Square Enix have released a new video of the director of the Kingdom Hearts series, Tetsuya Nomura sketching Sora in his Kingdom Hearts II outfit in order to celebrate the release of Kingdom Hearts HD 2.5 ReMIX in Japan. You can watch the video below.

Dang, this is why Nomura is one of my many favorite artists. Also, I do not know why I did not see it sooner, I thought Nomura was a rough style artist but in fact it is more melancholy and whimsical then with textured hard-lining to give line weight.

I wanna frame that one day

 

I love him as an artist. His drawing style is so unique. I like how he follows the basic anime body outline, then puts his own spin on it. (Shape of head, etc)
