Kingdom Hearts 3 is probably a few years away from release and I find that they made a mistake announcing it to be honest. I've been waiting for this game, and I'm sure all of us have, to release for about ten years. Ten years of prequels, which I've enjoyed. Yet I can't help to feel kind of disappointed.. I read an interview of Todd Howard, who's the director of Fallout 4, and his statement towards announcing games too early is pretty much me right now..

 

 

“While you’re making a game, you’re figuring out, ‘OK, what’s really good about it?’ ‘What’s this?’ ‘What’s this?’ If you’re talking about that too early, people aren’t getting excited, they’re getting anxious.”

 

 

I'm still excited for Kingdom Hearts 3 to release, don't get me wrong, I will never not be excited.

Didn't they say before that they felt KH3 was announced too early? 

Besides, the long wait will be worth it, there are TONS of other games you could be playing whilst you wait for KH3.

I'm no longer excited for it, so yeah, I have to agree with every single word you've said.

I agree, that was made only to get people to buy a PS4. Even Nomura said it was too early, so why bother?

Next year. I don't think we need to worry at all. We do have plenty of games coming out this year to quicken the wait.

I'm pretty sure it's coming out late next year, but 2018 is still a strong possibility. I think it'll be out in about two and a half years at most, but that wasn't really your point so I'll shut up now.

 

I would say that I don't care when it comes out at this point either, but that's only because of a very specific issue that none of you guys have to deal with.

Hopefully it will be worth it, and that it will exceed my expectations and everyone else's. If it doesn't.... well.. crap. I just hope they don't screw this up.

At least they're keeping up updated on the progress.  I think that's kinda cool.

You do know that Brave and Frozen have yet to be confirmed right? Frozen is pretty obvious, but either way, they have yet to be confirmed.

Well, they shouldn't have shit to do with it anyway. To hell with them 358.2%!

I believe once HD2.8 is out of the way, KH3 is next. SQEX and Nomura have said HD2.8 is the last before KH3.

I been waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 since I finish Kingdom Hearts 2 back in 2006. Then seven years later they finally announced that Kingdom Hearts 3 was finally in development back in June 2013, Hey if I can wait seven years for the announcement then I can definitely wait for the official release date in the next year or two. I'm still super excited for Kingdom Hearts 3 because having a early announcement is much better than wondering if Kingdom Hearts 3 is going to be made or not in my opinion. Besides having KH: 1.5 Remix and KH: 2.5 Remix and waiting for the upcoming KH: 2.8 is the perfect way for me to wait for Kingdom Hearts 3, in fact I'm actually more excited for KH: 2.8 Final Chapter Prologue than Kingdom Hearts 3 at the moment because I'm so excited to play Dream Drop Distance on my big screen TV with my surround sounds! I understand that everyone is waiting for Kingdom Hearts 3 and they really want to play the game but come on there's a lot of things for you guys to do and wait for Kingdom Hearts 3, like playing other games, hangout with friends by watching movies, TV, and anime, read a book, or enjoying your life. Plus if you think about it, the more you think about Kingdom Hearts 3 release date, the more impatience you guys feel. It's best for you to stop thinking about it because I'm telling you, if you stop thinking about it and just enjoy your life then one of these days Kingdom Hearts 3 official release date will pop right in front you.

Let's be fair, okay? No one actually announced KH3 in 2006. Not to say it was never hinted at, but we didn't even get our first goddamn trailer. Not only that, but 2006 also left us with two blank slates for BbS and 358/2 Days. Not only that, but almost every year after 2009, a KH game has come out.

 

Versus XIII was announced ten years ago, not KHIII. It was simply fan expectation that it would come out.

Well, in terms of myself, I know that I'll always be hyped up for Kingdom Hearts III, no matter what!  I mean sure, the wait can be agonizing, and at times it just makes me want to rip off my arm and flail it with my other arm at unsuspecting people, or it makes me want to go on a killing spree, cuz hey, I'm the Merc With A Mouth, so I can do whatever I want and I don't have to worry about getting hurt, cuz I heal pretty fast!

 

But yeah, heading back on topic, the wait sure has been long, and even Nomura himself said that he felt that he announced KHIII too early, ya know?  But, what's done is done, but to be fair, at least we've been getting updates on the game's progress little by little, ya know?  I'm confident KHIII's gonna be the game we've all been waiting for, and while it probably won't be 100% perfect, it'll be perfect in my eyes, cuz it's the glorious conclusion to the Geezernort Saga!  So yeah, I'll always be hyped up for the game, and when we get news at this year's E3, I'm probably gonna have a real fuzzy feeling in my lower regions!

 

But yeah, I don't worry too much about it, though, since I'm distracted with other games, and I watch anime and read books a lot, so my mind's always on different things, which makes the wait for KHIII bearable, ya know?

I don't mind the wait, I don't think it was announced too early, because in all likelihood it's coming out next year, I think Nomura said it was announced too early as when he was still working on the game because there would be tremendous gaps in between games

I´m a very patient person. Whether they have announced KHIII ealy or later it doesn´t matter at all, you will be waiting regarless of when it´s announced.

 

Many will say that they should announce a game when its almost done with completion, like Fallout 4 did in E3 2015 and them release 5 months later. However, that doesn´t change the fact that Fallout 3 came out on 2008.
