her usual confident, playful side once again. Indy - Empire Indy listened to Isaac's plans, and ignored Kinzoku's complaints. The idea of being second in command caught his interest, mostly since it meant he wouldn't be ordered around. Isaac seemed to be a relatively relaxed man, though his decisions were wise. Indy could tell that he'd be a great leader for the mission. "Very well, I'll be set to leave at 4. I like the idea of being direct in our attack. As you said, this assault should go smoothly. You've chosen your troops well." He complimented the man, then turned, giving one last message before leaving. "I'll make sure to do my part in building our forces. We'll meet with you at the chosen time." He left the room, already considering what types of soldiers would be essential to the mission. Forming a team was new to him, but he couldn't imagine it being overly difficult. He'd come up with some standards, and anyone who met them could join. He might be a little harsh, but he couldn't bring anyone who wasn't up to the task. Edited January 10, 2016 by Shulk
Arya Stark 1,337 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Ryonne -- Messiah The Swordsman nodded curtly to Eclaire. "If that's all, then I must be off." He said, then stood up. He grabbed his blade, and moved to the doorway, ready to get things started. It was time for things to really get done. But... He had to say something. He glanced over his shoulder, directly at Fiora and Eclaire. "But I must ask again. We should execute the mute. Gabriel Stross was the engineering powerhouse of the Empire, without him, thousands of people would still be alive. Without him, we would have had an easier time every step of the way. And still, his inventions continue to hinder our efforts. And he did it all completely willingly, earning the complete trust of Korben, unlike say, Verstand, who according to records, repeatedly committed treason, and at multiple opportunities expressed extreme displeasure for doing his work. That is a man I can trust. But not Gabriel. And most importantly," Ryonne said, his voice clear, and direct. He did not speak up often, especially not in disagreement with the Commander. But he had a reason. "He killed our mutual friend Viridem. Brutally." Ryonne was gone in a flash, the wind from his speed blowing slightly. He lowered his goggles over his eyes. He gritted his teeth, double checked he was properly strapped in and all his gauges, then flashed a thumbs up to the flight operator. Of course, the flight operator was also the janitor of this half of the ship, and one of the cooks. When it was said that they were undermanned, it was no exaggeration. The hangar door opened, and Ryonne hit the engines. His vehicle roared out of the hangar. It was an odd thing, unique for certain. A sleek and shiny jet propelled motorcycle by all appearances, as soon as he hit open air, wings extended from his speeder. He glided down from the Oathkeeper, eventually touching down on the ground once more. The wings folded back up as he did a doughnut in the dirt for style. He set his GPS for his destination, then set off, roaring across the continent. Vortludo -- Seraphim Order Vortludo pretended not to hear Ava. He did indeed wish to speak more on this subject matter, but now was not the time. This was a moment of triumph. The men who had been stuck at base would cheer to see their return now. Hushed whispers and secrets did not raise morale. "Yev!" Vortludo cried jovially. "It is good to be back. I have missed my home." He clasped Yev's hand, and shook vigorously, before letting him loose. "The people of Rhasolvich will cheer our names for decades to come after the work we have done there. And it warms my heart to think of it. They have their homes, their businesses back. Life will return to what it once was. And it will only improve from there, after we have done away with the Demon King's reign. And I must say, a feast sounds absolutely fantastic." As Kaspar descended from the ramp, Vortludo nodded. "Oh yes, I almost forgot. Yevgeni, this is Master Kaspar. He is a mage unlike any other that I have ever seen. I know that you have looked into increasing your power, and since we do not have any powerful mages about, I took it upon myself to find you one." Vortludo let go of Ava for a moment to move closer to Yev. He whispered into his ear. "I know he seems malevolent by aura. However I must remind you, magic is but a tool. No more evil than a blade." Vortludo moved past Yev, then beckoned for Ava to come back to him. "My dear, you must be exhausted, no? How about we spend some time recovering before the feast. We have been without the luxuries of our own home for a while." Cobica -- Seraphim Order "Please, I've made it eight seconds on the Bull of Lucifer. No plane is going to make me lose my lunch Your Grace." Cobica called up to the cabin on launch. As the flight settled in for a bit, and his "host" closed off the doorway so that he couldn't mock him for fun, Cobica turned to the rest of the plane. He got up and wandered about a bit, glancing from thing to thing. It was a luxury private plane, one that must have cost millions. Everything was pristine... Just being in it made Cobica want to destroy everything. As the plane descended into the water, Cobica raised his eyebrows in surprise, but no more. "Ooh, so your plane is more than a one trick pony. Speaking of ponies, how does your stupid horse do this? Turn into a fish? Wait, there's a better joke in there. A seahorse?" Cobica continued to mock loudly. Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade She ate a bite of her food, watching but not really paying attention to the TV. Neena swallowed. "Henry," She said, her voice lacking the aggressive tone it usually took. "Why do people do bad things? We could all lead happy enough lives without any need for evil deeds." The Assassin asked, posing the question to her partner abruptly and without warning. Endless Thundaga 533 Posted January 10, 2016 (edited) Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order Jynn allows sound to pass the walls again and he hears Cobica's insults, but he laughs into the microphone, "Okay. I'll admit, that was a good one." He recollects himself quickly. "But in all seriousness, no, we don't exit underwater. The exit requires flight." He responds. "It's complicated to explain, you'll see how when we leave my city." SATURN explains how the exit works to Cobica, "It's a platform that rises to the surface of the water inside a giant 290 foot long acryllic tube. It is big enough to carry a large plane, like an Airbus 380, or a Titan." "We are very high tech in my city......" Jynn finishes. After a few minutes, the computer chimes in again, "Sir, we are reaching the surface. I will set the speed to 580 mph, and activate the engines again." Jynn pulls up on the yoke, and the plane resurfaces. A beautiful city appears, surrounded by a enormous crevasse. He turns the plane to an angle where Cobica can see the high-tech city. "This is my home. It's hidden inside an enormous air-filled cavern deep in the sea, this is why nobody knows its location." "Welcome to Aida Carina, the most technologically advanced city in the world." Jynn calls the city's air control. "This is Jynn Venas of the SATURN Boeing 707-920 returning from the City of Ruin. I'm carrying a visitor, and I request immediate landing." A few seconds later, the air control responds, "Welcome back your majesty, you are clear to land." Jynn pilots the plane towards the city's center, where a large modern-like castle appears. He lands on the dock behind the castle and opens the entrance. Scrapmaster 1,731 Posted January 11, 2016 (edited) - Henry - Uneasy alliance - Henry looked surprised at Neena's question, he never really thought much about it, but he knew a bit as to why, or at least thats what he always thought. "With billions of living beings with free will, and different from one another, there will always be those who do these things, be it for Money, power, control, or just mistakes...there will always be those wanting others to suffer, or those wanting to have everything for themselves, this characteristic has repeated itself for mileniums in human history and even angels, demons and whatnot. We make the mistakes that lead everything into the shit...but the humans, demons and angels and many other races...are beings that repeat these same mistakes throughout the years...its the inevitable truth." Henry spoke much like a poet, rightfully so because he knew most of what he did from books and poem during his days as a lab experiment. "Even Oryx falls, other threats will surface, pherhaps worse than him, or the Seraphim order. Think of it like a cycle that repeats itself." He said as he took a bite of his food and watched the news. - Dex Carther - Oryx - Empire Dex had left the meeting room only to be approached by a taken informant. "Sir, reports have arrived that Zane has commenced an attack earlier than expected!" these news immediately got Dex with a very angry expression. "That firetrucking idios...fine, send four assault ships for support alongside, use their stealth drives to not show up on the enemy radar, but send them in hyperdrive, they are to give aerial support to this frigging idiot. Oryx wants that city taken by the next day" Dex ordered as the taken lackey ran off to prep. As Dex walked over to the engineering labs. WHere Taken engineers were working hard, they were even better than normal engineers, they had magic, of the sort of transmutation and telekynesis but no mechromancy...sadly, but they were still doing a great job. "Now where is the DELTA X092 mech? I miss that thing, the five years of practice in a pocket dimension was the best time of my life, specially since I didn't age at all, and it barely took a month back here." Dex went off to find his powered mech suit to head off to the Kaipora assault. Meanwhile Oryx was still in his throne room, "Now...everything is setting itself in motion...yes." He muttered to himself, reviewing recent events. Specially the recent escape of Ariana, who he simply decided not to waste his forces with dealing with her, she was pretty insignificant as of now...and that wouldn't change, oh yes it wouldn't change at all. - Meanwhile in Hylvania - a few minutes later, near hylvania four big assault ships would come through four huge portals, one in each side of Hylvania, to give aerial support to Zane, be it artillery, taken troops, which were already being provided through portals on the ground, letting out taken troops in packsa of 5 each, all with one of them being a heavy machinegun unit with heavy armor. ships look like this: - Mikhail Drak - Prepping to head out to Luin. "Just one thing Eclaire...just in case you end up firetrucking it up in Shivering moors, which you want to strike at alone with your wife for some reason." Mikhail criticized in his normal tone with a shrug, "Here" Mikhail said taking out of his pouch a potion, a red colored small potion, able to fit in his hand easily. "If you do firetruck up, and Fiora ins't able to heal you before you die. Drink this, it'l keep you alive." He said as he slid the potion to the other end of the table, where Eclaire was closest to, it stopped right at the end, waiting for Eclaire to pick it up. "Now off to my spy mission." Mikhail sed, soon heading to the cargo bay to grab a shuttle to head to hte outskirts of Luin. Maxis Prime - Excited for his goldolvia mission - "Alright!, some action!" Maxis said like an excited little kid, as he cloacked and ran off to the cargo bay. upon reaching the bay he simply reached over to a ship engineer, "Hey are my wings ready?" he said uncloaking and startling the man, "y-yes! they are ready." the man said quite frightened by Maxis's sudden appearance. "Alright!" Maxis said. "ARCHWING, activate." Maxis shouted as a pair of wings, which looked much more like a jetpack were brought to, by a retractable stand with the wings and its weapons, although only the wings came off, and flew right at Maxis's back, attaching to it instantly as Maxis floated. "Good!, now im off!" he said as he headed off the ship with his jetpack/wings. Archwing appearance: He soared through the sky, in extreme speeds, he headed to Goldolvia, he'd probably get there within the hour, if all went well in his flight. Atrias 19 Posted January 11, 2016 Deuce: with Rufus and crew He calmed down but felt breakfast rushing upwards. To this end he placed both hands in front of his mouth and began breathing through his nose slowly. After that was done to an extent where he could breathe normally so he could speak in a quiet and gibberish voice he said:"I'm not scared. I'm not scared ... Phew ..." More breathing was necessary before he could talk normally."Right ... Um ... Hi. It's a long story ... Uh ... My name is Deuce as was mentioned before. And I'm not a child. Mind you I have a second degree of engineering." He continued with the last part being said quietly. At that point he finally realized one thing was missing. His back tooth was not there. Seems like Garret's obsession with magic immunity came as big minus. He couldn't call again but on the bright side everyone was going to stay around Kirle or at least as he heard."T-Thank you for the help down there." He bowed at Rufus not really sure what to say. He was on a pirate vessel and if he was seen there problems would occur. He thought for a moment then remembered the bounty part. He wasn't sure if it's a good idea to tell them that he didn't exist in any official records. He decided not to following up the statement only with a meek smile. Right now he needed Dorian, Jonathan, Grim Anyone to tell him what to do. Right now the pirates seem to be normal people but is that really? He couldn't decide whether they were the brigands that Arian fights in his many exploits that the other members label as bad. His eyes kept going left to right scanning the place if anyone had a blade pointed at him. Remembering this he ran his hand along his neck and found the sword wound from earlier was just a scratch and the bleeding had already stopped. A slight sigh of relief made it's way out of his throat. Nalia, Grim, Jonathan: outside Kirle "Deuce!" Shouted Grim as he saw the situation but was quickly snapped back to reality when dealing with Nalia. Several more shots were fired and golems taken out.As it happened Jonathan suddenly appeared behind the rampaging berserk girl and stuck a acupuncture needle into her neck causing the summons to immediately retake the form of stone. As that was done he raised a thumbs up signaling the job was done."Damn it all. We lost a man. What do you think? Will we be able to cover up everything?" In response the other merchant shrugged his shoulders and gave a sign around his head that meant cutting their losses and getting out of there before more events can occur."You're joking ... It's Deuce you know ... Dorian's minion, shy kid that doesn't know the world." he clearly tried to put in some emotions but due to the nature of his resurrection he couldn't. The reply he received was something that went on the lines of "that's exactly why we should assume he's dead." The undead leader then picked up Nalia. "We need to get to Langerdon. Dorian probably already had something done to remedy whats happened." again spoke the leader before walking away.
The Unversed 168 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) - Zane - New Empire - currently in Hylvania Zane had just finished taking out the last outpost & took a moment to look around at the town from the high up outpost "Hm...what a pitiful town. Took think this is just the beginning..." said Zane to himself before he warp'd down to the ground seeing heaps of soldiers & rebels battling it out. "Their all fools to the very end" said Zane as a rebel come charging at him with a sword in hand. Zane turned to see him coming towards him but simply didn't move. The rebel went to stab him but the weapon just passed through him, Zane quickly jumped over his head grabbing the rebel by his chin & as Zane come down slamming the rebels head into the ground. Then all of a sudden Zane could see four big assault ships coming through huge portals & taken troops coming through portals on the ground & some of them being a heavy machinegun unit with heavy armor. "Reinforcements...I don't remember asking for reinforcements...Oryx must really want this town. This town will be taken over before dawn at this rate" said Zane to himself right before he continued fighting. - Dark Heart & Sahail (Both Criminal Underworld) - currently in Pandora Dark Heart decided to find Sahail after having sometime to herself in the massive cave & soon found her still pissed off shooting parts off of a statue of a girl with angel wings. "Sahail we're leaving now so stop that" said Dark Heart as she approached Sahail from behind. Sahail just ignored her & continued shooting at the statue "Sahail?..." said Dark Heart "No! your going to explain some things if you want me to follow you!" yelled Sahail in anger. "First of all why did you let that small group of kids we saw in Goldolvia live?, your orders from Zack were to kill all the towns people & the town itself right?, I even help you do most of that. Also I overhear you talking to yourself about fining someone, a girl?" said Sahail as she then pointed both her guns at Dark Heart waiting for her to answer. "...I don't have time for this" said Dark Heart as she then started to walk away form Sahail. Just then Sahail could see a little girl in the far distance playing with other kids. "Hehe, well then I'll just make you answer me" said Sahail as she then moved her left hand pointing her gun at the little girl about to pull the trigger. Just then Sahail's left hand was cut off landing on the ground, Sahail screamed in pain dropping her other gun kneeling to the ground trying to withstand the pain while Dark Heart slowly walked up to Sahail. Dark Heart grabbed Sahail by her throat lifting her to her feet "Listen here Sahail, my heart is just to dark to care for anyone in this world anymore, but my sword does..." said Dark Heart as she then let go of Sahail's throat "Y-you no good, how dare you cut my hand off!" yelled Sahail as she pick up her missing left hand "Here" said Dark Heart as she quickly grabbed Sahail's missing left hand quickly & used some of her black matter from her right arm to reattach her hand to working order again. "As long as I'm around that black matter will keep your hand together, now lets get going Sahail." said Dark Heart as she started to walk in a direction. Sahail moved her left hand a few times while looking at the black matter binding her hand together "Fine then...where are we headed?" asked Sahail finally calming down as she started to follow just behind Dark Heart. "We're headed for the city of elfs known as Shivering Moors." said Dark Heart. Sahail didn't bother asking why & just followed her as the 2 soon were exiting the town of Pandora. - Rei (Neutral) & Yagyu (Seraphim Order) - currently in City of Ruin "Well from what I've seen this lady Rei has extraordinary medical skills, they are close to elf medicine skills I think. In fact it's only thanks to her that I'm here now but I give you the full detail later leader Yev since you wish to greet the others. I'll take Rei with me to the room where we'll talk in private" said Yagyu as she let her leader go to greet the others coming back from Rhasolvich. Yagyu got Rei to follow her inside the base, but before they entered Yagyu couldn't help but look at all the rebel members Yev was greeting off the airship. Yagyu felt a bit uneasy as she looked at each of them but there was one of them that just gave Yagyu bad vibes (Kaspar), but Yagyu shook her head & walked inside with Rei. As Yagyu & Rei entered through the doors they walked pass a few things & one of them being a massive table with heaps of food almost like it was prepared for a special occasion. Yagyu thought to herself as she walked pass the food "Hm, this must be for the members Yev is greeting outside. I wonder how--?!" Yagyu's thoughts were stopped after seeing Rei sitting at the table eating one of the meals that was for some else, "Rei! stop that! I'll get you some food later when we find the room. I hope the person this meal is for doesn't notice it's half eaten..." said Yagyu as she grabbed Rei by her shoulder dragging her away from the table soon entering a hallway as they head to the room. Shulk 8,623 Posted January 12, 2016 Fiora - Messiah Fiora was known for being very calm, and even incredibly shy in most situations. However, hearing Mikhail criticize Eclaire's decisions made her a little upset. She wasn't really angry, but she was prepared to get a little more assertive than usual to defend their commander's plans. "She's thought of what works best for everyone here, and knows what she's doing. Her plan will work, you should have faith in our leader." She wanted to say something to that effect. However, the disgruntled man had left before she would have had the chance to say anything. On the bright side, it meant she'd avoid a conflict, and she wasn't at all used to arguments. She likely would have left a fight more upset than she would have been at the start. Instead, she decided to give her support and be a little more cheerful. "Eclaire... I trust your judgement with these plans. I know that we'll succeed." She smiled, looking into the woman's eyes... Until the potion that Mikhail had given them caught her eye. She remembered his explanation for why they might need it. A-am I... really thought of as being that unreliable? Her smile slowly faded, and was replaced with a more disappointed, upset expression. The idea of one of their soldiers giving Eclaire a potion right in front of the one who would be her own personal healer for the next battle, especially when the healer was as sensitive as Fiora was, wasn't something that the mage liked to think of. Why wouldn't I be able to heal her? I'd be at her side the entire time, wouldn't I...? She continued thinking about that particular exchange, her feelings on the matter visibly noticeable. Allitt - Messiah ... No one else wants to spread a bit of cheer before we head off? Oh well. Allitt stood up and stretched. She could have left now, but there was someone she wanted to see off before then. She made her way over to Victoria and greeted her. "Hey, good luck on your mission. I mean, I'm not sure if you really need it since not messing up is kind of your thing and all, but I might as well say it anyway." She smiled, hoping that last part wouldn't be taken the wrong way. A year ago, Allitt had unexpectedly met Victoria while the girl and Allitt's brother were together at the twins' apartment, and Allitt was rather surprised when she joined the rebellion and saw the same girl was another part of its ranks. Even though they'd only interacted for a moment during their first meeting, Allitt decided to stick around the girl now that they were fighting on the same side. Being around someone who had a connection to her brother at some point did help her ease into Messiah. She had also initially felt compelled to help Victoria out since Indy had chased her out back when the two first met. Allitt did avoid telling the girl that Indy had only really cared about her because of some sort of odd love hypnosis spell he was put under, a fact that she'd learned once her brother had calmed down from his anger. "We'll see each other once the battle's over, alright?"
Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) -Jadis - Messiah - Oathkeeper- The youth's fists clenched tightly at his sides, his eyes failing to meet Eclaire's. Not because he was intimidated; no, he feared it would betray his true feelings. Finally he nodded, swallowing before daring a glance into his commander's face. So certain, so determined, and so committed to her wife. It did fill Jadis with reassurance that Fiora would be well looked after, though he still could not quench the small bit of resentment in his heart. "I understand, Commander Eclaire," said Jadis at last. "I will leave as soon as I'm dropped off at my location. Convincing the dwarves should be possible, though I will admit that I'm still skeptical at their tolerance of an elf." Without awaiting a response the elf began to leave, turning one final glance to Fiora as he left. "Take care," he murmured, before sweeping over the remains of the room and out the door. It was hard to know when would be the last time any of them would see one another, what with all of the outbursts of random attacks and war. Thankfully he knew Fiora would be safe for now. She was the closest person he had left, after all. -Yevgeni and Ava - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin- "That would be me, yes," was Yevgeni's reply to Kaspar's question. So many recruits and in such little time. It was a rather odd coincidence, he thought, though he didn't yet voice his suspicions. Vortludo truly seemed to see the good in this man, and, while he generally liked to trust Vort, he knew the man was too kindhearted for his own good. He would trust many who were unworthy, and give second chances to those who didn't deserve it. However, if he hadn't indeed been the Vort he'd come to know and befriend, he likely wouldn't have accepted him, either. A shadow darkened the Seraphim Leader's face as he turned his gaze to Kaspar, listening to Vortludo's explanation. There certainly was a dark aura around Kaspar, something he'd only encountered during his time in the basement . . . . Could he be . . . ? "A pleasure to make your acquaintance, Kaspar. I would like to invite you to dine with us. It is a homecoming feast to celebrate the return of my good Vortludo and the men and women he'd led to Rhasolvich. There we can further discuss your potential and see if the Seraphim Order is what suits you." Even as he said this, however, he could only wonder if it was a good idea. The shifting of his own soul when he tampered with the dark arts was enough to make him wary, and if this man were within their midst there was no telling what could happen. To him, and the entire Order. Ava already had a slight distaste for Kaspar, even though they had spoken little on the trip. She didn't see how any man tampering with the dark arts could be considered good. True, he might've been a valuable asset to the Order, but still she had her doubts. The raven-haired woman followed along at Vortludo's beckoning, slightly jogging to catch up. "Now, if you don't mind, I'm going to wash up before the feast," she said finally. "Those were some long days in Rhasolvich, and I haven't properly refreshed myself in a while. Keep a spot for me, will you, Vort?" She offered him a small wave over her shoulder as she split paths with the noble and tread up the stairs to her quarters. -Isaac - New Empire - Langerdon - A smile flashed across Isaac's face as he offered a swift nod to Indy. "Alright, sounds good. Thanks, I really appreciate it. We'll see what we can do after these attacks, but if all goes well I'm going to have a little chat with the emperor. I've seen you in combat and I'm liking what you have to offer. After the fall of our other generals, including Teka and Ariana, we have some room left in our ranks for a new face, methinks." The general turned, backing into a door and departing, which followed in leaving the palace and swiftly departing toward home. Unlike the majority of generals he chose not to live on the premises, but rather back in his own abode that him and his wife customized. The property belonged to her parents, and together the two had really made it shine over the years. Isaac heaved a sigh as he slid his key into the lock before turning it, summing up the conversation. Yes, the conversation. Rhea never liked it when he would lead troops, let alone when it involved seizing territory. Of course that was what generals did, and she knew this prior to his signing up, but back when he'd first enlisted war was not upon them. Almost as soon as Isaac reached for the door handle it was already swung open, by none other than a lovely redhead with freckles covering the majority of her nose and cheeks. A wide smile was stretched for him as she retreated further inside to grant him entrance. "Hey, Isaac! How did your conference go? It was rather quick, if I do say so myself. Normally His Excellency has you trapped for a few hours more." She fell short upon noticing the way Isaac entered, wringing his coat in his hands before even placing it on the coat rack. A slight frown furrowed her brows, which only deepened when Isaac abruptly changed the subject. "Ah! Something smells amazing! Is that spaghetti?" "Eggplant parmesan, actually." Rhea crossed her arms, leaning her back against the door to face him. "So, let me guess: His Excellency has sent you off on some wild mission I'm going to hate, hasn't he?" A slight grown escaped Isaac as he threw his machine gun to clatter on the hardwood floor before collapsing on the sofa. "Alright, you got me: you're going to hate it, Rhea." Vaude 536 Posted January 12, 2016 (edited) - Rufus Contralto - Neutral - Outside Krile - Rufus smiled and clapped the young man on the back, grinning back at Lelita with a few notable gaps in his teeth himself. After all, those missing pearly whites were beaten out of him by a wild and rambunctious crew one drunken night, and they were far too far from a dentist, cow farm, or milk in general to return them to his mouth in a glass of white gold. "You see, Lelita? A bona fide engineer is he with a degree and all the fine tinctures of high living, and he even thanks me! I think we all should learn a lesson or two of humility and thankfulness from this young lad." "Oh, you think so?" Lelita countered, charging up to the two with all joy sapped from her face. "Humility and patience, perhaps, but not thankfulness. Look at that pinprick on his neck. Do you think he should thank you for that?" Rufus glanced down, inspecting it for a brief moment before returning his gaze. "Neither thank nor scream at. It was an act, and a terrific one at that! He feigned terror so astutely I thought he was befitting of taking a role in my play! But enough of that. Let's get you some bandages and get you underway to that egg. Lelita, to your post, and you, Deuce to the galley to fetch yourself some grub. I hope you like rocktail soup. You've a malevolent blonde acquaintance with whom to return, and I won't have you return on a queasy stomach." Lelita, fed up with arguing, cast a sad eye at the young engineer before she and the two went in separate directions, her up the stairs to the helm and Deuce being pushed down to the ship's kitchen by the dramatist. Hurst followed Lelita up along with Pogo the first mate and Mullens the ensign, the last of the crew scuttling off the lower deck. "Bandages would be in the galley. Ol' Yella's the best doctor on this tub, having served in the militia for two years as a field medic, but I must inform you to not look into his eyes. He's got"--Rufus glanced about--"problems. Post-traumatic stress disorder, so don't bring up anything about war, don't scream, don't drop anything, and most especially don't look in his eyes." They arrived at the kitchen, the door swinging open with a hydraulic whoosh and the sounds of utensils and clanging pots quickly rising to fill the silent hall. The cook, Ol' Yella, was a whirlwind of speeding black hair, rushing this way and that to gather a meal. He was stubby, stocky, and hairy enough to be a dwarf, and a dwarf he was. "Ol' Yella? I need your help dressing up this young man's wound. Afterwards returning to making rocktail soup is your utmost priority. We are counting on you for both deeds." The dwarf dropped an ugly but wonderfully preserved angler fish on the cutting board and approached with a crazed glint in his eye. Rufus learned to look at him through the periphery of his vision but unfortunately forgot to mention that to Deuce. - Kaspar Ulrich - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin - "A pleasure to make yours as well, and I graciously accept," Kaspar spoke with another bow, a mild curl of a smile residing on his face as Vortludo leaned in to speak with the leader of the Seraphim Order. He was right in his assumption that the young blond was Yevgeni. His eyes darted to the others as he fondled his ring underneath the folds of his sleeves, and a thought overtook him once he was alone with Yev. "My lord, a word, if I may? The trip here has left me fatigued, being in the air and far from the earth where my art holds the most weight and potency. Might I inquire of a room before the feast is to begin, preferably one low to the ground to recuperate?" His was a white lie. While his art did indeed have its most potent power on the ground, it did not tire him, but if it granted him a room at ground level the question was worth it. The deeper or closer to the earth, the stronger the power for Kaspar's dark practices, and in a capital entitled The City of Ruins there would be no shortage of dead to pilfer from the grave. Arya Stark 1,337 Posted January 13, 2016 Vortludo -- Seraphim Order -- The City of Ruin "I will see you there my lady." He said, bowing his head as Ava left. He glanced at a clock on the wall, and noting the time, decided that he would best make his way to his room as well. He wanted to jot down some notes and observations he had found after spending time in the Elven village, as well as resupply and drop off a few new additions to his collection. And he would best trim his beard and moustache back to their proper sizes and appearance. After all, a homecoming feast in the public eye, it wouldn't do to be a mess. His father always taught him that appearances are the most integral piece of your reputation, and while he begged to disagree with much of his father's solely politically minded advice, the lessons still sunk in. Cobica -- Seraphim Order -- The Grand Country of This Dumb "King" Cobica Met As soon as the door opened, Cobica leaped to the ground, ignoring the stairs. "So how exactly did your people get here? Unless you happen to be a race of fish-people, in which case I would assume you'd look a bit more scaly. You can't just swim this deep, and even if you could, you would still need to transport materials and other such things to build the place. So how did this exactly happen? And if you are the most technologically advanced people, then why haven't you expanded from this cavern. Surely your population must make this place rather crowded if your as advanced as you say." Cobica questioned as he glanced about the place, hands shoved in his pocket. Somehow, Cobica was still skeptical, despite the whole show. "And the best question is how you managed to keep it secret? Even the most disciplined men have been known to spill their guts under certain circumstances, and I'm certain that your entire population isn't full of disciplined men. At least one or two must have gone to the surface, had a bit too much to drink, then started spinning tales of your underwater city." Neena -- Tanzynite Crusade "Alright," Neena said with a curt nod. "Then how do you stop the cycle?" She questioned him, her gaze now shifting to the Dreadnought. She ate another piece of her food without letting her eyes leave him. "I know my answer. End tanzynite. But what's yours?" The Crow's Eyes -- Criminal Underworld -- The Imperial Palace "So that's it? We're just abandoning ship?" Kol asked Die after he finished explaining. She raised an eyebrow towards their leader, challenging this decision. But Die tended to not back down from a challenge. "This ship has sailed Kol. Korben fell, and he had the most brilliant minds in the world, the most powerful generals, and a complete choke on the people. Oryx has a bunch of criminals and some demons. The Seraphim Order is moving and we know that Eclaire is alive, hers and the deserter ship were picked up on Lan's satellites." Die said. Lan nodded softly. "It's time to choose the winning side. And I'm certain that that is not this side." Die continued to say, now moving from the middle of the room towards the liquor cabinet on the far end. "Alright! So what did you want from me again?" Scherp asked, rubbing his hands together excitedly. "Listen carefully next time." Heksen answered for Die. "You're coming with me and Kol to the City of Ruin. We're going to introduce ourselves to them there." "Oh right, I forgot. Because he gave us the boring job." Scherp said, glaring at Die's back. The Crow was at this point browsing the shelf with a glass in his hand. "Hey, I'll trade ya." Lan said to Scherp offhandedly as he worked on building a small device on the table. "But we need you Lan. Without you, we don't have a prayer of robbing the vault." Naja said to the Owl as she sharpened one of her knives. Lan waved her off, as if thinking 'whatever'. Kol shook her head again, then stood up. "Well, if that's all, then we'd best be going. Come on boys, we have some diplomacy to complete." The Minx said. "I hate diplomacy." Scherp grumbled softly, getting up himself. Heksen nodded in agreement, and the three began to leave. Die turned back to the others, sipping some of his drink. "We'll wait until tomorrow, after all the good folk are out of town. That'll make it easier for us." He mentioned, then went back to his drink. Lan and Naja nodded slightly in agreement before returning to their tasks. Cyler -- Criminal Underworld -- Road from Langerdon Langerdon had become dull. So many people, yet so little worth to any of it. Not a single strong one in the bunch. He whistled while we walked the country road. He had been walking for a while, hadn't really kept track of the time. He was distant from Langerdon at this point, heading towards the Elven lands. Maybe they had some more exciting things. After all, they were elves, the race of magic. And as much power as he had gotten, he didn't have much magic. The prospect excited him a little. The thought of new powers always did. There was the sound of a truck roaring down the road from behind him. Cyler turned around, and shot out a thumb, like a common hitchhiker. Truckers were always looking for a bit of company. The truck driver rolled to a stop right by Cyler and rolled down the window. "Where are you going?" Cyler asked, his voice different from what it was normally. A bit less imposing, higher pitched. Cyler had learned that this voice helped others trust him. "Biromoore. Got a shipment of ale from the capital." The trucker opened up. Cyler smiled slightly. "Think I could fit in your seat?" Cyler asked. The trucker knitted his eyebrows, then glanced to his shotgun seat confused. "Uh, yeah. You ain't big man." The trucker answered. Cyler shook his head. "I asked about your seat. Then again, if it can fit your fatass, it can fit mine." Cyler answered. And then there was one less soul in the world. Cyler opened the door, and let the body fall out onto the ground. His appearance changed to fit the truck driver's, and he climbed into the seat. The man didn't have much power, but Cyler could feel the wealth of knowledge on how to drive a truck fill his mind. The Serial Killer slammed the door shut, and pressed his foot to the pedal. There was a satisfying squelch and bump soon afterwards, and then Cyler was on his way to Biromoore, with a shipment of ale from the capital. Stark -- The North -- Siege of Hylvania In Hylvania, the attack was going well, very very well. Too well. After all, this was a city that had given itself to the rebellion. You would think that rebels would put up more of a fight. They are rebels after all. A horn blew out of nowhere. Then a ship went down, a huge chain of explosions erupting all across it's bottom. "Reload! Then take out the next one!" Stark cried to his men. They had eight anti-air guns positioned in the woods, and when hit by eight rounds at a time, things tend to go down. "Snipers, take out the heavies first!" He shouted his next order. He began putting on the last details of his armor. "Rangers, head over the walls and bolster the defenses. Take engineers with you. Berserkers, with me. We flank from the left as soon as," A second horn blew, from the right side of the attacking force. "As soon as that." Stark muttered, as from the opposite woods a tank appeared, along with several dozen soldiers. Then he pulled out his blade. "For the North!" He yelled, and ran forward. His Berserkers cried right alongside him, and though small, their force soon crashed into the still reeling Taken and Imperial troops. Stark sliced his sword cleanly through the first Taken he met, killing him immediately. As others began to point their rifles at him, he had already moved, flowing swiftly and cleanly from enemy to enemy. They fell like flies, his Berserkers assisting him. It was not long before their flanking maneuver had shifted the tides of the battle, allowing the Rangers time to get inside Hylvania. It wouldn't be long before the defenses began to reassemble. The heavy machine gun units continued to fall, almost as swiftly as they were appearing, and the tank was dealing heavy damage to those soldiers foolish enough to group together. Suddenly, another barrage of explosions marked the fall of the second assault ship. Stark smiled, but he was unsure if his men could keep this up for long. After all, it was only going this well because of the surprise they had. But if they could get things done quickly enough, and this enemy commander was as poor a strategist as seen so far, then they could win this battle easily enough. Endless Thundaga 533 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) Jynn Venas & Riley Venas (New character)-Seraphim Order Jynn quickly goes to Melstrome's stall and returns to the stairs with the equine on a lead. Jynn stops and listens to Cobica's questions. Quickley, Jynn says, "I'm not allowed to answer your question regarding how the city was built and how it was kept hidden. It's top secret. If I told you, my status will be stripped, and kingship will pass on to the heir. Right now, the heir is a full on imperial, nice guy and all, but I do not want the city to turn towards imperialism. Plus, even if I was allowed to tell, at a time like this, with Oryx in power on the mainland, I cannot take any risks of him finding out." Jynn answers. "However, as a king, I am allowed to bring outsiders here. But there's a catch, once visitors leave, their memories of the city's location is stripped, but they still know it exists." Jynn stops. "And regarding the population, we have plans to actually build a new city on the surface, but the population here is not high enough yet." He continues. Jynn leads Mel to a nearby trailer. The trailer leaves Jynn and Cobica. "JYNN VENAS!" a voice shouts out. Jynn spooks, and turns toward the castle with a young woman, Riley bolting straight to him. "Oh boy......." Jynn whispers. He leans towards Cobica and whispers to him, "Women...... They will ALWAYS find out...." Jynn starts to nervously walk up to Riley. "H-Hey, honey. How is everything running?" Riley stops in front of Jynn and crosses her arms. "Spare me the dull details, Jynn. Where have you been?! And why didn't you notify me that you were leaving?!" she angrily asks. Jynn looks down in embarrassment. "I headed out to the mainland to help with the Rebellion's war efforts. I felt like I was in a hurry. I apologize..........." Riley sighs. "I guess if you are trying to help someone out, I'll forgive you this once, but please let me know when you're about to head out somewhere....." Jynn looks back up at Riley. "I will. I promise, that will be the last time I leave unnoticed." Riley looks over Jynn's shoulder. She starts to walk towards Cobica. "Sorry about the display, my husband sometimes worries me when he leaves the city. Allow me to introduce myself, I'm Riley Venas. You?" She asks. Mystics Apprentice 2,397 Posted January 13, 2016 -Ariana - Neutral - Langerdon - A fresh snowfall blew into Ari's face with frequent wind gusts, causing her to draw her thick robe closer to her reddened face. After many days of recuperating in Godolvia she had surmised a fair amount of her strength, her body more agile and more what it once was prior to her extreme famine. Her cheeks were less hollow, her figure more filled. Her latest mission was not one easily concluded, yet after catching word of these rebels' survival, well, she thought her best bet was to find them. Right now she would take any lead to find Chrysalis's whereabouts, and thus the rebellion. She had caught wind of a group known as the Seraphim Order, but its leader was not Eclaire, and to her understanding Jeremy was not apart of it. Finally she reached the door of the building she sought; a little run-down place that had obviously seen better days. After a moment's hesitation Ari rapped her knuckles against the door, hoping that this was still the residence of Henry and Neena. She could hear a TV playing and voices in a nearby room, so at least it was inhabited. -Yevgeni - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin- A slight smile crossed the Seraphim Leader's face upon Kaspar's request, as he placed a gloved hand across his shoulders and began steering him in the direction of the palace. "But of course, of course. We can do better than get you a room on the ground floor; I could get you a room in the basement, if you so desire. However, I should warn you that those rooms aren't quite as comfortable as our suites on ground level, namely due to their lack of fine lighting and their provisions are more for, ah, dire situations." They entered a hall of grand splendor. A rich red velvet carpet remained underfoot, the light fixture overhead alight and sparking of many crystals. Two guards stood at the entryway of the palace, saluting them as they approached. Yevgeni turned to one casually. "Graham, if you would be so kind to show this gentleman a room in our basement. A fine one, if you will. He is a welcomed guest who is offering his services for our cause." In response the guard bowed lowly, his chain armor clinking as he moved. "Very well, my lord," was his response, before turning his head in the direction of Kaspar. The guard's face was fully hidden under a helm and visor, yet slits indicated that he could still easily see the mage. "Right this way, sir. We shall find a room to your liking." The guard grabbed an old-fashioned torch from the wall, moving in the direction of a long spiraling stairway, leading both up and down. Yevgeni offered Kaspar a nod. "Go on, and please rest as much as you need. I eagerly look forward to our future discussion and joining you to dine this fine evening." -Ava - Seraphim Order - City of Ruin- Humming filled the showers as Ava took a comb through her wet dark locks. It felt so good to soak up the hot water and actually use a bar of soap. In her thick lavender robe she sat on a stool, working her way through her wet hair hair slowly, ensuring that she got all of the tangles. Her thoughts strayed to many things, namely the joy of being back home and . . . the great feeling of loss. Vortludo was good to her, of course, and she liked, no, loved him dearly. However, remorse of what happened and what she did under Teka's commands made her feel like vomiting, and even though Vort trusted her she knew that Yevgeni and others still saw her as a monster. There was no way that she could take back what had happened, nor did she feel she could ever make up for it. Oh, the pain of regret! Eventually the woman rose, eyeing her attire for the evening that she'd brought from her quarters. A midnight-blue gown made of satin and velvet rested in a chair; an heirloom passed on to her from her mother that she had yet to wear. She tugged it over her head and laced the bodice. It was rather old-fashioned and yet modernly stylish as well; a perfect blend that suited her. Soon she exited the room, making her way to the dining hall where she encountered Yagyu and Rei, the latter a new recruit that was helping herself to the food when no one was even yet present! Ava cleared her throat, making her presence known as she shot a glare in the direction of the feasting girl. -Isaac - New Empire - Langerdon- The morning was very young when Isaac slipped out of his home and traveled to the Langerdon Palace. The city was silent, eerily so, and the palace was hardly any more lively. The sky was still black, a gentle snow falling. The general greeted all that he did see in the palace quarters, and eventually arrived at the airship docks. This is where he was to meet his men, and where many of them already awaited him. 4 o'clock in the morning was rapidly approaching, and if Kinzoku and Indy weren't already there, they should be arriving at any moment. "Good morning, my fine men and women. Today is one of glory for the New Empire, for we shall take back what is rightfully ours, and restore order to what had formally been lost." He stood to the side, eyeing the doorframe to watch as more of his men arrived for the early siege of Kaipora.
rikunobodyxiii 700 Posted January 13, 2016 {Ciriel - Oathkeeper, departing} Ciriel listened to Eclair's orders, alternating looking at the maps and the other assembled soldiers. She liked people and counted a few there as friends. Some of the reactions she saw worried her, but she kept her mouth shut. They would need to make their own peace. "Will do, Commander." The Angel said after some of the other soldiers trooped out. "I'll go collect some lost souls. Since you won't be staying safe, stay lucky." With that light hearted quip, Ciriel left the conference room and headed for the hanger. She picked out a stealth pod that would drop her close to Langerdon. As she climbed in and keyed up the coordinates, she considered her words from before. "Collect some lost souls." Why did that feel familiar? She wasn't sure what kind of Angel she had been before her fall, nor who she served. The familiarity she felt for collecting souls slightly worried her. She kept wondering about it as she strapped into the pod and was shot off for her mission. {Keyes - Outside Krile} Keyes walked for the exit, but stopped when Rufus teleported away with Deuce. More people turned up, obviously concerned for their missing compatriot. "He went willingly." The Tenno told Grimand Jonathan. "He apparently wanted to defuse the situation without bloodshed. Admirable, but impractical." With that, Keyes resumed heading out of the ruin.
Saber Lily 1,543 Posted January 13, 2016 (edited) -Eclaire- She herself was about to leave so she may speak with Fiora alone, but all best laid plans have their bumps. One of said bumps was a soldier burst in, panting. "Kaipora and Hylvania are under attack!" She cried. "We just received Intel from our contacts, Hylvania is under seize early and Kaipora is about to become encircled!" Eclaire slammed her fist on the table. Hylvania could be sacrificed early, but Kaipora was the Orders beachhead and where at least half their retrofit airfleet was stationed. Eclaire had been counting on taking that fleet back, to solidify her position. She took a slow, steady breath...and hit AllCom, connecting to all Messiah operatives around the globe. "This is Eclaire Tonnerre. Moments ago I was told Hylvania and Kaipora are under attack. These locations were imperative to our ultimate goals, and as such, they cannot fall. Ryonne, the moment you finish with the Sahala plant, head to Kaipora and assist all rebels in holding the city. Allitt, divert to Hylvania the moment you finish your job in Feldspar. Find and direct all rebels together and help form a united front. Find the best leader amongst them. You bring people together, Allitt. I trust you." She took a breath. "Mikhail, hold at Luin for now. Caladbolg with divert to assist Hylvania. Chrysalis, hold the corridor open once you are done; Jeremy will assist. Victoria, commenced combat hyper jump immediately. I don't know what's going to be at Kaipora, but stay on the fringe and ready yourself for battle. Let them focus on the Order before you engage. Caladbolg is weapons free." She looked at Fiora. "Myself, Fiora, and the Razgriz will continue our mission to liberate Shivering Moors. And Jadis. Bring those dwarves back. Fiora will meet you in Woodarc with any allied forces. I need you, Jadis, to retake the Lux peninsula for Messiah." She closed her eyes, breathing. "There is no failure. There is only victory! For with us fights the Goddess of Victory herself! Upon us shines the Goddess of Light! Together we are invincible. We survived the first war, survived Oryx's invasion, and together we will prevail. Go forth, my friends. Commenced operation - Awakening of the Trailblazer." Sasha and Victoria had used the speech to return to their ships. Hyperdrivesalready charging up, Sasha hit the com. "Caladbolg to Messiah Actual; engaging hull color. We now will permanently fly the flag of Messiah." "This is Kusanagi. The flag of Orience shall fly with Messiah, and together we shall reclaim this world." Eclaire Tonnerre looked to Fiora...and smiled. "Good luck everyone. Godspeed." -Sasha Valentine- The Hyperdrives deposited the Caladbolg in the middle of Hylvania's melee. As Stark's AA guns took down an assault ship, the Caladbolg waded in, 5he main guns of the heavy destroyer ripping apart a damaged Imperial vessel. Sasha turned her comm to local. "This is Captain Valentine of the Messiah Destroyer Caladbolg to all rebels in the area. Pull back to Hylvania and fortify outer perimeter - Caladbolg will be deploying ground troops and air cover immediately." She then let out a smile. "I come bearing news, Rebels. Your Seraphim Order has been I'll informed." Caladbolg ripped apart the Assault Ship, and turned its attention to the next in a full broadside. Dropship and fighters streamed down, raining fire upon the Imperials. Sasha looked upon the battlefield. Werewolves. Imperials. Rebels. Elves. It was time to bring them together under a true leader. "Once that last ship is down I want us positioned facing the enemy forces. We will make a kill zone they must cross to reach out forces." -Victoria du L'ete- Victoria looked at Allitt...and blushed. "...quiet, or I'll decide I want to make both of the Caelum twins mine." And she disappeared. As the ships approached Kaipora, the Kusanagi appeared near the stratosphere, and waited out of sensor range. Orience had lost to numbers, but the country had been on the way to even greater technological advances than the Korbenic Empire. Her sensors, while prototype, still allowed her mild amounts of data that assisted. Once the Empire was focused on Kaipora... "Kirin. Jazz. Prepare for full combat engagement. This is what we trained for." Her two mech pilots nodded and their feeds cut. Victoria waited, and reached out with her powers. For what her s3nsors could not tell her, the ability to read the flow of battle could. Edited January 14, 2016 by Sabre Lily
Endless Thundaga 533 Posted January 14, 2016 (edited) Jynn Venas-Seraphim Order Jynn's phone starts to ring. After finishing the call, he runs up behind Riley. "I'll let you two get acquainted, SATURN has new intel to share." Jynn whispers to her. He then runs to his plane. Upon entering, SATURN chimes in, "Your majesty, I have picked up new readings on the mainland. I think you may want to hear this." Jynn goes to the cockpit and shuts the door. "What is it? Is it an emergency?" he asks. "No sir. According to the readings, there is an unknown air force that is also against the Empire." Jynn wonders, "Are they part of the Rebellion or Seraphim Order?" The computer replies, "I don't know. I can't answer that question. In order for me to figure that out, you're going to need to find out yourself. But I recommend that you stay with the Seraphim Order." Jynn opens the door to the cockpit. "Alright. But we should be heading back to the Kingdom of Orience soon. SATURN replies, "Yes sir." Jynn runs back to Riley and Cobica. Edited January 15, 2016 by Khdude
