Fist off, I would like to apologize for not being able to do the Throwback Thursday post last week. My Dr. increased my thyroid pill dose and my body doesn't agree with that. I've got one for this week though.

 

Anyway, on the the poll. I wouldn't rule anything out. As long as they keep Cure, I'll be happy.

In response to the Poll, I want to see brand new spells, either originating from KH3 itself, or from other games like Final Fantasy or Dragon Quest.

 

I hope they introduce the Ruin spell to the Kingdom Hearts series one day!

But seriously, as long as you factor in the elements of fire, ice, WATER, thunder, wind, earth, plant, time, gravity, magnet, poison, sleep, illusion, protection, holy, meteror, death, healing, light, dark, dawn, and twilight, I will be satisfied. Although it would also be cool to be introduced to some new kinds of spells too. It'd be nice to get ones like space and nil/nothingness, so you could have all the elements of Org XIII. It would also be cool to get some kind of special creative spells like Spark and Balloon from DDD, as well as expand on status effect spells. And being able to combine spells into special attacks like in DDD and X would be awesome too.

 

Whether they be new spells from previous Final Fantasy games or new ones created from KH3, I would like to see a whole bunch of new to go with the old. And of course lots of variety and creativity with all spells involved.

 

But most importantly again, GIVE ME WATER PLEASE!!

If there's any of a new command it should be something with a ground (or earth) element.

If that's not the case, CANDY SOLVES EVERYTHING!!!!!

I think there will be at least a few new spells, given each new title tends to have a tidbit of something new and it would be rather dull without.  Personally I would enjoy seeing something new, but am not too particular either way.

I would honestly think this to be an obvious answer, but I would say yes. With the new Attraction Flow and improved Flowmotion, there's no way they wouldn't add at least one new spell. After all, why would Sora go through all that training to be a Keyblade Master without bothering to improve his magic? Besides, some of the worlds in KH3 will likely deal with magic so I imagine he would gain new spells along the way if not right off the bat.

I think it's fair to say that we could expect to see some Final Fantasy spells make their way into Kingdom Hearts III!  I mean, well, technically we've gotten Bind, Sleep, Slow and we've gotten Blackout, which is supposed to be Blind, so yeah!  

 

But for Kingdom Hearts III, I think it's safe to say we'll get spells that cross over into the Ja or Za territories, since Dream Drop Distance crossed that line with Zero Graviza, ya know?  And given the implementation of Keyblade transformations, we could probably see some unique blend of magic working in there for good measure, ya know?

I think there will be new spells along with the original ones. Since there is so much new insane content for the battle system, the odds are they will add some crazy new spells.

I would think so yes. They are most likely going to use some spells from Final Fantasy and change them around for the ARPG setting; maybe they will even use spells from FFXV lol since thats already an ARPG. I hope they add Full-Life, Death, Surge, Flare, and Megaflare

I wouldn't mind it if there is new spells.

 

It's quite likely, I see it happening, but they'll be from FF or something.

I just want the reflect speel to comeback. Maybe also some of the ravanger abilities from ff xiii would be cool

Well as long as I have seen in the trailers, most spells will be displayed a little differently than in previous KH which is already refreshing, but yeah I think there will be since mostly every KH game has new spells:

 

KH - Regulars

KHCoM - Regulars / Sleights

KH358/2Days - Regulars in different forms

KH2 - Reflect and Magnet / Regulars in different forms

KHBBS - Zero Gravity

KHReCoded - Debug ability

KH3D - Balloon

 

We´ve already seen that Aero will be displayed as a little whirlwind instead of air covering you, Blizzard makes an ice trail, Fire moves around or like making a curve. Not to mention there is this on weird thing displayed in the last trailer, during the Mysterious Tower scene where Sora kinda fails to create what it seems to be a colorful balloon which can confirm the return of this spell (which I would love ). So yeah I think there will be new spells such as Water and Earth based abilities
