  1. Excellent Adventure? Bogus Journey? Someone's a Bill and Ted fan *airguitars* Anywho, we don't fully know everything about time travel in the KH universe yet, also I don't think the YMX of DDD went back to his own time yet, since he's the one with the time travel powers, and went through his own timeline to pick up the other members. So it's entirely possible for him to still be able to travel through time and pick them back up again, because even though you say it breaks the rules of time travel, we don't know that for sure because we don't know anything. I think it'd be far worse if he, and the other Xehanort forms that are gone (Ansem SoD, Xemnas) didn't come back, because they've already been established as part of the 13 Darkness, they wouldn't have them as apart of it, and then not bring them back. That would be stupid.
  2. Ping looked around to see the battle was over and reverted back to his normal form, his Keyblade coming back together in his hand, then desummoning. He heard someone speak to him, and turned to find Riku. He looked just like his parents said he would. "I am a friend, Riku." he said, holding his hand out. "I am Li Ping, son of Fa Mulan and Li Shang, but not from this dimension. I have come to this dimension, following after the son of Jafar attempting to put an end to him, but I can lend whatever help I can as well."
  3. (Two pages of post already, damn. Well, not really gonna read it all, so I'm just gonna enter now lol) A corridor of light appeared and Li Ping walked through it into Radient Garden, shocked to find a battle going on in front of him. He drew his Keyblade and threw it in the air. The dragon of his Keyblade flew off and onto his back, opening it's mouth and engulfing his head, becoming a helmet, with the rest of it becoming armor around his torso, with the tail becoming like his own. Then the tiger split off into four pieces, covering his arms and legs, becoming clawed gauntlets and greaves. The wings folded up into the back, and he rushed into the fray, trying to figure out who was good and who was evil.
  4. That's what I'm thinking, I mean they can't have her not appear, when they reveal who she is at the end, and the guy with Vulture has to be Scorpion. I'm excited for it, especially since he's the same guy who plays Vaas in Far Cry 3. Also, love the ending scene with Aunt May, he puts the suit back on, she's right there going "What the fu-" roll credits.
  5. I don't think he was the one fighting Sora, since Sora was struggling, and YMX seemed to just be standing there watching on, as if he sent out a Heartless or Nobody for Sora to fight against.
  6. There's a couple things I have to say about your analysis, which for the most part was amazing. First, the green aliens didn't first appear in Toy Story 2, they first appeared in the original Toy Story, in the Claw Machine of Pizza Planet. And it's not tied to the string, it's held on with the Claw. Secondly, you neglected to mention that Sora changes to the previously seen Power form when he uses Hyper Hammer, you can tell because his black clothes turn red. And if you remember back to the pic where we first saw Power form, they hid the hammer behind a flash of light, to hide the fact it was the Hyper Hammer, which would have revealed the Toy Story world too soon.
  7. Personally, I never really liked the idea of the attraction flow, I don't really think adding Disney World/Land rides as an attacking method was really a good idea, to me it took away from the fantasy of it, I just see these and think "Oh, Disney is promoting their theme parks in this game, it doesn't fit in at all" So I personally hope they decided to get rid of them. I mean, we have enough new ways to take down the Heartless and Nobodies anyways.
  8. Awesome, and yeah, WakingDawn and I discussed things via pm, I had no idea this was a continuation of a previous RP. Also, you're in for a treat, imo Homecoming was the best Spiderman movie ever, Tom Holland seemed to capture what Peter Parker/Spiderman really was all about, being nerdy and sassy/quippy. Toby Maguire didn't do too bad, but something seemed lacking. As for Andrew Garfield, just no. His performance you could tell he had no idea what he was talking about with the nerdy stuff, and he portrayed Peter Parker as a skater boy pretty much, imo.
  9. Been a while since I did an RP, might as well give this a shot. Name: Li Ping (last name first) Age: 24 History/Background: He is the son of Fa Mulan and Li Shang, but in the Untold Realm, he heard the stories of Sora and the others from his parents, and had always wanted to wield a Keyblade like Sora. He was taught martial arts by his parents and learned the Tiger Style, as well as swordfighting. Eventually, he came across a Keyblade Wielder and was given the ability to wield one himself. It was during his training as a Keyblade Wielder that he learned of Dezod Ikuna, and was given the mission of stopping him for good. Thus, he chased after Dezod, ending up in this realm as well, where he can now join forces with his hero, Sora. Personality: He is a very proud person, not willing to accept help from others, however will freely help others that need it. Appearance: His drive form armor consists of a black helmet in the shape of a dragon head, with it's mouth open to show his face, with it's neck going down and covering his torso in black scales stronger than steel, with wings on the back that can fold away hidden when not flying, as well as a scaly tail coming out the end. Over his arms and legs are white gauntlets that end in claws on his hands and feet. Home-World: Land of Dragons (Untold Realm version) Weapon: Keyblade: Ryutora (Ryu = Dragon, Tora = Tiger): Yinyang keychain connected to dragon head with horns twisting around to form the guard. Dragon's neck is handle, leading to wings that fold in, forming the blade, wrapped around a tiger coming out, with the tiger's head being the key part. The dragon is black, and the tiger is white. Sub Weapon: Keyblade Transformation/Drive Form: Flying Tiger: The tiger and dragon in the keyblade separate, the dragon covering his torso and head like armor, also becoming working wings, the tiger turning into clawed gauntlets and greaves, covering his arms and legs. In this form he can fly around with the wings, and slash with the claws on his hands and feet. The wings can retract into the back armor when not in use. In this form he utilizes the Tiger Style of martial arts, or can go airborne and fly in for slashes. Equipment: He only brought his Keyblade and the clothes on his back, and a dragon medal he keeps in his pocket, with which he can call his guardian beast Mushu the dragon. Japanese Voice Actor: Noriaki Sugiyama English Voice Actor: Yuri Lowenthal Theme Song: You Say Run - My Hero Academia https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ChCp9knOnII KH2FM is my favorite game so far, with my most memorable moment being the Sora vs Roxas fight in TWTNW, because it was so epic visually, as well as the fact it was the first time you were actually fighting against another Keyblade Wielder. I don't count the KH1 fight against Riku because it's not a true Keyblade, and it was just like any of the other Riku fights. It was also very emotional, with the music and the symbolism of the fight itself, which you only truly get after you understand the full story of Roxas, as seen in Days.
  10. Jump-start sounds good, been a while since I've done a good RP, wouldn't mind getting back into the swing of things.
  11. These are not the first games, there is a quadralogy that comes first, which are only on PS2, however, you don't need to play those games to get into GU, however there was a possibility for the PS2 versions to transfer data from the first series into the second series, but all that did was change the name of the final boss of the first GU game, since he's based off of the player character of the first series. However, you don't need to have played the first series to get into the second. Honestly, I didn't like the combat style of the first series, so I only played the first game (.hack// Infection), played through the game, and found myself way underlevelled at the final boss of the first game. I avoided most battles because I didn't like how they handled combat in the first series, so I stopped playing without beating the first game, and just started GU, which I enjoyed way more. So if you want to get into the series, I recommend GU, either get the PS2 games, or wait for this remake to come out. If you really want to know the story of the first series, you can look up cutscenes on youtube, or you can get all four games of the first series and play through them, I personally didn't enjoy the first game.
  12. *points to my username* You sir, have just made my firetrucking day! SO MUCH HYPE!!!!! GU was my favorite of the .hack series, though tbh I only played the first of the original, wasn't too fond of the combat of it and ended up facing Skeith way too underleveled. But I loved GU so much, I'm so happy they're bringing back this wonderful series to the PS4. And that few second clip of Haseo's new PS4 look, I literally cried tears of epicness.
  13. Well, if you're going to college, it means you're a legal adult, so technically they can't force you to do anything. If you want to attend a different college, do it, it's your life, not theirs, live it the way you want to.
  14. Holy crap I got lucky in my Route 102 encounter, got a female Ralts!
  15. Those sound interesting, thanks for the help. EDIT: Just caught a Poochyena now, any ideas?
  16. Finally got back into this, working on chapter 2 now. Just caught my first Pokemon, a Zigzagoon, I'm here to see if anyone can think of any nicknames for a Zigzagoon/Linoone
  17. Bucky is a girl, you just can't see her boobs that well in the coat, she's not as big as the others.
  18. What I find interesting is that Goofy's birthday is the same as my father's. And speaking of birthday's, today is mine!
  19. I know this is a joke, but this is gen 7 now, gen 6 was X and Y
  20. Alright, thanks for your help guys! The poll is now closed, and it looks like we have a tie between Mudkip and Treeko. Since I voted as well, I will defer to my vote, Treeko. And thank you Shimmy for giving some interesting ideas for nicknames, if it is male I will name him Buster, for the Buster Sword, however if it is female, I will name her Jasmine, as per your wishes. Alright, posted the first chapter! http://kh13.com/forum/topic/96525-pokemon-a-new-journey-in-hoenn/
  21. Chapter 1: The Journey Begins! "Hi! Sorry to keep you waiting!" said a brown haired man with a matching beard wearing a white lab coat. "Welcome to the world of Pokemon! My name is Birch. But everyone calls me the Pokemon Professor." Professor Birch pulled a small red and white ball out of his pocket. "And this is what we call a 'Pokemon.'" Professor Birch gently tossed the ball and out popped an Azurril, crying out cutely "Zurr!" The screen of the PokeNav Plus tilted as a young boy, ten years of age, looked up as the moving truck he's riding in hit a bump, shaking a little. "This world is widely inhabited by creatures known as Pokemon." Professor Birch continued on the screen. "We humans live beside Pokemon, at times playing together as friends, and at times helping one another out. And sometimes, we just like to have fun battling others like us! But as close as we are, we don't know everything about Pokemon. In fact, there are still many, many mysteries surrounding Pokemon. I do research to try to unravel those Pokemon mysteries. But that's enough about me! What about you? Are you a boy? Or are you a girl?" The young boy selected the option for boy on the screen. "Will you give me your name too?" The young boy entered his name, Kyle. "So you're Kyle?" the screen read. Kyle selected the 'Yes' option. "Ah I see! You're THAT Kyle!" Professor Birch responded. "You're the one who's moving to Littleroot Town, where I live!" The truck hit another bump, the doors opening slightly. "Are you ready? Your very own adventure is now about to unfold! Be couragous and leap into the world of Pokemon where dreams, adventures, and friendships await! I expect we'll be meeting again soon! Come see me in my Pokemon Lab!" Just then, the moving truck stopped and the doors opened fully. Kyle got up and stretched a little, putting his PokeNav Plus away in his green bag before dusting off his red and black shirt and black pants. His blue eyes blinked a bit as he stepped out of the moving truck and into the light, looking around at the town he would now call home, just as his mother stepped out of their new house. "Kyle! You're here at last!" she said, smiling as she made her way over to him. "Wasn't it tough riding in the back of the bumpy moving truck all that way?" she asked him. "Not really, mom." Kyle responded, stretching again. "Though it was a little cramped." "Well, this is Littleroot Town." she said. "What do you think? This is going to be our new home! It has a quaint feel, but it looks like it should be a nice place to live, don't you think?" Kyle looked around again and responded "It's not too bad, it's kind of a small town, with only a couple houses, and Professor Birch's Lab." "Yeah, and you get your own room this time, Kyle!" chimed his mother. "Come on. You have to see the inside!" With that, his mother lead him inside their new home. "See, Kyle? Isn't it nice in here, too?" she asked. "Yeah, pretty nice I guess." he said, looking around at his new home. "The moving company's Pokemon even help with the unpacking and cleanup." his mother continued. "They really make moving a cinch!" "Pokemon really are amazing!" he replied, smiling in wonder at the Machoke putting away the boxes containing their belongings. Just then, one of the Machoke walked up to them "Mah, mah, choke..." Kyle's mom turned around and says "Thanks for all the hard work! We really appreciate it!" "Yeah!" Kyle added. "It's so awesome!" "Mahmah choke..." the Machoke said, before both of them walked out of the house. "You should go and see your new room upstairs, Kyle!" his mother said, turning back to him after the Pokemon leave. "Dad even bought a new clock for it to help celebrate the big move. You'll need to set the time, though!" "Alright mom, thanks!" Kyle said, walking past his mother and up the stairs into his new room. He looked around and noticed the map of the Hoenn region, his flatscreen TV with his Wii U plugged in, his giant Snorlax doll, his bed, and his desk with his notebook full of adventure rules he wrote down. He noticed the new clock on the wall next to the map. However, the clock wasn't moving, so he went and set the proper time. Once he finished, his mother came up the stairs, saying "How do you like your new room, Kyle?" "It's really nice, though I'm just glad to have my own room now." Kyle replied, putting the clock back on the wall. "Good! Everything's put away neatly! They finished moving everything in downstairs, too. It really is so nice having Pokemon around to help us! Oh, but you should make sure that everything's all there on your desk." With that, his mother walked back down the stairs. Kyle went over to his desk to make sure everything was in order, it was then that he heard his mom call out. "Oh! Kyle! Kyle!!! Quick! Come quickly!" Kyle turned and bounded down the stairs, seeing his mom in front of the TV. "What is it mom?" he asked, going up to her. "It's the Petalburg Gym! Maybe Dad will be on TV!" she said. "Oh cool!" Kyle said, looking at the TV. There was a man standing in front of the camera with a microphone in his hand saying "We brought you this report live from in front of Petalburg Gym. Next up, a special look at a long-awaited meteor shower in the next star show..." "Oh... It's already ended." his mother said, turning off the TV. "Looks like your dad was on, but we missed his part." "What a shame." Kyle said, a little disappointed. His father, Norman, was the new gym leader of Petalburg City. He'd hung out with his father's Pokemon, all of which were the Normal type, but he'd never seen him battle before. Just then, his mother chimed in "That's reminds me... One of Dad's friends lives in this town. Professor Birch is his name. He lives right next door, so you should go over and introduce yourself." "Yeah! I was planning on visiting his lab too." Kyle said. "Well, I'll be heading out now Mom, I'll see you later!" "Have fun Kyle!" she said, smiling as he walked out the door. He walked over to the house next door, ringing the doorbell. A woman answered the door, saying "Oh, hello. And you are?" "I'm Kyle, I just moved in next door." he said to her. "Oh, you're Kyle! Welcome! We have a daughter about the same age as you. She has been so excited about making a new friend. She should be in her room upstairs. I hope you'll go and introduce yourself!" "Sure." he said. "If it's alright to just go into her room." "Oh it's fine, dear." she said, smiling. "Alright." Kyle said, heading up the stairs. There, he saw a girl tightening the red bow on top of her head, and adjusting the pouch around her waist. "Pokemon fully restored, items all ready, and..." The girl started saying, before she noticed Kyle. "Huh?!" she said, walking over to him. "Who... are you?" "Oh, sorry for intruding! I'm Kyle, I just moved in next door!" Kyle said to her. "Oh! So you're Kyle! Your move was today, huh?" she said, smiling at him. "Well, I'm May! Glad to meet you! I... I actually have this dream of becoming friends with Pokemon all over the world. And then when Dad- oh, I mean Professor Birch- told me about you moving here, Kyle... Well, I was hoping you would be nice and we could be friends. B-but that's just silly, isn't it? I've just met you. Right, Kyle? So what am I talking about..." she started getting a worried look on her face. "Well, I'd like to think I'm nice." Kyle said, smiling back at her. "And I don't seen any problem with us becoming friends!" She looked relieved and said "Thanks!" Then, she looked as if she just remembered something. "Oh no! I forgot! I was supposed to be going out to help Dad catch some wild Pokemon! Kyle, I'll see you later!" With that, she walked past him and down the stairs. Not wanting to linger in her room while she wasn't there, Kyle went down the stairs as well, and out the door. "Well, I guess I'll head to Professor Birch's Lab now!" Kyle said to himself, heading toward the lab south of his house. He found the door open and walked inside "Hello? Anyone here?" Just then, a man with a lab coat and glasses approached him. "Yes?" the man asked. "Um, sorry for the intrusion, but I'm here to see Professor Birch, he's expecting me." Kyle said. "Oh, the Professor isn't here right now, he's out in Route 101 to the north doing field research." the man said. "Oh, thank you, I'll go check there then." Kyle said, heading out the door and towards the route. As soon as he entered the route, he heard a man yell "H-help me!" Kyle ran to see what was going on, to find Professor Birch being chased into a corner by a Poochyena. "Halloo! You over there! Please! Help me out!" he said. "In my Bag! There are some Poke Balls!" "Right!" Kyle said, reaching in the bag to grab one of the three Poke Balls, each containing a different Pokemon. He grabbed one of the balls and tossed it, a Treecko popping out of the ball. "Tree!" it called out, ready to fight. From memory, Kyle knew that Treecko started out with Pound, Leer, and Absorb so he said "Treecko, use Pound on that Poochyena!" The Treecko nodded and swung his tail at the Poochyena, landing a good smack on it's face. The Poochyena shook it's head, and countered with a Tackle, ramming it's head into Treecko's gut. "Ko!" Treecko winced a little from the hit, but turned around and swung his tail at the Poochyena again, with the Poochyena ramming it's head into Treecko once more. Treecko whacked it with his tail one more time, and knocked it out, sending it back into the bushes. "Nice work Treecko!" Kyle said, returning the Pokemon to it's ball and turning towards Professor Birch. "You alright Professor?" Kyle asked. The Professor nodded and said "Whew... I went into the tall grass to survey wild Pokemon when I was suddenly jumped! You saved my hide. Thanks a lot!" "No problem Professor!" Kyle said with a smile. "Oh?" the Professor said, finally getting a good look at Kyle. "But you're Norman's boy, Kyle! I didn't even realize who you were at first. You've grown into quite the young man." "Thanks Professor." Kyle said, rubbing the back of his head. "This isn't the plae for a chat, though. Come along to my lab." With that, Professor Birch led Kyle back to his lab. "So, Kyle!" the Professor said, once they were back at the lab. "I've heard so much about you from your father. But he said that you don't have your own Pokemon yet. If that's true, that was quite the performance back there! Looks like you really are your father's son!" "Well, thank you Professor!" Kyle said, a little embarrassed at the praise. "Oh, yes! To say thanks for rescuing me out there, how about I give you that Pokemon you used earlier?" Birch said, handing Kyle Treecko's Poke Ball. "Really Professor!?" Kyle said, wide-eyed, gingerly holding the Poke Ball. He'd always wanted a Pokemon of his own, and here he was being given one. "Are you sure!?" "Of course! You did save me, after all. While you're at it, why not give a nickname to that Treecko?" "Alright." Kyle said, looking at the Poke Ball. "Yup! That's the spirit! So what kind of name will you go with?" Professor Birch asked. Kyle tossed the Poke Ball, sending out Treecko. He knelt down, looked Treecko in the eyes and said "I think I'll name you... Buster!" "Ko!" the newly named Treecko said, smiling and nodding his head in approval. "You know, if you work with your Pokemon and gain experience, I think you'll make a pretty excellent Trainer." Professor Birch said. "My girl, May, happens to be out on Route 103 right now, surveying Pokemon for me. It might not be a bad idea for you to head out that way yourself. What do you think?" "I think that sounds like a great idea!" Kyle said. "I can't wait to show her my new Pokemon!" "Great!" Birch said. "I'm sure May'll be happy to hear that, too. She can help teach you what it means to be a Trainer. Oh, yes! And if you're ever lost along the way, use the AreaNav on your PokeNav Plus!" "You can use it to see how to get to Route 103, where May ought to be. And if you or your Pokemon get tired, get some rest back at your new house." "Right, thanks again Professor!" Kyle said, returning Treecko back to his ball and heading out of the Lab. He pulled out his PokeNav Plus and checked the AreaNav app. "It looks like Route 103 is to the North. First I have to travel through Route 101, then Oldale Town, then I'll reach Route 103. Alright, time to head out!" Kyle put the PokeNav Plus away and headed for Route 103.
  22. Thanks for the support, I'll leave the Poll up until tomorrow morning, top vote wins. Also, proposed nicknames would be appreciated too! Nothing inappropriate though. Also, thanks to Flaming Lea for deleting the old thread in random, forgot I could ask for it to be moved lol
  23. This is a repost, since I didn't think I was getting enough people viewing, commenting, and voting on the thread in Random. Also, I feel it probably belongs here more anyways, since I'll be posting the story here when I start doing it. So, I decided to try and do something I haven't done since I was in high school, try and write a story. But not just any story, a story based on a playthrough of Pokemon Alpha Sapphire I'm about to do. But not any normal playthrough, a Nuzlocke. For those of you that don't know, a Nuzlocke is a special kind of playthrough with three main rules, and several optional side rules. First main rule: The first Pokemon you encounter in a route is the Pokemon you have to catch, it forces you to use Pokemon you wouldn't normally use, as well as giving the added challenge of limiting the total number of Pokemon availabe for you. Rule two: You must give a nickname to every Pokemon you catch, this is to try and form more of a bond with the Pokemon you catch and use. Rule three: If a Pokemon faints, it is considered dead and must either be released or put in a special box in the PC designated for dead Pokemon, this is to add an extra challenge to the game and force you to plan ahead before each battle, as well as add some drama as you lose a Pokemon you named and grew attached to. However there is a special variation you can do for 6th gen (X, Y, Omega Ruby, Alpha Sapphire) called Wonderlocke, which is basically the same thing, but each Pokemon you catch then gets sent to Wonder Trade, and what you recieve is what you use. Although, I haven't decided whether I want to do the traditional or Wonderlocke, which is why I put up the poll. Also, I may ask for potential nicknames for Pokemon here in this thread, while I'll be posting the chapters of the story in a thread in the creative media forum, which I will link to this thread once I post the first chapter. So, I have two questions. First is the poll question: Should I stick with the traditional Nuzlocke, or go for the Wonderlocke? Second question: Would you be interested in reading the story of my adventures in this Nuzlocke, which I will also add a personality and dialogue to the normally silent protaganist? Well, Traditional Nuzlocke won, so next question is what should I pick for my starter? Treeko, Torchic, or Mudkip? Alright, now that everything's been decided, I'll be using this post to keep track of all my Pokemon, since for some reason only the link and trainer card can fit in my sig. Pokemon with Kyle "Buster" the Treecko: Male "Bandit" the Zigzagoon: Male "Pooch" the Poochyena: Male "Erza" the Ralts: Female Pokemon in PC None Pokemon no longer with Kyle (aka those that died) None
