- Soren Monroe, Former Sentinel of Isopolis - Accompanying others in a Tour of Raiden's Villa -

Silence had befallen the sentinel as he was hoisted along with The Infiltrator and the visitors to the Overworld, his figure dominating the background but not much else as a result. The arrival of those from the world below along with his encounter with The Infiltrator had presented him with quite the opportunity, especially as he saw Lord Raiden in his villa.

There were some powerful people here, both Overworld Native and World Below Visitors, Alastor and Draksis came to mind as he continued to silently accompany his companions on their tour around the Lord's Villa. I wonder if this...Lord, is all I believe him to be. Soren thought to himself, his long-running internal debate since the Depths of Isopolis coming to a close as they ended their tour with Lord Raiden wondering if they had further questions. Finally, Soren unfolded his arms from his back and stepped forward, offering a upper-torso bow of respect before speaking.

"Lord Raiden, I must apologise for my quietness for the majority of my time here. I suppose I've not felt the need to speak. I must ask you...what are your ambitions, sire? I'm curious for reasons potentially beneficial to yourself." He spoke, his voice still deep and authoritative as ever, having not gone hoarse from lack of usage.

Jynn Venas-Mystras, now on his way to Raiden's Villa

Immediately after closing the doors behind him, a random soldier a approached him and welcomed him to the city and warned him how dangerous Mystras is, as there are those who are more than willing to do harm to a royal such as himself. Upon the soldier's request to act as an escort, Alicia approaches behind Jynn. He then thinks to himself. "So the others decided not to come huh? Figures. Yevgeni still believes everything is about him and only him." Jynn then hears Alicia state that she is with him, therefore acting as his escort. He then faces back to the soldier. "I appreciate the gesture, but I think I should be fine for now. You keep doing what you're doing, alright? Good day." As he walks forward, he quietly speaks to Alicia so nobody could hear him. "Now, when we reach Raiden's Villa, do not show any hostility. If trouble arises, we need to flee. But do defend yourself if you have to."

Bherna Lao-Mountains near Mystras

Bherna watches as Elia chases after Rufus to some kind of fight scene. She then looks towards Aqua to see if she too would take off, but she doesn't. Instead, she asks Bherna if the two of them should follow Elia, to which Bherna agrees. "I think we should all stick together." She then chases after Elia, while at the same time, she pulls off her father's iconic move, she forges a small rapier out of her powers. Her wings then open up and she takes off, catching up to Elia.

--Everyth Castanova -- Sondon Castle Under Siege--

"Why hello, you wonderful ladies!" chimed a cheerful voice.  Turning the corner came no one's favorite mage, dressed in naught but a bathing suit with a towel over her arm.  A bag of supplies was on the other.  Her eyes were closed as a huge smile was planted on her face, which would be necessary; had they been open, chances are she would not be smiling at all.  Two dead soldiers littered the hall, while Effie and Visco were planning to make their getaway.  "I caught wind that the two of you were making an escapade to the hot springs.  Do you have room for one more tagalong?"

The moment Everyth's eyes snapped open the woman gasped and drew a step back, noting the man with the broken neck first before observing the frantic visage of her dear princess.  "Oh dear, what has happened?"

Before either Effie or Visco could respond three more soldiers began to infiltrate from the main hall, men with swords raised and shields nearly as large as themselves.  Everyth tsked as she waved a hand, violet vibes coursing through the air and freezing upon the three men.  Their bodies remained frozen stiff; they could neither speak nor move.  The raven-haired woman's eyes narrowed.  "Come, we don't have much time.  They won't be stopped for long.  How many are in the castle?  I didn't even hear a breath about intruders."

---------

The Mystran knight bowed to the prince as both Alicia and Jynn claimed they would be fine.  "Of course, your Majesty.  Please enjoy what Mystras has to offer, as well as your stay."

Clanging massively, the knight turned to leave and waddle down the cobblestone street.  While manners were something he used well, he was not meek and naive.  He clambered through the town for a short distance and stopped upon a water fountain.  Many coins of numerous shapes and colors could be visible at the bottom; apparently even the Fey had traditions of making wishes and wasting their riches to the fountain.  He braced his hands on his knees and panted alongside an interesting-looking Fey.  Most appeared human, but this one was . . . curious.  She had a flat reptilian nose, webs for hands and feet, and very violet skin, accompanied by wings.  Not wings that you would typically see on a fairy or butterfly, no, they were not elegant in the least.  While they were petite, they were scaly, and appeared like those you would find on a dragon or wyvern than anything else.  She glanced upon him casually.  "You're so lazy.  Seriously, how far did you honestly walk before you became so breathless?  Don't tell me you had taken a fitness test before you were hired on by His Grace."

"Spare me the lecture, you fiend," the soldier growled, taking a seat alongside the fountain beside her.  "I need you to deliver a message to Lord Raiden.  It involves the royal family that he's ever so leery of.  Prince Jynn is here."

--Alderon Niles and Curvis Sourati--the feast in Raiden's villa--

It wasn't until that evening that Curvis realized that he'd made a horrible mistake; he did not pack any spare clothes!  Nope, just the tunic on his back and the steel armor that he wore.  This was quite shameful in the long and short of it.  When everyone went to prepare for dinner Curvis looked at his small pack of belongings dismally.  How was he to dress up when all he brought was a small purse of Sondonian money, an all-purpose knife, a tooth brushing device, and ink, quill, and parchment?  Granted there was a lot of parchment, but still.  That would make some interesting apparel!

This was when he was graced with the kindness of an elf, who brought him fey clothing to adorn himself in.  And my, were these clothes more splendid than his own!  Or any that he had ever worn, for that matter.  Finally Curvis descended the stairs and into the dining hall, wearing a vivid blue tunic seemingly made of silk and a silver velvet vest.  A royal-blue cape of a similar material trailed behind him.  A huge smile was plastered on his face as he approached the table of his companions, greeting each in turn.  With the exception of King Alderon; he managed to be seated alongside Raiden's right hand, near the head of the table.  Yes, this feast was going to be splendid!  He just knew it.

They were served by a variety of different fey, and Curvis--as well as Alderon--enjoyed seeing the various races come and go.  There were men and women of all sorts, but what caught Alderon's eye most as a woman in particular.  Not for her beauty, no; that would definitely not qualify.  It was particularly for her oddity that he couldn't help but stare, though thankfully she did not pay him any heed.  Her sights were set on Soren himself.

Not far into dinner, a rather large woman with blue-ish skin approached the table.  Her black hair was braided in a fishtail, her pupils narrow like a cat's.  Her face was quite ugly, plastered into a huge grin and only accenting the hairy mole on her chin.  She continued to eye Soren and smiled at him several times, now finally approaching him and offering him a delectable treat she had made personally.  It was apparent that she fancied him, though whether Soren fancied her, well, that remained to be seen.

--Elia Cabret -- Mystras Mountain Range--

This really wasn't their fight.  They didn't even know who their enemy was.  These were the things that Elia continued to repeat to herself as they approached the combatants in the clearing.  True, Jynn had told them to patrol, but she wasn't so sure that picking up on random fights was anything that the prince had in mind.  The others seemed truly ready, however.  Even little Bherna withdrew her sword and was ready to take them down.  A part of the fairy wondered if Bherna even knew how to use a sword, but decided to shove that question out of her mind for now.

"Okay, but we need a plan," Elia murmured, glancing out to the two fighters.  "Charging in would be a mistake.  We don't even know why they are fighting or who is at fault."

As she said this, however, she saw Jimba's huge attack come trailing toward the interesting bug-like creature.  She didn't like his attitude and, without thinking, extended her palms and shot forth an amber-colored jet toward the fight.  Suddenly the attack trailing toward Mikhail and Typhon had slowed to a crawling pace, allowing the two the ability to avoid it before it came crashing at them quickly once more.  In quick succession Elia notched a bow into her quiver, pointing it at Jimba's arm and letting it fly.  Apparently she was allowing herself to get involved, but there was something seemingly innocent about Typhon.  She couldn't put her finger on what or why she was possessed to help him; she just felt bad not to.

--Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres--

The armor's words meant more to her than she would've wished to admit.  She accepted Maxis' embrace, holding him tightly in response as tears froze into place upon his freshly polished suit of armor.  Hopefully the salty tears wouldn't cause any harm, or, worse, cause rust spots.  "Thank you, Maxis, truly," she muttered thickly through a tightened throat.  "I am very grateful that you are here.  But, you see . . . to follow my heart would mean to betray my father's ideals and centuries of his hard work.  He sacrificed so much to construct the barrier, and signed so many treaties with the other nations.  I would be throwing it all away.  And who knows? perhaps in following my heart I would only brew more war.  The old system didn't work, apparently, which is why my father has done what he has.  Never mind that he's created a group of elitists, or that he's killing off an entire world and race.  He's stopped wars, and I suppose that speaks volumes of his accomplishments."

The ice queen shook her head.  She was rambling; her thoughts spinning endlessly and nearly causing her to feel dizzy.  She sat on Ivany's bed, gripping the sides firmly.  "It would be selfish of me to change our stance.  It wouldn't be right.  I have to think about my people before I think about the lives of the others down below, or even that of my family."

And yet, she didn't want to.  She did indeed wish to follow her heart, make so many changes that she always dreamed of doing once she became queen, but what had she done instead?  Followed the path that Alexander ordained, killing her own dreams and beliefs in honor of her father's vision, and his people.  His people, however, were limited.  Shouldn't a good ruler consider everyone, and not just a limited number of individuals who have proven their worth?  It was difficult for her to say.  Though she had been queen for nearly two-thousand years, she felt like a novice when it came to thinking for herself.  She bit her lip until she could taste something metallic.

"I'm going to end this peacefully," said Shiva at last.  "And only I can do it.  Thank you, Maxis, for everything.  And"--the ice queen hesitated, her pale-blue locks shifting over her shoulder and veiling her face from view--"please promise me that, no matter what happens, you will protect Jynn.  He is so brave and strong, and he has the true heart of a warrior, and even king.  However, he is not ready to assume the throne, especially with the challenges and dilemmas he would face.  If anything were to happen to me, please be there to guide him and protect him.  Okay?"

She shook her head before bowing it lowly, her voice so soft that it was barely more than a whisper.  "Be the father that I deprived him of."

- Arthur - At Raiden's Feast -

Arthur took the chance he was given while the feast was prepared to polish up his armor. He didn't want to look bad in the feast, after all. A knight should not just be ready to pounce into action whenever needed, but also look presentable, as it represented the kingdom of which they came. He fixed the blue cloth on his shoulder, flattening out any wrinkles. He rested his sword in its sheath and his shield against his back. Once he saw that he was presentable enough, he gleefully hurried down to the feast, to join with the others. On his way he gently felt Visco's letter, safely guarded inside his chest pocket. He wondered if she was doing alright. She most likely was. She was strong, and with Effie by her side, she would be safe enough. He still had to get her a present before returning, however. He found himself a seat, and just as quickly the fey servants began to serve around. Arthur had to remind himself to not stare for too long, as the different types of fey caught his eye and made him make up more questions than answers. "Thank you." Arthur said as he was served a drink in a goblet. He didn't hesitate to eat up when offered up the food, either. The stranger it looked, the better it seemed to taste. If only Visco was here to enjoy it! Soren specifically was being targeted by a rather curious fey, which only made Arthur smile wider. Everything was just...too good.

Eclaire - Kilkis Seres

Eclaire was leaning against the door, listening. She couldn't really make out what they were saying, but...well, when one has no idea what she's doing in heels...causes problems. Her heel rolls a bit, and she tried to brace against the door...and then she fell through. She yelped and hit the ground, rolling about two feet into the room, grimacing. She sat up, rubbing her ankle.

"How do people wear these..." She muttered...then grew quiet. She slowly looked up to find she most likely interrupted something. She gulped and then yanked off the heels. She looked up to apologize...and found this was definitely the wrong time to lose her balance to these deathtraps. She slowly began to stand, already tensing to get the firetruck out of there before she ended up being flattened by Maxis.

 - Henry - The Only Sane Man - Fighting off Vark in the outskirts of Daenonia -

Henry analysed Vark's blades, his stance and mannerism as well as his movements, a sorta samurai bounty hunter hybrid if he ever saw one, swift movements like a samurai's, but the surefoot of a hunter. He was disappointed that this would have to end in a fight, he had shit to do and time was running short. He had to get to Avarice, but he figured he had no choice.

"Pride and Honor drive men to do insane things, i've seen it happen, so manage'em". Henry commented on Vark's statement, it was partially true, many rulers only fell because of their pride, and many knights died in pursuit of honor and glory, a bloody cycle only encouraged by humanity's history.

Henry knew exactly what to expect from Vark's attack, the man called it out for goodness sake. Thankfully Henry's longsword was big enough to cover most of his left side, as well as having his enhanced strenght and his skill with the blade also allowing him to parry and deflect almost all of Vark's slashes, the last one he he intercepted with his gauntled and its plate armor doing its job at deflecting it, possibly knocking Vark off balance, as Henry spun around, swinging his longsword at Vark in a horizontal motion, momentum and speed enhanced by the spin.

However this attack was easy enough to dodge, but that was just the thing. He wanted Vark to dodge, since blocking it was pretty much impossible, katanas weren't good at blocking heavy blades, much less deflecting them without damaging the blade, the moment he finished his swing, Henry would spin around the opposite way, lunging forward with another slash, this one much quicker than the last, and harder to dodge should Vark have had dodged the previous one.

"Don't name your attacks, it just makes the enemy know what to expect from you." Henry added a dry comment.

- Mikhail and Typhon - Fighting Jimba now alongside Elia and others -

Mikhail and Typhon had braced for the worst, the attack was much too fast and powerful to dodge in time, however. Not all was lost, for an interference saved them in the nick of time, by Elia herself, Typhon and Mikhail quickly ran out of the way of the now slowed down spell. as Both exchanged glances at Elia for a moment. Before Typhon feeling something weird...it was...the blood he drew from Jimba after he had slashed him, it was combining with his own. With a grunt, Typhon's physique grew, his arms increased in muscle as his torso did as well.

Feeling a huge surge of strenght, ah yes, the Cyph's adaptation capabilties, taking other species's DNA would enhance them in battle, jimba's looked like a huge strenght increase, Without much speed loss, albeit he did feel slower than before.

Mikhail looked dumbfounded at Typhon for a second, who could only reply with a glance and a nod. As he stared at Jimba again, before dashing off into a sprint, quickly motioning into a shoulder charge at Jimba, using his newly acquired strenght to attempt to throw the hulk of a man back, should he hit or not, Mikhail followed up on the attack with a explosive bomb, thrown directly at Jimba, giving Typhon ample time to jump backwards and avoid it.

"You're outnumbered. Cease your attack" Typhon spoke to Jimba. Hoping he could somehow defuse the situation at hand.

- Maxis - The Living armor - Comforting Shiva -

Maxis stood silent, albeit saddened by Shiva's decision, Maxis would support and remain loyal to her no matter what happened, such was his duty, he was the only one that Shiva could trust, more than anything else, after all. He did not argue with her, as he saw it would be useless, Shiva's resolve was decided, and there was nothing he could do to change that. Only comfort her in this time of weakness.

THen came the last statement, the statement shook Maxi's very foundation, albeit it didn't show, Maxis's non existant heart stopped for a second, as well as his imaginary spine shivered up. He dreaded to even imagine something happening to Shiva, he did not know what would happen to him if she were to pass on. Maybe his seal would break, or not. It does not matter.

"I see..." Maxis spoke softly, "I shall, I will be at his side until the day he is crowned, you can be sure of that..." Maxis spoke, albeit rather seriously. Before sighing. And Grabbing Shiva's shoulders with his hands, gently. "But my duty is to protect you first, such is my duty, I will not let you go alone, I am he-" Maxis's dramatic statement was cut short as Eclaire fell into the room, courtesy of her high heels.

Maxis simply stood there...quiet, looking at Eclaire in pure confusion and surprise...a small...bloodthirsty and sadistic aura could be felt rising for a moment, as Maxis chuckled. "Oh hi there Eclaire...I don't...suppose you were peeping on us were you?" Maxis spoke in a tone of pure apathy, the bloodthirsty aura could now be felt by Eclaire, and only Eclaire, for it was an illusion cast on the former. With no effect on Shiva. Eclaire would feel her entire body shiver up at the sight of Maxis, clearly unhinged at the intrusion. For a few seconds anyway, as Maxis soon dispelled the illusion as he waited for Shiva's response in the matter.

'Ya know, I haven't felt that bloodthirst...in...well...I actualy never felt that feeling before...but its not unfamiliar...this is weird.' Maxis thought to himself.

Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Villa - The Feast

Heavy servant's garb and pulling her hair back was a simple enough disguise. Only two of the people here had seen her before, and not for long. If she kept on her toes, and ensured she remained inconspicuous, remaining undiscovered would be a simple enough trick. The long robes and gloves covered her clothing, and she'd pulled her hair back into a ponytail opposed to it hanging loose. Her sword was strapped to her back invisible below the robes, and her bow and quiver were up in the rafters. Finally, she'd painted her face with black ink, hoping it would be the final straw to hide her as a different race entirely. They were a present but not prevalent people, Neena knew of this tribal based society that had face marks from birth. Combine that with simple doings of ones job, Neena felt she could get away with this. Especially since Alastor and Raiden should be far more concerned with their guests than their servants. Neena poured some wine into Arthur's goblet, then moved away, maintaining consistent awareness of her surroundings.

Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; The Flowering Hyssop

Swanson turned and grinned vividly towards Viridem and Ryonne, who had stood from their seats some paces away, watching cautiously. Viridem watched Ryonne's face, but it remained constant and neutral. This could go famously badly if Swanson screwed up. And Ryonne did not feel that Swanson was very good at not screwing up. They had far too little information about this place to try and fake it. But, it was going. And so the dice would roll. Swanson looked back towards Rabiyu and Yevgeni, and with a continued grin, answered their accusations. "My lord, you have me wrong. I'd not identify as Mystrian. The crabby green-haired one in the back would, she's not very happy. But all of us are travelers from all over. And all of us value coin more than prejudices." Swanson answered, rather competent. Except for the whole part where Yevgeni was very much not the prince. That was extremely incompetent. Viridem huffed and turned back to the bar to drain the rest of her drink. She couldn't watch this train wreck anymore. "And I, a spy? Look at me, far too burly, and far too loud. I'd not make a very good spy. And it would take a dimwitted spy to just kind of go up to you like this yes? Please, work has been slow for a bit. And its so terribly boring. We'd love to help, for a price." Swanson finished his pitch, hoping he was selling it.

Gel ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; The Market

"Oh I hadn't any business really." Gelabrous answered Helios' query with a shrug. "I was just running from Sondon. You know, like you guys. Of course, you all were going much faster than I was, being in the sky and all, but we were doing the same thing." Gel said to them. Running from Sondon was now something he was doing with them, and they had like, an actual destination, opposed to his ambiguous journey towards "Away." Gel looked about the town, enjoying the new sights and sounds. Though, honestly they were not much different from Sondon's town's sights and sounds. "We could check things out around here if you like."

-Arthur - Taking a tour around Raiden's villa-
Arthur followed close behind the King and Draksis, but far away enough to not interrupt their personal space. He couldn't help it. They looked so cool! Such magnificence, even in the face of a new world, they kept their composure and grace. Draksis and Alastor looked to be the perfect example of knights, each standing next to their respective King...Arthur could only aspire to one day become like them. He heard Curvis' question about the food, which only made Arthur curious too. He turned back to look at him and the rest of the companions, smiling. "Do you think they have the same fruits and vegetables as us, or wholly different?" Arthur asked with a smile. He paused, humming as he looked up at Curvis. "Do you think we will see native creatures soon?! Like Griffins from the Fairy Tale books?!" Arthur asked, taking opportunity to glance around and enjoy the tour as he could. As scary as it was...he really wanted to see the creatures too! Did they kept similar creatures like dogs and cats as pets, or maybe something much more exotic and strange than the ones they were used to? They seemed so similar to humans...yet they were equally full of mystery. And darn it, he absorbed every piece of information that his majesty spoke. He had to keep himself from just reaching out with grasping hands, much like a child in a museum. When his majesty asked if they had questions, Arthur couldn't help himself. "I-!" Arthur then quickly stopped, quickly bowing his head. "If I may ask, my lord." Arthur corrected himself, his eyes glistening with curiosity and awe. "Is it true that the creatures of this world are as marvelous as our fairy tales suggests?...and are they a common sight?"

- Soren Monroe, Former Sentinel of Isopolis - Accompanying others in a Tour of Raiden's Villa -

I'm curious for reasons potentially beneficial to yourself." He spoke, his voice still deep and authoritative as ever, having not gone hoarse from lack of usage.

- Lord Raiden, within Raiden's villa after the tour -

Raiden crooked a smile, pleased that there were a few questions after everything and that some of those that lived below were enamoured by the beauty of his fair city and house.  This was not because he considered himself not a prideful man; instead, it felt phenomenal to him to show and to tell people of sights beyond their imaginings.  Arthur was first, asking a simple yet understandable question, but answering was no easy matter.

"Everything is a common sight here in the Overworld, excepting a myriad of rarities.  There are endangered species, as well as several races of Fey that are close or were brought into extinction by some travesty, but for the most part you can find anyone if you deign to look for them.  Perhaps they will be as marvelous as you hope them to be, but tales dull or exaggerate reality, so please keep that in mind.  It might save your life or make you enjoy your experience even more."

Raiden looked at Arthur kindly.  His curiosity was singular and refreshing, and reminded Raiden of a childhood he had long forgotten.  There was an image he had to draw somewhere, or perhaps write down before he forgot.

Soran was next with an especially daunting question, one which he did not expect so readily.  The Infiltrator's information given to him prior did not inform him that the mute could speak, much less challenge him with his inquiry.  After a moment of thought, Raiden put his heart on his sleeve, as per usual.

"I do not regard myself as ambitious, but rather as a steward or someone who preserves.  I desire what benefits all rather than what benefits the few, which is why I intend to drop the barrier.  This is not a secret for some of you, especially to those that lived on it, but the world below is a dying one.  Restoring it to its true beauty with the reintegration of magic will not be without sacrifice or difficulty, and I intend to lead the way where others failed or were too docile."

Raiden grew somber near the end, perhaps letting his honest emotions get the better of him, but soon brought back his chipper and welcoming self.

"That is enough questions for now, I think, and if you have any more feel free to ask me at the feast.  I look forward to them with perked ears," he commented, making a generous bow in finality.  "The remainder of my servants who are not in the kitchen have been instructed to aid you in manners great and small.

"I have three statutes for all of you to follow, including yourself, King Alderon.  One:  that you will not pick any fights or make me regret welcoming you here.  Two:  that you do not make mention of your being human or otherworldly of any means outside of this house and its limits unless asked directly by the queen or her affiliates.  Three:  that you do not spread the hidden knowledge of Isopolis, the forbidden shrine in which you entered the Overworld, or anything regarding the status of the world below.  All are grave matters, at least for now, and secrecy is paramount, elsewise you may not only jeopardise your own lives but those below as well.  There are those in the Overworld who are stonehearted enough to massacre a race because of a lesser anger.  The tale of the Cyph is an apropos reminder of that."

He looked about towards everyone in the group and made a second, stiffer bow.

"I again look forward to seeing you all during the feast, or even before if fate ordains it.  In the meantime, enjoy yourselves and make yourselves comfortable."

With that, he entered his study once again.  Perhaps Midnea would still be in there, and if she were then she had better not be touching his book.  It was his favourite volume, and it disgusted him to even think that she would grime it with her greasy fingerprints.

((I will post more later for the feast and regarding Rufus later.  For now, IT'S MORPHING TIME!))

- Lord Raiden and Raleigh Marin, currently within the banquet hall of Raiden's villa -

Raleigh was beside herself, finding that she also had not packed much of a selection of clothes, and certainly not anything of great beauty to match the opulence of a banquet.  She had the red garb she wore during the first feast, but that was dirty, unpressed, and worst of all laden with sweat.  She did not dare take a bath or a shower until she knew that she would have had the time to wash it properly -- who likes going into dirty clothes after being clean? -- but her prayers were answered when one of the servant ladies catered to her, measured her, and after some time provided her clothing.  Raleigh took the garb carefully, inspecting it over for a few seconds before nodding her thanks to the Fey.  The other beamed a modest smile, bowed, and took her leave after directing Raleigh to the nearest washroom, a monkey's tail swinging behind her.

The tales really weren't a joke, it seems, she thought to herself, eyeing the maid's prehensile appendage.  So many oddities lay around her, filled with wonder and drawing her into a sensation of accomplishment.  She was actually amongst the legends about and of which she had read and dreamed!  She could sense the magic, feel the warmth and comfort of a beautiful world, and communicate with people that were not of her land or any land of familiarity!  All of this trip had been amazing, and she had to draw herself away from her reveries to ensure that she was ready for the banquet.

After a wonderful bath, she partially dismantled her paper armour which previously lay hidden beneath her robe, folded it away in her pack, and snugged into the beautiful knee-length dress that were provided her.  She did not much care for the colour, a dazzling grey with sparkling silver flecks on it.  It was too much for her, and she preferred the flat red hue of her old garb.  What was she supposed to be, eye candy?  Then again, she thought with Curvis on mind, maybe something good will come of it in the end.  Strapping on a concealed holster for a dagger -- she did not fully trust these new individuals at the time -- she headed to the life of the party with her pack in tow.  She had nowhere else to put it at the time after all, and better safe with it than sorry without it.

"Affluence" was the best word she could think up for a description of the banquet.  Abundant food littered the main table, and some of the people she knew already were at the table, including some of the crew members of the Phoenix, taking first dibs of the appetizers and some sort of creamy soup.  She was directed to her seat, and there she waited patiently.  Well, she would have waited patiently if there weren't three bowls of soup nearby, which she laid claim to and hastily devoured with a provided soup spoon.  She was a sucker for soup.

Raiden entered in a timely manner as soon as most or everyone was seated at the table.  The main course was laid out, including some exotic dishes humanity would not have seen before, and the silver covers gleamed and revealed their prizes on silver platters.  Moreover, a spiced drink of cashew milk and an array of breadsticks lay at every place at the table except where Raleigh was.  Servants took note of this and promptly replaced the delectable foods.

"My friends," the lord of the villa spoke succinctly, raising a glass in salutation, "I am pleased to have you all here today in my court.  This marks a new day and a new era where two peoples can live harmoniously together, where greatness and the harvests of nature can be shared between two worlds, and where our peoples shared a meal together for the first time in a few millennia.  This is history in the making, and it is my honour to witness it.  Now, fill your stomachs and enjoy yourselves, for tomorrow shall be a day of preparation, not celebration."

Raiden lowered his glass, smiling at his company, especially his fellow important figure Alderon, and seated himself.  The Infiltrator stood close watch overhead, sentinelling as a chameleon would, hidden on a hidden buttress built into the upper wall.  Raiden felt that he was the best candidate for picking out oddities at the feast, as Alastor would have a number of eyes on him already and The Infiltrator had a nice vantage point.

Raleigh dug into the meal like a number of people, unhampered by the half gallon of soup she drank and blissfully happy with the complementary flavours.  There was meat, there were vegetable dishes, there were dairy desserts, there was apple-blueberry pie -- all-in-all, it was heaven to her, and she loaded her plate between glances up toward Curvis.

- Rufus Contralto, currently in the heated battle with his companions against Jimba -

Rufus nodded in agreement with the fairy's thoughts, but shortly thereafter Elia broke her own attempted neutrality and delayed the shockwave of destruction energy enough so that the others could avoid it.  What a strange one she is, he thought to himself, shrugging his shoulders and flying out of the tree to get a better view of what was going on.  And what better view would there be but over Jimba's head?  Rufus hovered about ten feet overhead, witnessing all of the events that went on with a lovely bird's-eye view.

"Excuse me, but for what reason dost thou fight in such barbaric manners?" he piped down towards Jimba and Typhon, the two probably locked in physical combat or separated.  He was very confused as to what was going on and what side to take.  Who was at fault?  Two versus one was unfair, and now that it was five versus one, excluding himself, he did not know what to do.  "I know nary any of you, but cease your dispute at once.  Peace saves far more than lives, you know, but broken bones aplenty too!"

-Arthur - Raiden's Villa - The Feast-
Arthur hummed a thank you as the servant poured wine into his drink. He drank a big gulp, looking up at the servant's face markings with curiosity. He knew that they had to keep themselves from looking suspicious, to keep themselves from looking and acting anything but human, but he could not help but to stare. The details, the thought that someone would be born with such beautiful, elegant markings compared to smaller and more common birthmarks. He wished Visco could be here, that at the very least she could see what he saw with his own eyes. He could only imagine her being equally as wondered at everything around this place. "(I still need to bring her something from this place before we leave.)" Arthur thought, taking a bite out of a cooked leg from...something. He had forgotten the name of it, but it was huge, and tasted a lot like chicken, and the sauce a lot like BBQ. He tried his best to mind his table matters, chew with his mouth closed, use the silverware and not his hands, back straightened and elbows off the table. His eyes glanced at his friends around him, eyeing at their reactions, actions, interactions, before glancing back at his highness, Raiden, and his own king Alastor. The feeling was almost unreal, or overwhelming, to see these two rulers from two different worlds interact, eating in a feast of a world that they never thought possible. History was being made, and he was a witness, a partaker, a member. The moment after the feast he was determined to write everything that had happened that day into his journal, hopeful that if his mind, as time passed, would by chance forget these experiences, then his own words would bring him back. But for now, back to the food! As servants walked past, replacing empty plates with filled ones, he made short conversations, his charming smile always inviting for a pleasant talk whenever.

-Helios - Avarice - With Gel and the siblings-

Helios smiled softly. How kind. He was till wary of it, yet he was more than happy to welcome it. "We have to wait until Henry comes by. Let's see what this city has to offer." Helios hummed. In his head, he began to plan things out. He had to warn the Queen about the threat that Alderon posed. Part of him found it to be silly for him to warn her. She was a Queen, and Alderon was a human in a whole other world where his rule was nothing but a title. He wouldn't be able to do much, if anything at all. But after what happened to him, to his friends, he refused to allow that to happen to anyone else, even if there was the smallest of chance. It was his fault it happened in the first place, after all. His parents might think of him dead. Oh he would get a scolding if he returned. Helios paused as he heard the softest of purrs. He looked down, to see a stray cat gently rubbing against his feet. Helios smiled, picking the cat up into his arms. "Hello little guy." Helios hummed. He listened to the cat attentively as it spoke. "Well, I'm new to this city, actually. I'm visiting." The conversation went on. "Yes I can understand. Ah...but keep that a secret between us, yes?" Helios asked with a smile, poking the cat's nose as the cat meowed contently. He turned to Gel and the siblings, waving the cat's paw at them. "He says he knows of some awesome places we can visit in the city."

-Morana - Home in the ruins - Timeline: ???-

"You have a son?" Morana asked. "It doesn't show. I apologize." "No worries. Yes. Around 300 years old by now. He's always been an adventurous little boy since he first learned to walk. After a certain age onward he began to stay out more and more, exploring. Before we knew it he had become independent, befriending creatures of all kind and living among them with his abilities. I always told him that he should come home once in a while, just to make sure that he is alright." Uriel said as she finished her tea. "He managed to travel all over this world more than I could have imagined." She sighed. "Has he come by, recently?" Morana asked, curiosity peaking at the mention of this boy. Uriel frowned. "No. He has not." She said. "He has not come to see me for an entire year now. Maybe more. I've lost count. He..." She paused, not knowing if she could speak up of this, but the sorrow in her eyes, the strain in her voice spoke volumes. It had been long, apparently, since she had allowed herself to vent out her sorrows. Morana began to connect points together. "He was, one of the traitors, wasn't he?" Morana asked, catching Uriel off guard at the question. "Those who have crossed the forbidden border, and been banished from this world from doing so." Uriel looked down. "I wish I could know, at the very least, what happened to him down there. Only one of them returned...then what happened to the other two? What happened to my little Helios?" Morana pursed her lips. "I apologize for having surfaced such feelings...and for asking such questions, actually. I was out of hand." Morana recognized. "It is fine. In all honesty, I wish for the whole world to know of him." Uriel insisted, a small gleam of defiance in her eyes. "For them all to ignore the existence because of a simple mistake...I refuse to allow his name to die out." Silence. After about five minutes of it, it became awkward. "I'm sorry...to have bothered you with such heavy and sad and uninteresting subjects." Uriel said, quickly changing the subject. "Where do you and your clan plan to move next?" Uriel asked curiously. "We are taking a path following the edge of the Nymphadora Sea. Maybe Illonia, or Mystras. We cannot stay in one place for too long without our scent becoming a problem." Morana said, receiving a chuckle from Uriel. "I feel sorry that your scent is so strong. Allow me to give you some rose water before you leave." "That would be wonderful."

- Henry - The Dreadnaught - Fighting Vark -

"Prideful one huh?" Henry commented with a small chuckle and a smirk "I understand it well. Trust me" Henry added as he took a step back as he ended his attack on Vark, who managed to block the attacks without much trouble, granted Henry was not using almost none of his power in that swing. It was still impressive Vark managed to block it.

Henry sighed and shook his head as Vark began commenting about his swords, especially annoyied about the 'you don't stand a chance' part. But he didn't show it, he was used to being underestimated anyway. Henry dug his longsword's tip onto the ground as he held it. "Says the man who didn't manage to land any of the seven hits, on a man in a full suit of armor, with a longsword for a weapon." Henry taunted Vark a bit before commenting about the Ryo sword.

"Oh yeah, i've heard of these swords, strong, light, sharp. Definitely the market special or some such nonsense." Henry commented, as he awaited Vark's next strike. "Really hope you know how to do more than just a fancy set of slashes." he commented.

Jynn Venas-With Alicia heading to Raiden's Villa in Mystras

As Jynn proceeds to walk to Raiden's abode, he takes in the aura of Mystras. "You know, Mystras reminds me of the good ol' days before the war, when I was hunting monsters for a living." He turns to Alicia. "I was considered to be one of the best hunters out there. But my mother got too worried about my safety, so she had me retire." He then continues forward. "It'd be nice if I could do it again."

As the two approach the abode, Jynn then reminds Alicia about their actions. "Now remember, we cannot stir up a fight, but if trouble does arise, do defend yourself. And do not mention my mother's concerns. Do you understand?"

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - City of Avarice
While Helios had a conversation with a stray cat Aura took the chance to wander for a moment, her sibling taking notice but not saying anything. The city of Avarice was big and very different from the smaller towns, lots of people, lots of stalls and shops, and while looking around, a certain conversation between two men caught her attention.
"Did you heard?" the bulkier one asked in a whisper, "Apparently the attack against the castle in Sondon Castle was a success."
"With the King gone it was to be expected," the small one commented, "that means the Beast Princess would be in change of defending the castle AND the country. Something not possible for creatures such as her."
Having listened enough from the conversation Aura turned around and walked back to were the group was. Aurion noticed the look on his sister's eyes, one of worry, and with some reluctance he made the question.
"Did something happened?" Aurion asked, "Did you heard something?
The younger sibling remained quiet for a few seconds, trying to think of what to tell her brother and friends. They were right in thinking about the man from before was planning something, and that something was an attack to Sonson.
"It appears that we were right," she said, her brother tilting his head, "There has been an attack in Sonson made by Helvadoria."
Aurion sighed and ribber his temple, he could feel a headache coming.
"Great, just great," he said quietly, "The last thing we needed was a battle between Sonson and Helvadoria. This could be bad for Henry if he is caught in the crossfire, perhaps even to slow him down on his way to Avarice."
It was a worrisome thought, but Aura was the one to voice it.
"There is a high chance that this will be the fall of Sondon," Aura said flatly, "with the complete control in the hands of the Princess I am sure she doesn't have what it takes to protect the kingdom. And if what you said is true, then we should go back and search for Henry. I know he is quite capable of fighting his way out, but if word reached him about the Kingdom being attacked then perhaps he would return to help the people. The question is...should we keep waiting for him here? or we make our way back to search for him?"

-- Queen Shiva -- Kilkis Seres--

The kindness which Maxis extended upon her was welcomed, though not deserved in Shiva's eyes.  A weak smile stretched the queen's pallid lips upon his words, placing an icy hand upon his shoulder as he gripped hers.  "Thank you, Maxis.  I am so grateful that I've gotten to meet you . . . and bring you back to us."  She hesitated, guilt seizing her.  When this was all said and done, regardless of the outcome, it would mean putting Maxis back to rest, but could she do this?  Not only for her own self, for that would be selfish, but Maxis' sake.  What a dull existence, being put to rest for two-thousand years before reemerging into the world again for the sake of being a confidant and champion on the battlefield.  She felt terrible to do this to him again.  Was there another way?

Shiva did not have long to think about this, when the oaken door slid further open and poured forth the familiar rose-haired woman clad in a white dress.  The ice queen raised a brow, both surprised and perplexed.  Was it as Maxis said, and had she been eavesdropping?

Not that it really mattered too heavily.  Eclaire was not the average fey of Kilkis Seres; it was part of her charm.  The queen knelt beside Eclaire and extended her hands to aid her.  "That was quite the fall.  Are you alright?  What brings you all this way?  Are you looking for Fiona?"

Her eyes locked upon Maxis, nodding firmly, relaying a silent message without giving more away than necessary.  They would have to convene at a later time, if that opportunity arose.  Regardless, she was grateful to have such a fine spirit-man at her side, who at least still believed in her when she had already lost belief in herself.

--Everyth Castanova -- Siege upon Sondon--

The dark mage followed Effie, who maneuvered them skillfully around the conflict and toward safety.  Her brow contorted at the sounds of axes, swords, and dying men, most likely their own.  It was not fair; how did they manage to infiltrate so silently, and with such numbers?

Effie admitted that she was glad to have run into her, though Everyth didn't really know how to respond.  "I didn't expect anything like this at all," she said, voice cracking.  "I just thought we'd have a grand time soaking in the hot spring, and then we find this?  This is mass slaughter, Effie.  Our numbers are being crushed.  To think the princess had ventured the halls alone, or set off to retire early."  She shook her head.  There were so many possible scenarios, each worse than the next.  "Thank you for your dedication to our princess, Effie.  Were you two not as close as you are, they may very likely have already taken her life.

"I worry for all of our men fighting, but I am in no position to take them on.  My weapons and armor are stashed away, and even my magic does not have the ability to fend off these kind of numbers.  We should get the princess to safety before trying to help in this conflict"--her violet eyes darted toward Visco, which softened upon the sight of her--"I am so sorry you have had to witness this today, darling.  But worry not; soon this will only be like a bad dream.  At least you can rest knowing your father and dear Arthur are safe."

They came upon the end of the line, and the sight ahead was enough to cause the raven-haired mage to bring a hand to her mouth.  This was far too much, especially for poor Visco to witness.  She nodded in Effie's direction.  "I think I know of another way, but it will be a bit nasty.  If you don't mind stench and poor sanitation we can manage it.  Follow me."

With haste Everyth led them away, back down the hall they came and down a flight of stairs, often stealing a glance behind them to ensure that they were not being followed.  She tried to move swiftly, though did pace herself to ensure that she didn't lose either of the two women.  She led them under a large stone archway, which she paused behind.  Once Effie and Visco had safely made their way through, she extended her palm and muttered an incantation.  A glowing violet glyph formed, initially small but immediately extended, a barrier flashing along the entryway.  "There, it's the only way to get down here and that should hold them out," Everyth explained to the two.  "Unless they are already in the sewers we should have nothing to fear."

Ahead of them was quite the terrible sight indeed.  The stench of waste was atrocious, the water below murky and not something you would ideally wish to traverse.  There were stone columns that emerged from the water and to the stone ceiling, but they were few and far between and too wide to grasp or even place your arms around.  Along the far left side was a narrow extension of concrete that one would potentially be able to use for support, but the ceiling was too low to walk along it.  The mage turned to Visco and knelt into a bow.  "My apologies, Your Highness, but this is the safest way that I know.  This will lead to the outskirts of Sondon, where you should be safe."

-- Yevgeni Malachite -- Flowering Hyssop in Mystras--

A slight chuckle escaped the elf as he glanced over at the green-haired woman that his mercenary friend had pointed out.  "So I see," he said, considering Swanson's words as he tilted his head.  "You have an interest in finances and a relationship with the royal court.  In this day and age it is dangerous to simply take a man at his word, but you are bold and to the point.  I like that."

He glanced over toward his companion, Rabiyu.  There were times that he really wished that he could read her better.  Interestingly she had faith in him and played along, but what prompted her to?  How had he gained her loyalty, when he'd done nothing but be berated and ridiculed Jynn?  It was curious, but she had earned his respect and gratitude.  Few did, so this was a high accomplishment.

Her words, however, indicated that Rabiyu seemed approving of them, which in turn caused Yev to relent.  "Very well.  I shall accept your proposal.  I do not believe that I have received your name.  Hmm . . . no matter."  He fished around in his pocket and held several large gold coins, ones which differed significantly from those which existed in the World Below.  "My first request is not to breathe a word of our meeting outside of your friends' circle," he said simply.  "Second, do not meet with me in public, but rather in private.  Third, do not trust anyone you meet in Mystras, for this land is known for its lies and its deception.  They possess ways to fool the mind in convincing manners, so trust no one apart from me and Lady Rabiyu here.  Lastly"--he withdrew several more coins and placed them in Swanson's hands--"There is a weapon that is of grave importance within Lord Raiden's villa that I require.  It is of little value, but it is crucial that I obtain it.  This particular weapon--a dagger, more specifically--has been enchanted with lightning magic.  It will not be easy to find and will probably be in a treasury under lock and key.  A simple strike from such a dagger can kill within the right hands, and can take down even the most powerful of fey.  These coins are but a fraction of what you and your friends will receive.  If you can bring it to me I will reward you mightily.

"You will find me outside the water fountain at sunrise tomorrow.  I will expect to hear your progress then."

He expected some questions from his accomplice, at least, many of which he was prepared to answer straight.  Of course the elf had a plan.  He'd tried to do things Shiva and Jynn's way for far too long--it was time to resort to his own methods.  He only hoped that he'd have even a single friend left once this was all over.  Hopefully Elliltari, at least, would understand if she were to learn of the bitter truth.

-- King Alderon and Curvis Sourati -- The Feast of Fools Raiden's Villa and dawn of a new era--

"Very well said, my good sir," Alderon commented as Raiden seated himself.  "Truly now, I admire the adoration that your people seem to have for you, though already I can see it is very much warranted.  I suppose you have plenty of time to perfect yourself as a ruler?"  He laughed, as a servant poured him a glass of some kind of wine.  The king drew a sip, perhaps longer than he had anticipated due to its rich and wonderful flavor.  Finally he set it back down and resumed his glance in Raiden's direction.  "I think one issue--out of many--with mortality is the lack of experience that we as humans have.  Your race has mastered so much that humans have barely managed to surface after the duration of eighty years, which is nearly a full life."

Their idle chatter was interrupted when the reptilian woman emerged into the room, standing between Raiden and Alderon.  Her presence greatly surprised the king, as he hadn't even noticed a single door open, nor her approach.  Was he already becoming drunk from a single glass of wine?

"My lord, forgive me for intruding upon this rejoicing ceremony," she spoke, placing a hand on her chest and offering Lord Raiden the slightest of bows, "but I come to deliver important news.  The High Prince of Mystras has been spotted in town and refused the escort of one of our men.  He seems to be acting with a lone bodyguard, but you can never be too certain.  We do not know what his intentions are at this time, but I thought this appearance deserved your attention."

Further down the table Curvis paid them all little attention, very much enjoying the food alongside Arthur.  There was something so exotic about each dish that he just couldn't get enough of.  He particularly loved the chicken-tasting meat, and didn't dare inquire as to what it was lest it spoil his appetite.

What did spoil his appetite, however, was not the discovery of what he was eating, but the appearance of a gorgeous woman whom he could hardly recognize as their Raleigh.  The gown she wore made her look stunning, and Curvis adored the shade of gray she wore.  For a moment he could hardly envision her as the rough mercenary she was, but instead as a gentle and elegant woman with a kindness he never once assumed she had--but with roughly the same appetite that he'd always known.  After a while of watching her he noticed that she was without breadsticks, a situation he'd decided to remedy before a servant could make their rounds.  He snatched up the basket that Arthur and himself were sharing and brought it over to her.  Of course Arthur would probably not appreciate the act, though considering the boy knew what it was like to have a love interest he would possibly understand.

Carefully he approached Raleigh's side and presented the breadsticks to her.  "I just so happened to notice that you were out," he spoke, placing an arm behind his back in a gentlemanly fashion.  "And we happened to have a few spares.  Please, help yourself, if you wish.  There is no telling when we shall dine again with what might be in store for us tomorrow."

He glanced back over in Arthur's direction, realizing that he'd practically swiped his breadsticks all for the sake of the lady.  He hoped that he wasn't shooting daggers at him.

(I still need to post for Elia but I will get to that soon.  My apologies for those who are waiting on her.)

- Lord Raiden, currently within the Feast of Fools Kings at Raiden's Villa -

Raiden smiled widely at the praise and the hidden truth of Fey seniority.  A man can live for a hundred years buttling and not know everything.  Imagine if the man could live for a thousand or more years, all with a constantly keen mind and the same reflexes.  How great he would be at his craft, or any craft.

Before he could reply to his fellow ruler, he caught a glance of the reptilian woman, one of his best and slyest attendants.  He frowned at the news, thinking it far too critical a time for meeting with the brash young prince.  He looked down at his provided meal, an untouched masterpiece prepared by the chef, and drew himself up with a sigh.

"I see.  Thank you for the swift and potent information, Lorleanna.  You have done well, and I would be honoured if you may take my meal in my stead, be it here or elsewhere.  I have snooped it already for poisons, and I would rather have it consumed hot by somebody than do the chef the injustice of leaving it cold and unscathed by silverware.

"My Lord Alderon," he stated afterwards, turning to the king, "I will talk with you later.  The queen's son is approaching, and I wish to take cautionary measures to keep him out of the know by meeting him deftly and swiftly.  Enjoy the feast.  It is unlikely we will celebrate a better moment than this wondrous day where we have first officially met."

With a low bow, he dismissed himself from the table and left the room at a fast pace, his purple robe swishing behind him.  Two informants gave him this information about Prince Jynn, and he suspected it was of great importance that the two meet without hesitancy.  He chuckled halfway to the front entrance.  This would mark the first official meeting with the queen's son, all in the same day that he met a royal of the world below.  How exhilarating it would have been to make Jynn's acquaintance under better circumstances.

- Raleigh Marin, currently within the Feast of Fools Kings at Raiden's Villa -

Raleigh felt a few confused or disgusted glances coming her way and uncomfortably patted her mouth with a linen napkin.  She really had to control herself when in the company of others, elsewise she should find a nice, quiet location to engorge her meal.  She looked about to catch a glimpse of the action, especially what was happening at the head of the table where the rulers were and -- what would come with no surprise at all -- towards Curvis.  The gallant young man offered her a few more luxurious breadsticks she greedily swallowed, and she patted her mouth again with a cloth to withhold any reddening of her cheeks, if she even gave off any.  What a good man he was, giving her food.

"I graciously accept, my kind knight," she responded to him, taking a brace of heaven's leavened fingers with a smile that leaked from her protective napkin.  "Please accept this ruddy lobster in thanks."

With that, she offered him a full and decent-sized lobster in a basket.  Afterwards unsure if he could accept the thing, she pondered for a moment and decided to ask him a question.

"I'm curious:  this is the second time you have offered food to me.  Have you come for more tales or have I just enchanted you with my beauty?"

She said this in jest, smiling up at him in expectation of him laughing.  However, why did it seem to her like it rang of true curiosity?  She internally shook her head.  Perhaps she would never know fully why.

Jimba - Forest - Near Mystras

Jimba noticed that his double destructive wave attack had slowed down & after both Mikhail & Typhon got out of the way of the attack it returned to normal, blasting everything in that direction into dust. Jimba then slightly felt something sting his left arm shortly after "Hm?" spoke Jimba as he looked down towards his left arm to see an arrow sticking out of his left arm. The arrow had only managed to get it's head stuck into his skin but no further, Jimba then snapped the arrow's body off from near it's head using only his right hand's finger & thumb. Jimba then turned to where the arrow might have come from to see Elia & Bherna "STOP INTERFERING! This Cyph has broken many rules placed by the rulers of this world & must be punished for them with his life! INTERFERE AGAIN & I WILL! PUNISH YOU AS WELL!" yells Jimba at Elia & Bherna with Rufus overhead surely able to hear him right before Jimba was suddenly smashed backwards a bit by a changed Typhon. Then right after that an explosive bomb went off right near Jimba's chest area. "SILENCE CYPH! I will not listen to a creature that only breaks the peace of this world." spoke Jimba as the smoke from the explosion faded away revealing Jimba to be hardly damaged by the explosion. "... NOW VANISH CYPH!" yells Jimba as he then holds out his right open palmed hand towards Typhon, but nothing was happening. Soon little sparks of white dotes start appearing all around Typhon soon spreading around Mikhail & a bit more of the area around well, the white sparks quickly start getting brighter & bigger with every second passing. These growing little dotes were all gonna burst together into a one big blast of an explosion.

- Rufus Contralto, in the mountain forest near Mystras -

Rufus looked down at the destructive and tough individual with a frown, not entirely understanding what the reason was for his belligerence.  The man was clearly beyond talking at this moment, or maybe he always is beyond talking, taking matters to a physical and magical dimension.

It was too bad Rufus, the fantastical playwright of multiple worlds, was absolutely useless in this situation.  The best he could do is distract Jimba if the conflict escalated, but it would do very little against the angry individual.  Besides the conflict -- and Typhon's massive appearance -- the Cyph looked rather innocent and full of proper understanding.  What was really going on?

The genie, deciding to take matters into his own hands, swooped down in front of Jimba in the blink of an eye.  His eyes glowed fiercely in a brilliant yellow aura, and the rest of him sank into swirling cloud of darkness.

"By the authority vested in me by the cosmos and beyond," Rufus stated, "you will die unless you cease your hostility.  This is not a request.  This is an opportunity for you to keep your life.  Should you deign to keep fighting, you will assuredly die within ten seconds of your next punch or magic."

This was all a bluff on Rufus' part, but he hoped it would do the trick.  Jimba blatantly refused one command.  If he dared to do it a second time, Rufus would annoy him to no end until Jimba was without question dead.  Well, that, or he was called back to his mistress' side, whichever came first.

-Arthur - Raiden's Villa - The Feast-

Arthur was about to reach for a bread-stick when Curvis took the basket, making his way to offer some to lady Raleigh. Arthur made the most dramatic look of betrayal he could possibly muster once Curvis did look back at him. No, not the bread-stick! They did nothing wrong! Arthur then smirked, and then instead of shooting dagger, he instead gave him a wink once he realized what his aim was with the bread-sticks. Smooth transition, he admitted. Well, there would be more bread-sticks in the future. If these happened to be the very last bread-sticks in the whole Overworld and Earth, well then, he could complain to him about it later. But then again, he would of done the same of her majesty, princess Visco. Heck, if she asked, he would bring her all of the bread-stick baskets of the world. So no scorn for Curvis and his betrayal of the bread-sticks. Those two would make a cute couple, anyways. His attention was brought over to his lordship Raiden excused himself from the feast, the quickening of his pace spelling urgency of something. Speaking of urgency...Arthur quickly waved at one of the many servants that were around serving at the feast. "Excuse me. You wouldn't happen to know where the little knight's room is, would you?" Arthur asked, the innocence in his voice almost to gush for. Thankfully, the servant understood his hint, and Arthur stood up to follow them to the closest available restroom. Once he had relieved himself, he stepped out, about to head back to the feast but...he could possibly, maybe, just for a few minutes or so, explore around just for a little tiny bit? He had of course payed great attention in the tour. But...when you're in a new world, could you blame for such instincts to take over? He thought that a few minutes would not be much. If anything he could say he got lost. He was full now, anyways. With his heart almost pounding out of his chest, he quickly, but silently walked down the hall where he had seen lord Raiden go.

-Morana - In the mountain forests near Mystras-

Where Jimba was causing quite a rowdy display, a new scent was added to that of the charcoal of his explosions, the smell of burning leaves and wood, the scent of the flowers, what remained from the area of the fight. Death. Decay. Repulsive odors that one only smelled in the halls of a plagued hospital or a morgue whose customers were long overdue on their burial. To most, the scent hit them like a brick wall. "What is going on here?" Morana's voice spoke, suddenly coming out of the shadows right behind Elia and Bherna, her expression, as always, dull. There was Elia, Bherna, a...genie, another guy and was that a giant bug? Boy, today surely still had surprises in store for her. Yet, her attention was focused on the mess maker, Jimba. "Why are you causing so much ruckus? My clan and I have been trying to nap, and your explosives have been most upsetting to the children and elders." Morana said as a matter of factly, glaring at Jimba as it appeared that she was more concerned of the fact that this guy was messing up with the kid's nap time. She paused, taking a look around. "It's taking this much to take you down?" She hummed. The sound of cracking could be heard, as from her skin, her own bones began to form, bending outside of her body as from beneath her dress a tail made out of what seemed to be her spinal cord slowly rose behind her. "Then allow me to help you, if you would allow it." Morana said as politely as possible.

--Eclaire - Kilkes Seres, regretting many things--

Looking up at Shiva. Her cheeks were flushed in pure embarrassment, hating at how silly and useless she must seem. Falling in on people, with an very mad suit of armor asking if she was peeping..but Shiva wasn't angry. She looked more concerned, for a moment, for her, than anything...and even if it was a brief moment, she felt tears well. She wiped them away and took Shiva's offered hands, gripping them...then loosened her grip. "Y-Yes, or you. I-I can't really walk in heels..." She shakily stood and looked away, both with shame from Shiva, and fear from Maxis. She gulped a bit...but didn't let go of Shiva. "I-I am sorry for intruding. I saw you two and was going to come in, th-then you hugged Maxis a...and I didn't know what to do. I...I didn't mean to fall in, I didn't hear anything and I won't say anything." Both of which were true, as discretion was something every queen needed in people. "I am also alright. I...I sent Fiona away, gave her the day off. I am not used to being waited on...a...and not used to people nearby when I bath. I uh...I also kissed her out of hunger...and figured she could use rest." she gulped yet again, clearly out of every comfort zone she had and a bit scared of what just happened. "I...I'll be going...I'll ask Fiona tomorrow how to walk in this." She began to pull away, sliding her feet out of the heels.

Eclaire wanted to get out of there...but she didn't want to let go of Shiva...no one ever had offered her help with such care...no one ever offered her a place, nor said she could be more than a mistake. And that made her look at Shiva. "...please don't be mad..." she added quietly, seeming more like a child who didn't want to be in trouble, than a powerful warrior who could be an army unto herself.

Neena ~ The Zealot ~ Mystras; Raiden's Villa

Lorleanna, the lizard woman came in, announcing for many to hear that the Prince was here. Queen Shiva's choice errand boy had finally made it. Neena was now left with a choice. Should she follow Raiden to go see Jynn? It was an interesting proposal. If she moved correctly, she could start a battle there that would swiftly spread throughout the keep. The unfortunate thing was that she couldn't act before Raiden's announcement of the terms of the contract. That was a problem, for now there was a more solidified relationship between the two companies. Neena hesitated longer still, pouring wine as she watched Raiden leave the room. No. She would stay here for now. If Jynn was going to fight Raiden, then he would. If he wasn't, provocation from her might end rather poorly. So for now, serving the feast would have to do.

Gelabrous ~ The Farmer ~ Avarice; The Market

Gel kind of watched a little awkwardly as Helios spoke to the cat, arching an eyebrow at the whole scene. It was simply odd to Gel. Things had gotten rather swiftly odd and beyond anything Gel might have imagined. Helios waved the cat's paw towards them, and Gel kind of half-heartedly waved back. Not that he didn't like cats, or didn't like Helios, but you know. It was just kind of a whack thing. "I guess that's good Helios. Be nice to see some more of what's going on around here." Gel said with a nod. It was then that Aura and Aurion's conversation became present in his own mind. He listened quietly. Battles... an attack on Sondon that very well could mean the end of the country. The question came, and Gel looked about the group, seeking an answer. When none came, he spoke up. "I mean, if we go back, we might very well get caught up in it too. Henry is tough enough to take care of himself yes? Then again, how long has it been since you were supposed to meet him? Maybe it might be a good idea to backtrack."

Cerberos ~ The Mercenaries ~ Mystras; Flowering Hyssop

Did Swanson really pull that off? Ryonne watched in wonder as the Prince, theoretical prince anyway. The other man had already left the building, and Ryonne had personally thought that he looked more prince like than this angel-faced man who seemed far too content to be speaking with Swanson of all people. Ryonne walked up to Swanson, standing behind the Axe Collector, listening to the pitch. Swanson turned to look at his friend, a glint in his eyes that showed that he was fully confident in how things had gone. Swanson began to speak immediately, having already pocketed the coins, glad to have currency, but Ryonne interrupted him, intending to take over on this conversation. "You can call us Cerberos. Beyond that, well, we'll see if you get there. You have no need to worry about progress. It shall be done." Ryonne said, nodding his head deferentially towards the "prince". He began to pull Swanson away as he headed towards the door where Viridem stood. Swanson, as he was being taken away, gave a final wave towards Yevgeni.

"Thank you again your highness!"

-Helios - Avarice - With Gel and the siblings-

Helios walked towards Gel and the siblings, listening to their concerns. So the Kingdom of Sondon had fallen. How tragic. Though he would not say it out loud, because otherwise his sarcasm of it would go through the roof. The concern of the matter, however, was Henry. He had stayed behind, and now was in a dangerous territory, in the crossfire between this newly appointed war. If they were to head back and try to help him...would they even be able to find him? Maybe. Even Helios could remember that scent of his, the scent that stood out due to the blood that ran through his veins. "Last time we saw him, he was taking on against one of the King's other...experiments. If he got out of that one alive, he might be injured, and heaven knows what other problems he found on his way." Helios admitted. He pursed his lips. "...if we are going back, we're going to have to be careful. Finding him might be quite the task too...but if we backtrack we can try and find him. We owe him that much, after staying behind to make sure that we got out of there." Helios said as he petted the stray cat in his hands, who purred against his touched. Henry was still mortal, despite all of the power he could possibly have. "We can try to track his scent...or whatever disaster route he ended up creating on his way to meet us. To leave him behind would not be an honorable thing to do. I can provide transport once again, whichever is required, and try to use the scent as we head back. We can't assure that we won't come back unscathed. Those who agree to look for Henry, raise your hands. Those who wish to stay behind, leave them still." Helios suggested, looking at Gel. "I'm sorry if we have involved you in something you didn't even think of being part of...but if you join us, I can at least assure you that you won't get bored any time soon." Helios said as he gently let the cat down on the floor and raised his own hand.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop
"What an interesting bunch they are," Rabiyu said once the Cerberos group was gone, "One needs to wonder what they real purpose is."
The High Elf remained silent for a few minutes, wondering about the most nonsensical things, until she remembered her main concern, the Prince and Alicia.
"While I do have some form of curiousity about this little errand of yours, Lord Yevgeni," She said calmly, "I find the matter of his Highness and Alicia a little bit more worrisome. If they ended up in a bad spot thanks to his Highness' recklessness, that would certainly be bad for him and Alicia."
Rabiyu took a look around, most of the patrons were back at their usual stuff, but she could tell that most of them were wary after the sudden appearance of the Prince.
"Pardon my intrusion, but dare I ask," Rabiyu said to Yevgeni, "What is your plan for this weapon, Milord? A weapon such as the one you mention should remain sealed. I am sure you have your reasons and I would gladly listen to them if you decided to share those reasons."

Aeternum Siblings, Helios and Gel - City of Avarice
The siblings looked at each other for seconds, a wordless conversation going between them. The choice was obvious, they had to go back, maybe Henry needed them. Aurion was the first one to rise his hand.
"I will go," he said, "I think it is the right thing to do."
Aura was the next to rise her hand, she had a serious look on her face.
"I agree, " she said, "Henry risked his life to help, and I will do the same for him."
The siblings made their choice, whether it was the right one was not important, for them it was the correct thing to do. A comprade needed help and they would provide it no matter what.

Rabiyu - City of Mystras - Flowering Hyssop

Just when the Cerberos group was about to leave another nuisance showed up, said nuisance was Baxter, and apparently he was not happy with just coming unannounced, but he also wanted everyone to know that he was looking for the Prince, the real one at least. This was getting rather annoying with each passing moment, first the Prince, then Alicia leaving, and now him. Baxter asking her to handle Rufus' lamp to him was not something she thought he would ask.
"I would rather not," she answered calmly, looking at Baxter in the eye, "You come here, demand to give you something important such as Master Contralto's lamp, to ask for a wish, a wish I would rather know what it is."
The High Elf slowly raised from her chair, her eyes showing a barely visible hint of annoyance.
"Pray that you are lucky enough that the group you bumped with a moment ago didn't noticed you are not in the presence of the real prince, child, " she said quietly to Baxter, "Both you and the Prince are not very bright individuals, both coming here unannounced, and both getting in the way."
Oh, Rabiyu was a very calm woman, the only times she got angry was in her childhood, at least that's what her parents had told her, her memories of those times were gone. After a few seconds of silence, and her calming, Rabiyu took a seat once again, she was still annoyed, but her eyes didn't showed it anymore.
"Now take a seat, child," It was not a question, it was an order coming from an older fey, older than Baxter at least. "Explain why did you choose to abandon the group you were with, and instead, rushed to the Prince's side. Something tells me that this was not something the Prince told you to do. And do make haste, we have wasted enough time with yours and the Prince's unannounced interference. He probably already knows about the presence of the Prince within the city, and us for that matter."

Before the feast - A hidden deal within spoiler

After shaking hands with Midnea the lizard woman felt a strange feeling in her body, a rather overwhelming feeling in fact. "The deal is sealed. Now here, I want you to take this & find a way to make Raiden drink it. That's all you'll have to do." said Midnea as she holds out a small vial of what looks to be just plain water inside it. "What! I wouldn't dare poison our ruler! I couldn't bear to have our ruler die because of me!" yelled the lizard woman. "Didn't you want to finally have a child with your husband? to have a family? wasn't that your wish?..." said Midnea with a little smirk on her face seeing the lizard woman's face show a very saddened look. "... It's not poison however my dear, it's cursed water that only runs within my kingdom. This cursed water allows me to drain the magical & physical strength of whoever baths in it or drinks it, releasing all that strength to the empty winds whenever I see fit to activate the cursed water." said Midnea calmly but what she doesn't mention is that the cursed waters effect isn't permanent after activated & that the drained persons strength returns to them after a day or so. "Oh... so he won't die from drinking it then?" asked the lizard woman. "No, my king still needs him for a little bit longer so he'll live. However just make sure he drinks it, the cursed water works best when it's within the body. Now hurry & go, or I might change my mind with this cursed deal. Also remember that should you fail in our deal there will be a drawback." said Midnea as she crossed her arms while showing narrow eyes at her. "Right! thank you again for your help ruler Midnea." said the lizard woman right before she ran off to go find Raiden leaving Midnea alone with a small grin on her face.

After some time within the feast Midnea finally made her appearance within the grand room for which the feast was held within. Midnea was standing near an entrance to the room wearing a rather flattering red & black rose dress with 2 dark blue ribbons within her hair that complemented her own hair color. Midnea's eyes slowly scanned the room as to look for the 1 person she simply must be with at this feast, her king Alderon. Midnea quickly found him at the main table where most of the others were around & no Raiden to be seen which was a bonus for her. Slowly Midnea walked over to him at the table & quickly shooed away the reptilian woman Lorleanna right before she could even touch the meal that Raiden politely offered her. Midnea then took her seat being Raiden's seat looking to her king "I'm sorry for being so very late to the feast my king. I felt I needed a bit more time to rest before coming to join you here. How do you like my dress my king?" asked Midnea calmly right before she took a sip from a glass of red resa wine which was a wine only found in Mystras.

Meanwhile the lizard fey woman that Midnea spoke with before the feast quickly stood before Raiden at the door, preventing him from exiting the building while holding a small silver plate with a glass of red resa wine by itself. "S-sorry for the sudden appearance my lord but... would you please care for a drink? It's red resa wine, your favorite if I'm not mistaken. But this glass of it has a little something extra, y-you see I'm trying to create another flavor by mixing other ingredients in & I'd like for you to try it please, please try it my lord?" asked the lizard woman as she then holds out the silver plate to him in hopes Raiden would drink from the glass she's offering. The lizard woman made a very convincing lie to cover her true intentions for drinking the glass of wine. Meanwhile somewhere within the prison cells of Mystras the knight in red was moving through the hallway, it seems as tho Midnea send him off to do something a bit more then dine with her & the others tonight.

- Lord Raiden, currently stopped by Lizard Woman en route to meeting Jynn -

Raiden was surprised that he was stopped at the door, and by a servant of all people.  She stood before him with a glass of red resa wine, truly one of his favourites, if not merely because of its origin.  However, something seemed off about her behaviour--very off--and a flood of questions surged to the forefront of his mind.  Shouldn't she have selected a different day to make alterations to perfectly great wine, a day which wasn't fateful to two or more nations?  Besides that, she could have asked any of the other servants to taste test, and yet she desired him to do it, so much so she would barricade the door.

"I'm sorry, madame, but this is not the time for wine or dalliances," he said, coughing into his hand and closing his eyes.

His actions were intended to hide a wave of his hand behind his back with search magic.  He searched her for hidden weaponry, if she even had any weaponry, and snooped into the glass of wine.  He could not detect much that was odd or even different except for that the wine was watered down, which made him frown.  After a small bout of time, he reopened his eyes and looked at her with peculiarity.

"Out of curiosity, what did you put in the wine?  It looks different somehow.  Come to think of it, why aren't you with the other servants either in the kitchen or in the banquet hall?  We should be making our guests feel comfortable and at home, should we not?"
