June 19, 20169 yr doesn't worldwide release mean we're getting the game at the same time regardless on where you live? Edited June 19, 20169 yr by Zeldablade7
June 19, 20169 yr It should be simultaneous since it's worlwide release. But I think it will take a day or two before getting it everywhere.
June 19, 20169 yr Well, time zones are wacky and if Japan is 13 hours ahead of NA (or what Google says 13 hours ahead if you live in Washington DC), then they will have to match all the time zones together to make one simultaneous release. I am not a math geek and I very bad with numbers so don't expect some big number problem from this post. If you have all seen the leak, it is apparently releasing on December 6th 2016. But can't believe all leaks.
June 20, 20169 yr Worldwide releases usually mean 1-3 days, to account for time zones and when new games release in different markets.
June 20, 20169 yr Like with World of Final Fantasy in North America comes two days earlier then in Japan. Maybe we could get it a few days earlier then Japan? I don't think so but it could happen.
June 20, 20169 yr I'm not really that fazed by the difference between the Japanese and North American release. I don't believe it will be same day release. Looking at examples like Final Fantasy Type-0 HD and World of Final Fantasy, I'd expect SE to simply release the game a few days apart in each region. No doubt Europe will get it last though.
June 20, 20169 yr 7 days. Cuz why not? Lol, symbolism for the 7 Guardians Of Light is always a possibility! But yeah, there'd probably be a week long gap between Japan and us, though I also think that we could just get the game two or three days later!
June 20, 20169 yr doesn't worldwide release mean we're getting the game at the same time regardless on where you live? Not always, I think it depends of the distribution of the games for example with Pokemon ORAS. Europe got them some days later
June 20, 20169 yr doesn't worldwide release mean we're getting the game at the same time regardless on where you live? Nomura said that Japan might get it a little bit earlier, but that it will be so close to the rest of the world that it may as well be simultaneous. This leads me to believe that Japan will get the game first in December (gee, what a surprise, even when we're all supposed to get it at the same time, Japan still gets it first ), soon followed by the United States and everyone else within either a few days to a week after the Japanese release. It won't truly be a worldwide release in the traditional sense (keep in mind that they said it would be a "worldwide release in DECEMBER", not a specific date in December), but it'll still be a lot closer together than previous international releases have been in the past, with months and months existing between regional releases...or in some cases years and years when it comes to the Final Mixes. We might not ever get our version of a KH game as Japan will, but at the very least we have a chance of getting them really really close together for a change.
June 27, 20169 yr Given how Nomura phrased it, I would say that it wouldn't be much more than a week between releases.
