Better not be true. Makes the whole Uncovered event seem meaningless since the whole purpose was to reveal the release date. This game feels like its NEVER gonna release at all 

What's this FF15 everyone's talking about? And what happened to Versus XIII? It's like it suddenly disappeared and got replaced with this new numbered game. Weird...

(I wasn't really planning to get this anyway, unless I end up getting a PS4, but for now... Eh.)

VersusXIII is FFXV. Final Fantasy 15 has been delayed as you can see. If you do get a PS4, try picking it up.

I'm not even planning to pick up the game and I find it strange that people are butthurt over this. Tabata cares about the fans, evidently. They wanna make the game the best they possibly can. And you know what? If KH3 got delayed for the same reason, I'd be perfectly fine with it.

 

Also lol @ those that cancelled their pre-order. It's not as if they weren't going to get it. I saw a comment on the video Tabata made saying something along the lines of "You may as well cancel the game completely if you're gonna delay it." Like... wut? That logic was astounding to me. *facepalm*

True they have completed the master version but they want to be it the ultimate quality version.

Can only hope they have the same mindset with KH3..of course without announcing a release date beforehand.

Really stupid reason to delay it IMO. The majority of gamers purchasing FFXV have an internet connection. Only a minority are without it. Besides, now they're gonna have to release a version of XV for the PS Neo as well since Sony said any game released after October must include support for the base PS4 in addition to the Neo.

 

There are 4 billion people in the world without Internet. How would you know how many people buying the game have Internet?

Well, let's hope this extra time makes the game all that more awesome, ya know?

 

 

I don't mind the game's delay, because I haven't been following the game's development closely, so waiting till November will be like nothing to me, ya know? I'm very excited to play it, and from the looks of it, XV will be quite a spectacular Final Fantasy game!

Just a thought, but I think there should be a Final Fantasy subboard or subforum here.

A FF subforum probably wouldn't be necessary considering this is a Kingdom Hearts board, plus the Video Games section exists.

However, I agree that it would be nice to have one.

I agree with his reasonings for delaying FFXV, There are well known games that had big problems on day one patches. A developer that takes his time to make sure the game is at its absolute best is a good developer. This delay will not stop fans who have been following FFXV news for 10 years from purchasing the game.

 

We'll find out if the delay is worth it on release date. I'll probably buy it and keep in shelf until I get a PS4 at some point lol...
