I was just think what if every game in the KH series was Xehanort's story of Kingdom Hearts. Maybe he got a hold of a Book of Prophecy and decides to tell it to Eraqus during their chess match? Then throughout KH III we keep coming back to them playing their game? So essentially what if the KH series is Xehanort Telling it to Eraqus and all of the events have not happened yet?

We already have enough mindrapes in this series, we don't need another one.

True but with Nomura who knows?

In a series that has been tainted for me by the endless supply of Xehanort doing nothing but talking, the last thing I want is for the narrative of KH3 to be driven by Xehanort talking.

seems strange for this series

In all honesty, that makes no sense. How could that be? Xehanort's telling of the series? That makes no sense.

This could make sense in the future games, like after KH3 where we find out Xehanort becomes a good guy? I don't know about the current saga however.

Xehanort becoming good in the end? No offense, but for a guy who's taken over a handful of worlds filled with children and innocent civilians with darkness, a man who's keen on living forever by stilling other people's lives even when they're quite young, a man who took people's lives to create an Organization, have them work as slaves, then turn them into one of his own, a man who sent horrifying creatures all over the worlds to terrorize and hunt people down, and a man so keen for power over all worlds and people, I don't see how he can become good in the end at all xD this old (badass) fart is gonna get what's coming to him, and good.

Could be possible he was taken over by darkness and when Sora shows him the light, the darkness inside him is released and he becomes good. :P -- If that happens, all he's done bad will go away

Probably won't happen but I think that's a cool idea!

... Possibly. Never know Nomura xD However, I still think this man has been evil since from the very beginning... still think it's going to go the way it should- and that's Xehanort continuing on with his evil plan, while taking things much more further than before, while leading to his destined end at the very finale of the game, hence the end of the Xehanort saga, announced by Nomura himself. That will make KH3 feel more fresh and would officially end all the twists and turns caused by the saga xDJust noticed this post kind of relates to that controversal topic about "If Lea should live or die in KH3 xD"

It would be a revelation to say the least. Also Birth By Sleep would be a bit bizarre; with Xehanort essentially saying ' by the way mate; I'm going to turn your apprentice to embrace the darkness; cause another one to be trapped in the RoD and cause the other to end up in a deep a slumber and by the way I kill you.' Surely if that was the case; every if events are fixed etc Eraqus would attempt something else.
