Posted March 29, 20169 yr As the title says, as of the D23 Premium theater-The staff are 90% Osaka and 10% Tokyo. Also, where have the other members of the Tokyo team gone? Are they working on XV and FF7 remake?
March 29, 20169 yr The answer to that question is yes. SE already confirmed that the team that's making FF XV(the KH Team) will help make KH3 after FF XV is released.

Can you please link me the source or tell me where you got that info? I'd like to see for myself, not that I don't trust you Tails
March 29, 20169 yr If this is true then kh3 may just get that mid to late 2017 release date that people are hoping for!
March 29, 20169 yr Development will double the speed once Final Fantasy 15 has been released. After the official release date, we can speculate Kingdom Hearts releases more accurately.
March 29, 20169 yr Maybe they'll fix Osaka's floaty fight animation problem. Maybe they'll fix Osaka's everything problem.
March 29, 20169 yr Author Maybe they'll fix Osaka's floaty fight animation problem. This is what I'm really hoping for.
March 29, 20169 yr I'd imagine they will. It would only be natural for that to happen since they are the team that has worked on KH and KH2. They have to help with KH3.
March 30, 20169 yr Can you please link me the source or tell me where you got that info? I'd like to see for myself, not that I don't trust you Tails Well it was a few years ago when that info was announced. So it's kinda hard to find the sources for the info I just gave you. But I'll keep looking.

Good God man, do you know how happy this makes me!? This means that a late 2017 release date for Kingdom Hearts III doesn't seem impossible! I NEED IT!!! X_X
March 30, 20169 yr Good God man, do you know how happy this makes me!? This means that a late 2017 release date for Kingdom Hearts III doesn't seem impossible! I NEED IT!!! X_X Yeah it will be awesome! Though it still surprises me that people didn't hear about this before already lol
March 30, 20169 yr Yeah it will be awesome! Though it still surprises me that people didn't hear about this before already lolI think it's more that things change from when they say this stuff. Up until a year ago, we didn't know they were doing KH2.8, for instance, so we assumed the team was working on KH3, like they said. So while it's likely, stuff can change internally that we don't hear about.

March 30, 20169 yr It has been confirmed (in an interview after E3 2013, if I recall correctly) that the team working on FFXV will join the Osaka team once FFXV is completed, therefore doubling the speed on making KH3. Even if this weren't to happen, I have full fate in the Osaka team at this point as it has been stated in another interview that they learned why KH 1 and 2 were such popular games and praised for their gameplay while working on the HD Remasters. This can also be proven from the latest KH3 trailer, showing Sora with a pretty decent dodge roll (which doesn't look like it can be spammed like in BBS) and block. But for those who don't have fate, they can have fate in the fact that the team working on FFXV will aid the Osaka team eventually, can check on their work and fix any issues they had beforehand. Yeah I understand what you mean, in BBS and DDD the characters had their own guard styles but in the latest KH3 trailer Sora had his KH2 guard.
March 31, 20169 yr Yeah it will be awesome! Though it still surprises me that people didn't hear about this before already lol Nope, I hadn't heard about it! I feel kinda dumb for not knowing about this, ya know? X3 But yeah, it's reassuring to know that Kingdom Hearts III will be getting more manpower behind it! Thus, development will pick up quite a bit!
March 31, 20169 yr I wonder, then, if March 2017 could be a realistic date. It looks like they've gotten a a decent amount so far with what they've shown us, especially considering they've already had to switch engines. But even if production speed doubles, that only leaves about 5 months of faster production, since they probably want to have a final version ready about a month before release. Basically, the rest of development, as of now, would realistically only have 11 months, if, in fact, Nomura is aiming for a March 2017 date. Still, beyond what's been shown thus far, we don't know the true progress that's been made, so maybe there's still hope for an anniversary release.
March 31, 20169 yr Development will double the speed once Final Fantasy 15 has been released. After the official release date, we can speculate Kingdom Hearts releases more accurately. Final Fantasy 15 is releasing at September 30th 2016 Now, let's hypothetically predict Kingdom Hearts III: I'm guessing it will be December 2017.
March 31, 20169 yr Final Fantasy 15 is releasing at September 30th 2016 Now, let's hypothetically predict Kingdom Hearts III: I'm guessing it will be December 2017. Change that to August or October and we got a deal.
March 31, 20169 yr Change that to August or October and we got a deal. August or October sounds about right but with Square you never know. And skip Christmas consumers? are you guys out of your minds? Kingdom Hearts III needs to sell a heavy load of units to keep the series relevant to the general population. Knowing Disney and Square Enix, they would best capitalise their sales for Kingdom Hearts III during December as most people are buying then. You also have to consider Christmas deals too: the finance is too perfect to not place it for a December sale. Great for time (so they can fix bugs) and it's still in 2017.
March 31, 20169 yr Author Final Fantasy 15 is releasing at September 30th 2016 Now, let's hypothetically predict Kingdom Hearts III: I'm guessing it will be December 2017. Here's what I personally think is likely to happen: XV had 5 TRAILERS in one night plus a ton of other stuff revealed, there's no reason for it to be at E3. Anymore information will be kind of spoilery, there's been a good 7-8 trailers now? Plus Tabata has given away a fair amount in interviews, there's been 2 demos also as of now. If it is at E3, they should just show last night's trailers again. There's no need to give us anything else besides a launch trailer, i'm perfectly content with everything we've received. So that leaves the spotlight for FF7 remake, 2.8 and KH3, as well as Star ocean 5 since it releases in NA around 1-2 weeks after E3. So, KH3 gets a cool little trailer, we see progress. 2.8 gets a release date, then at Jump Festa or TGS a 2017 release window is announced, along with a KINGDOM HEARTS 3 FAN EVENT in the month of march, since it will be KH's 15 anniversary at the end of march 2017. It would be perfect to announce the release date there, I'm guessing October/November 2017, there's no point in making a fan event and saying 'Oh the game is coming out next year'. I think this has a good chance of happening, KH3 made people go crazy at last year's E3. Those tickets to a fan event will sell like hotcakes.
