What should the new villain be like after KH3?

Posted

Just as the topic says. No lingering form of Xehanort, first of all, cause he's gonna get what he deserves in KH3. Secondly, this has to be a fresh, original idea. What could this villian be? What would be his or her intentions? Will they get reincarnated up to six times?

I think as many, many others have stated before is to have a light based villain. And hell even a new original MC instead of Sora. Sora could still play a major role but not the MC kind of like with Tiz in Bravely Second

A brand new villian obviously. Someone from the light actually sounds good. It would be interesting to see how that will play out.

Again, it would be a good idea to have a villain who used Light. I think a female Big Bad would be interesting. Also, unlike Xehanort, she shouldn't be obviously evil. Maybe we would meet her during KH3, and we thought she was a good guy, only for her to betray the heroes once Xehanort was dealt with.

Kairi dies and Sora goes crazy. Bam, new villain.

Vanitas and a group of evil keyblade wielders. Vanitas should become the Vegeta of Kingdom Hearts :D.

Anti-Keyblade Organisation, or Maleficent finally becomes the main villain (Ha!). Hard to think of possible villains.

Nah...I just can't see that. Maybe as a secret boss, sure, but during the story? Also, in my opinion, a villain of light kind of defeats the purpose of Kingdom Hearts, that being the themes of light battling the darkness.

Not happening. Nomura said that Sora would continue to be the protagonist of the series. No, I don't have the link.

It is true you know :).

I really have no clue. This new villain could have something related in regards to the sixth apprentice. I really have no clue.

I like the idea of a Light Villain. I remember Mickey and Riku's musing back in Chain of Memory that 'the darkness isn't necessarily evil and light cannot exist without darkness' or something along those lines (I'm paraphrasing). Of course by Dream Drop Distance it implies that Riku is controlling his /evil dark urges/ rather than embracing his darkness so ahhh I'm at a loss.

I like the idea that neither side is inherently good or bad it's just what you do with it. After all every heart (except Princesses of Hearts and Ventus) have darkness in them and I'm getting sick of all this 'dark is bad so your bad'. But I'm cool with just about anything, I'm easy to entertain lol

Agreeing with everyone else, definitely would like a light-based villain.

I would like a Light based villian as well.

The Masters of Masters could also potentially be the new villian, although we will have to wait what going to happen with x.

But in reality, the new main antagonist will be........Winnie the Pooh.
