I keep hearing that Kingdom Hearts 3 will be moved to a 2017 release date instead of 2016. 

 

If It is released sometime in 2017, then I reckon it will be in late 2017.

There was no news of a 2016 release.

No one said that KH3 would be released 2016    We'll get 2.8 this year, so KH3 will be released 2017/2018

If KHIII was ever released in 2016, I'd personally hunt Nomura down.

 

They would never release it in 2016. It has never been slated for a 2016 release. It has always been theorized that it is a 2017 release we're getting, the release date has already been decided upon, I reckon if we're lucky we might get a release year confirmed this year.

It wasn't "moved" to 2017. It was always the case. A 2016 release would yield unsatisfactory in terms of development.

This title is very false-ish( I didn't believe it since I have common sense, but there are people on here who may lack that and assume it's official news without reading the forum itself). You didn't even place a question mark and simply made a statement for the title. Be more careful next time man,

Boy, it was never confirmed for ANY year, let alone this year. It's kind of impossible to "move it to 2017" when you never confirmed it for 2016 in the first place. Now it's likely that it might come out in 2017 at the earliest, but that is just based on shared guesses and observations by everyone else. Square nor Nomura have even mentioned a date yet. Just gotta wait.

As everyone else has said "Moved" implies it was ever set for 2016 to begin with. Before 2.8 was announced 2016 was our best guess based on the "one game a year" rule now that 2.8 is confirmed as the 2016 game our best guess in 2017.

It was never meant for 2016 at all. If anyone has said that, it would be websites that have no sources and make this stuff up for publicity while claiming a source, but never giving it.

Wait until E3 or Tokyo Game Show, we might get a release date then.

KH3 will get a 2017/2018 release. Everything else would be highly unlikely and it would lead to less sold units of KH 2.8 FCP. Thats pretty simple economics.

And the point of why we get 2.8 is to make the wait for KH3 a little less horrible for us.

I am desperately hoping that we're able to get Kingdom Hearts III in 2017, because I find that release year to be perfect!  I'm pretty sure it'll be released next year, I can feel it in my gut!

 

But yeah, I don't recall the game ever having been announced for this year.  You must have probably thought so because of that fake leak for a Winter 2016 release that had hit last year!

There is no official release date of Kingdom Hearts 3. BUT I hope it does come out in 2017, although they should take as much time as they really need. They did have to switch engines in 2014.

December 2017/January 2018 seems to be the best bet. Heck, it could even be a launch title for the NX too.

I also get this news from my timeline in my facebook, lot of people said that KHIII would be released (probably) in 2017. I'm also not sure about the truth of this news, so I would rather to keep waiting for the official news from SE or updates in either E3 or TGS.
