Kingdom Hearts 3D to be released on July 20, 2012 in Europe

Update 3: If you have a Nintendo 3DS from Europe or Australia, then you can access the eShop right now and download this English footage to your Nintendo 3DS! Unfortunately, this is not available in North America, and the footage is not in 3D.

Nintendo Direct of Europe has confirmed that Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance] will be released in Europe on July 20, 2012! The first footage of the English version was also shown at the event, featuring English text and voices! You can view this below.

Update 2: We have created an archive of English trailers for Kingdom Hearts 3D, and added this video as the first video.

Update 1: The following Dream Eaters have received English names in this video.

Neko Cat -> Necho Cat
Hari Lion -> Pricklemane
Koumori Bat -> Komory Bat

I'm kind of upset, not really because Europe gets it first, but because my Summer will be over on the 31st....I'm in band, so I have to go to band camp all day. So it's like going to school but only worse.

There you go Europe. English KH3D brought to you by American and Canadian localizers and voice actors. No need to thank us.

(Vincent Corazza is Canadian.)

Fixed.

Edit: ... Necho cat? Since when did 'ko' sound like 'cho'?

I haven't been so happy in a long time. xD

The fact that one of the few games we get before NA is Kingdom Hearts... omg just so happy. <3 I can get it on release date now, seeing as if it were more than a day later I'd be in Texas on holiday.

Since we got a few names for the dream eaters in the english version is there going to be more dream eaters with english names soon?

Pricklemane sounds like a bad guy that would challenge the power of friendship in a my little pony episode. And necho sounds like Nacho lmao.

Hmm. Well, as it seems I was wrong in BOTH my assumption of the release date and that the event wouldn't contain English footage.

I suck. :P

Ok so run this by me again......you said NORTH AMERICA is doing the LOCALIZATION voices BUT we still get the game LAST? This makes absolutely no sense, not even mad about Europe getting it first but seriously? It takes more effort to ship it to Europe than to release it here first...

I'm just gonna leave this here for all the people complaining:

Kingdom Hearts: NA- September 17 2002

EU- November 15 2002

CoM: NA- December 7 2004

EU- May 6 2005

Kingdom Hearts II: NA- March 28 2006

EU- September 29 2006

Re CoM: NA- December 2 2008

EU- Never Released

358/2 Days onwards have been more kinder to us:

358/2 Days: NA- September 29 2009

EU- October 9 2009

Birth by Sleep: September 7 2010

EU- September 10 2010

Re Coded: NA- January 11 2011

EU- January 14 2011

So are 11 days really that bad?

The thing with 11 days for me that makes me mad is that Square said they were shortening the release date between NA and Europe if KH3D was coming out in NA on July 24th i wouldnt mind getting it last, but it is going to be harder to avoid spoilers with 11 days

its hard enough for me to avoid spoilers and with that 11 day gap its gonna be the hardest ever!!
