English screens & voice actors for Kingdom Hearts 3D revealed

Square Enix have released more English screenshots for Kingdom Hearts 3D [Dream Drop Distance], and confirmed many of the major voice actors that will be present in the title. This information was all released in a press release by Square Enix Europe, and can be seen below.

· Leonard Nimoy– Best known for his role as Spock on Star Trek, Leonard Nimoy reprises his role as Master Xehanort, the main antagonist of the Kingdom Hearts series and archenemy of Sora and Riku.

· Haley Joel Osment– Known for his role in the critically acclaimed The Sixth Sense, Haley Joel Osment returns to play Sora, the main protagonist in the Kingdom Hearts franchise, working to complete the Mark of Mastery exam and become a true Keyblade Master.

· David Gallagher– Remembered for his work on 7 th Heaven, David Gallagher joins the cast again as Riku, struggling to become a true Keyblade Master alongside his best friend, Sora.

· Hayden Panettiere– Noted for her performance on Heroes, Hayden Panettiere returns to voice Xion, a 14th member of Organization XIII, an organization that stands against Sora and his friends.

· Jesse McCartney– Recording artist Jesse McCartney reprises his roles as the heroes, Roxas and Ventus.

· Quinton Flynn– Known best for his voice acting on Robot Chicken, Quinton Flynn returns as Axel / Lea, another member of Organization XIII.

Cool! Except Allison Stoner played Xion in 358/2 Days. Does that mean its a typo or is the voice actor that should have played Xion from the beginning really doing it this time.

    Nimoy and Hayden are returning?!?!!! YES!!!!!!!!!!! I just effin' woke up and felt drowsy as fudge..but I'm awake now. 8'D

     

    p.s I never want to hear Alyson's voice come out of Xion's mouth again, so please Hayden....STAY! ;A;

    Hayden Panettiere's involvement in this was pretty much confirmed since this is a bigger-budgeted title than the DS titles, in which her characters were played by Alyston Stoner. Apparently, Hayden also voiced Xion in BBS, despite Stoner originally voicing her in Days, so it was likely that she'd return here.

     

    Now, all we need is confirmation of Jeff Bridges and this list will be A-OKAY!

    When did Hayden get to be Xion? I don't recall hearing Hayden doing voice acting to no other than Kairi :/ Seem kind of strange when I was so used to Alyson :P

    Hayden was supposed to be Xion from the very begining, seeing as Kairi's Japanese VA is also Xion's. But for whatever reason couldn't, but ever since BbS, she seems to finally be stepping into her other role. <3

    I read somewhere awhile back that Hayden was struggling financially and charged people who wanted her autograph. Perhaps she's returning to these roles because she is in need of money? Or maybe she just couldn't do it those two other times. Or, maybe both.

    She was probably busy with Heroes. Heroes ended early 2010 and she voiced Kairi in BBS, which came out later that same year. Re:COM and 358/2 Days both came out while she was still in Heroes.

    Months ago on his facebook where he corrected his statement "The next one"(referring to Xehanort), then later said he plays Ansem SoD and Nimoy plays Master Xehanort.

    I was so glad that Leonard Nimoy is coming back!!!...But I was kinda disappointed that Alyson Stoner didn't come back to voice Xion...:(
