This. There is no hidden reason characters did things in past titles due to that fact that future title concepts hadn't even existed yet/weren't even a thought. He was there for the reasons stated he was there and nothing more.

Difficult. There are too many that give me shivers. But I think maybe Riku when hes possessed by Ansem right before Sora becomes a heartless. That fight was awesome the first time and still is.

Either Katsura Hashino or Kitase. I like Nomura but he thinks too hard. For example, he thinks he has to create a story element to justify Sora starting at level 1 every time. He shouldn't have to. We as gamers should know that's just how mechanics work.

If I stood by my "Sora is a sort of Kingdom Hearts" Theory. It would be like touching himself.

The general consensus is that the original Devil May Cry, 3, and 4 are pretty good games. I haven't played 2, I hear its pretty lack luster. And I would rather not play the reboot.

It really doesn't matter. Its all speculation anyways.

Virtual Reality has been around for years. There's nothing really new about the idea. It's just a matter of refining and streamlining the tech to make it easy to develop for and easy for the public to use.

Its the reality of the world. A lot of these companies are based in Japan. Its only logical that they would be biased toward their more immediate communities before the rest of the world.

Outdated? Sure, but it's not like much has changed. A spin off here and there and an MMO isn't much of a leap.

I agree with this 100%. Its so easy to hate and not appreciate the hard work that these guys do for there fans. A little appreciation goes a long way.

It means not as much attention as XV but still pretty up there.

10/10 would watch relentlessly

To me, as long as they keep the story interesting, I don't care how many spin offs they make. Still it'll be nice to have a fresh cast in P5. At least they're working towards it in the mean time versus Square-Enix and the XIII Trilogy.

Personally I find V to be a bit of deviation from the standards set in games like IV, II, and maybe even III. While II is almost not recognizable gameplay wise as a Final Fantasy however I feel it was a necessary step Square needed to take in order to see what worked for them in a system. So despite II maybe not being their best I definitely don't think its the worst to come out of Square and Sakaguchi. Now the point I'm reaching toward here is that V was developed by a Square that had already well established its style. Games like IV and II had a very heavy tone in there narratives and V seems almost too light hearted, too silly, and I would even go as far too say satirical of their earlier works. Which isn't to say that the game doesn't feature some deep moments in it's story but they don't feel central to the game's story in the way that IV tugged on my heartstrings and arguably set the standard for VI-Modern Day.

Definitely Child of Light. That game is on my all time favorites list!

You just reminded me that I need to play this game. I knew there was something else I could use my 3DS for.

What the above poster said. In addition, the only heartless that we've know to retain their memories of their former selves were Ansem and Sora specifically because they chose to become heartless albeit for different reasons.
