Probably been asked before, but I'm genuinely interested to see everyone's responses. 

 

Are there any characters you like from FF that you thought they should've included?

I'm a big Cloud fan and I want to see the Cloud Sephiroth battle come to an end so that's a definite one. Squall, Yuffie, Aerith, and Cid are probably really likely. Hopefully we get to interact with Tidus, Wakka and Selphie on Destiny Islands. Besides that I think Lightning is pretty likely since there are so many FFXIII games. I'd enjoy seeing The Onion Knight character from FFIII or I think Cecil from FFIV could fit in nicely with his light vs. darkness personal conflict

Sephiroth and Cloud would be awesome, i would also like Lightning to make an appearance since she's my favorite FF character

Exdeath or some other antagonist, I'm not happy with just having Sephiroth (and Seifer sort of).

Personally, I want to see some more final fantasy ix characters. But if they add more final fantasy characters that we haven't seen before in kh3 I'd be pretty happy either way lol

definitely another Final Fantasy IX character, hopefully with more story relevance like the FF characters in Hollow Bastion from KH2. my personal bias aside, honestly i'd be fine with any new FF characters coming into the series so long as they aren't just cameos. That just feels like a waste of the source material imo. KH2 Hollow Bastion did it right by giving the FF characters a little subplot of their own and making them more active. 

 

it would also be cool to get another secret boss from a Final Fantasy game. idk who else would make for a fun fight but if SE can make it work then i say go for it.

Beside any of the characters that appeared in a previous KH game anybody would be fine with me but it'd like to see an other villain and have him as a boss fight like Sephiroth

YES! I liked almost everything about FF5 better than FF6. Everyone wants Kefka, and I guess I'd be ok with it but Exdeath>.

6 just didn't have the same character interaction that 5 had in my opinion. 5 had the better towns, plot, villain, the best soundtrack in an FF game, and probably one most will disagree with in characters. Everyone says 5's characters are forgettable, and they are, but they are still a lot better than 6's IMO.

I recently replayed 6 and it is a true masterpiece, but there's something that makes me prefer 5. The ending in 6 wasn't brilliant, even though the overall story was amazing. 6 is plain easy, I've literaly managed to beat Kefka with just Terra (no where near max level, just as soon as I reached the final boss), Auto Life is too OP. And I think the job system in 5 made it very unique, in 6 all of your characters could have every single spell, and the only way to make them different was the original attack of each character, while in 5 you would personalize completely your character. Also Exdeath > Kefka in my opinion

You put money on Lightning and Noctis being introduced at some point.  Other than that I would love to see Caius, Noel, and Vincent.

Yeah, most people agree 5's job system is better than 6's and maybe the best combat in the series. Most people prefer story to gameplay though(KH is a good example), and most people like 6's story better. I prefer 5's, and I think it's the same reason I like Kh1>2. Simplicity.

From the looks of it I wouldn't mind a Noctis/Sora fight. I feel like it'd be pretty cool just based off each others abilities.

There are quite a few characters I'd really like to see:

 

FFI- Warrior of Light, and Garland

FFII- Firion, Minwu, and Emperor Mateus

FFIV- Cecil, Kain, Rydia, Edge, and Golbez

FFV- Bartz, Faris, Galuf, and Krilie

FFVI- Locke, Celes, Edgar, Sabin, and Kefka

FFIX- Zidane, and Kuja

 

But I have a feeling seeing any of these characters in KH3 is almost nonexistent.

I won't lie, I do like FFVI better, but I do really love FFV!  I'm glad that there are other people that also enjoy FFV, because most people I've met either hate it, or more often have never even played it.

Indeed, VI is a masterpiece, but there are things in V I like more.  The world and the gameplay I like much more in V than VI, but the story in VI is much superior to V's (I still like the story in V)  The characters in both games I really like, but I felt that VI gave more character development.

 

And yes, the ending in VI was awful.  It had such a great story and character development, but the ending is so lackluster and too open ended.  Also, like you said, VI is ridiculously easy; honestly, it felt like the game was treating me as an inept five year old that never held a game controller before.

Characters I want to see include Vincent Valentino, Caius Ballet, Lightning Pegasus and Noctis Luscious Cape!  Ooh, I'd also love to see Cecil Harvey Dent and Golbat!

That's just a few of the ones I'd like to see!
